This company is a scam. That don't pay their vendors. They don't care about their clients. Stay away from them. Go buy at Jane.com or zulily.com
Stay far away! Was not paid now have to go through UT labor devision or get an attorney! What a nightmare!
Hi Becca!
I'm happy to look into this for you and see what's going on. I'm so sorry you have had such a hard time receiving payment but I do want to make this right with you. Could you provide me with your seller/vendor name and I can pull up your account?
This was by far the worst business to work with! They try to confuse you and try very hard to get away without payment. I never was paid on time and normally had to get multiple people involved to get paid. The last time took 4 months to be paid and when I asked to speak to a manager, they told me they no longer wanted to work with me. They also took $150 out of a payment for no reason. When I confronted them about this, it magically was sent right away. They were hoping I wouldn't notice that $150 taken.
Hi Rebecca,

If I could give 0 stars I would. I sell with many daily deal sites and Groopdealz/Eleventh Avenue is the only one I've had any trouble with. I ship all items out on time, however, I have had to email or call them several times a day for weeks on end to get payment. In fact, I've never been paid on time for any of my deals with them. It is impossible to get through to the accounting department and they DO NOT respond to voicemail messages and emails.
I believe their payment schedule is meant to confuse you. Shipping payment is given within 3 days after deal ends (they are always prompt with this one because they want you to get your products out on time). First payment (75% of what is owed) is 7-10 business days after there is "shipping movement" and final payment is 30 business days after first payment. I think this is strategic... they hope you will forget about all the payments owed to you because it is so hard to keep it all straight (especially if you have multiple deals).
I only got payment after finally getting a manager involved. It should not be this way. Vendors should be paid on time every time! We are what keep a business like this in business. I will never sell another product through Groopdealz and I highly recommend you steer clear also. The trouble is definitely not worth it!
Whether you are a vendor or buyer, STAY AWAY from this company! They have horrible business practices and I refuse to tarnish my business name because I will not complete any more orders because they haven't paid me for the first two. Don't believe anything their "Accounting" department says. Bullys!
I wish I've researched Groopdealz/Eleventhavenue before I became a vendor 2 yrs. Ago. They have always been delayed with their payments but didn't notice it until I received an email from another frustrated vendor. They are over 3 months behind in paying me MY money. As a small business, that is HUGE! So, I will be filing a complaint through the State Consumer Protection. Message me if you want more information. This fraudulent scheme's got to end! FRUSTRATED VENDORS>>>UNITE!
Just a heads up to anyone out there who is contemplating becoming a vendor on Groopdealz/Eleventh Avenue or has been contacted to become one.
I WOULD NOT suggest it whatsoever. Do not fall for it and their spiel. I sell on several of the daily deal sites, and Groopdealz is the only one i have ever had any issue with. They do not send payments on time, their accounting department never responds to emails or voicemails, and they are completely unprofessional. They owe me a lot of money, and fail to pay. They are ripping off their vendors, and then the vendor gets customers emailing angry when they don't receive their order. This looks horrible on the vendors reputation, when in reality it is Groopdealz because they won't pay. Their customer service doesn't know that payments aren't being sent so they make you look like the bad guy.
I placed an order on 5/22 for two beach sheets. BOTH OF THEM were NOT the ones I ordered. There was no way to contact them, so I went to their facebook page and found a phone number after messaging them and telling them that this was my first order and I would NEVER order from them again! EACH SHEET WAS 30 bucks plus shipping with came to about 74.00! I did speak to a customer service rep at about 4:15 PM after receiving the sheets just today. I was told to take a picture of the sheets, send them to her (her name is Isabel). Not only were they the WRONG items ordered, BUT they had threads hanging off of them--really poor quality, though pretty. Isabel said she would "contact the seller" and email me back. I'll follow up with this if and when I either get a replacement with the same ones I originally ordered, OR a refund.
I have listed a few deals on Groopdealz 2015/2016 and have always had problems when it comes time for them to pay me. First, I have to beg for my payment. Second, they lie and say they have contacted their "accounting department" and I will receive my payment shortly and they understand my frustration... Uh huh, right. Literally months go by before I remember to contact them again, normally resulting in a payment. This is just bad business ethics and they obviously don't care about their sellers, the ones who actually bring in the money! Although, I have noticed that 98% of items listed are from one vendor... Gee I wonder who it could be. This last deal was the final straw as I am currently battling to get my payment. It's my third attempt to collect and now they are just ignoring me. Please contact me if you are owed a payment and are interested in filing a class action lawsuit.
They have some cute items and their marketing is great, but for customers their shipping is RIDICULOUSLY overpriced. I mean c'mon for a pair of rayon (ie: super thin/lightweight shorts) they want $3.99 for the first item and 1.99 each one after...(They can literally ship for a buck they are so lightweight!) I don't buy from them any more.
I have sold on Groopdealz aka eleventh avenue for years. I have recently parted ways when time and time again they prove to be untrustworthy. They do NOT value their sellers, even if you've been with them for years. Payment is ALWAYS late and frequently you have to ask them to correct an incorrect payment. The time it takes to receive payment and review if it is correct is not worth it. In a sad attempt clean up their reputation, Groopdealz has started granting refunds for any purchase in question. Of course these refunds are taken from the vendors, Groopdealz keeps their commission. Any troll looking to get a freebie from a small business can contact Groopdealz, make a fuss and GD will issue a refund at the sellers expense. It does not matter if you can verify that the item was shipped and delivered, GD will still issue a refund. When a customer returns an item (for any reason) They are granted a full refund (that is taken out of the sellers account. This means EACH and EVERY time a customer makes a return, you as the seller lose the costs you paid to ship the item, the commission you paid to groopdealz on the sale of the item & potentially the cost of the product. There are way better sites to sell with.
I ordered 2 toddlers winter hats. Bright red with white accents around the face. They came wrapped in a cheap cellophane bag crammed into a very, very small mailer. Not a single tag or any type of info on the material was in English. Everything was in Korean. Irritating, but I could have gotten past that if the hats had not been so shoddy looking. They were misshapen from being crammed in a too small bag but even worse was that they were dingy and the white was stained and dirty. I sent an email to the merchant... Mommy's Little Sunshine, but received absolutely no response from them. Same with Groupdealz. I realize I did not pay a whole lot for the hats, but that is the point of Grouodealz, is it not? Good quality products at a great price. Not from Groupdealz and certainly not from Mommy's Little Sunshine! I will probably just toss these in the trash. So disappointed! Beware... Mommy's Little Sunshine sells dirty cheap products!
I have worked with Groopdeals for the past two years with on going problems. They have lied to my face many time, taken longer to pay me then promised. I no longer work with them and wish I would have stopped working with them long ago. They are the very shady.
They are are completely inconsistent about what they want for deals and what they want their site to be. They want you to offer a large number of items for each sale and then refuse to pay you within MONTHS of the agreed upon terms. I have had to BEG for my money with calls and emails every single time. I am finally giving up. Not worth it. Additionally, the refund policy they have for customers is a complete joke. A customer placed multiple orders in a row from me and then complained later about the product and they refunded her and let her keep the product. Having sold 1000s of this item, I am shocked this person received 4 identical things and had a problem. And then came back to do it again. Ridiculous.
I have waited every single time I've run a deal. It took them 5 months to pay $1100. 00 and now I'm waiting again for two more deals to be paid that are over 30 days. Just sent a request this morning, I bet they will pay later today, no surprise! I will not sell with them any longer.
I did a sale with Eleventh Ave in July and did not get paid until November! The other people on here are telling the truth. The difference for me is that I only had to call twice but as far as im concerned it was once to many. As for deals. I called in and left several messages with the vendor specialist about deals that were rejected with no responses. Its funny how they are always in meetings (smug bastards) but before you think that I'm some jaded vendor with unwanted products please know that I went with Jane.com and have sold and made thousands! My customers are always happy and so am I. Jane allows me to run my business. They don't dictate how I do it through there price adjusting deal coordinators. Eleventh Ave has poor communication. If they pull there heads out of there asses they would do well to listen to even its most jaded vendors and customers. Go out, have a drink, and cry... come back in Monday morning ready to REALLY FIX what's wrong in the company top to bottom. Its a pretty little website but the company seems very self-absorbed to pay attention to whats wrong for its customers and vendors.
1. Customer service B to B and B to C
2. Payments to vendors needs to be better streamlined
3. Backend vendor deal proposals and vendor portal could be better as well. (lower priority)
Ordered from Eleventh Ave on 8/28/15. Money was deducted from by checking account immediately. Inquired into tracking of shipped product on usps.com and only a shipping label had been printed. Inquired via email on 9/11/15 and haven't heard anything from them so far. Don't know if I will ever get what I ordered. Terrible, terrible customer service.
DO NOT SELL WITH THIS COMPANY! I have had the same horrible payment problems as other vendors who reviewed groopdealz. On my latest two deals, three months had gone by before I received any payments from. I had to contact their support in order to get paid. Once I had contact them, I learned that they refunded several customers which went against my fine print return policy. They do not abide by your fine print as a seller and do not require customers to provide proof of their claims or return the item. I lost the entire cost of the items refunded, plus the shipping costs. The customer claims were absurd and could have easily been cleared up had the groopdealz customer support contacted me to discuss the issue. Further, I was informed that if a customer requests a refund they are required to immediately process that refund, no questions asked, and without requiring the customer to return the product. With this policy, customers could order anything they want from the site, request a refund for the product plus shipping, and keep the product. I am appalled at their lack of support for their sellers/vendors. They do not care about protecting the integrity of your product whatsoever. I URGE anyone who is considering to sell with them to NOT DO IT!
If you're a vendor STAY AWAY from this company. They do not pay according to contract. There are so many sites out there that have much better policies in the first place regarding payment times and this one while they take the longest to pay according to contract they DEFINITELY take the longest to pay because they don't follow their payment schedule. I have had to send MULTIPLE emails to the accounting department (98% of which are ignored and I get no response from) and the Support team which I have been told to contact regarding this issue has no way of helping. I have been waiting for upwards of 10 business days on some deals for payments to be made and they are only made after my MANY emails. As a seller you should NOT have to beg to be paid. My customers have received their orders LONG before I actually have received any money. Today I was told my support that if I felt like I needed to leave the company that was my choice. Oh boy what a way to retain business. THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE. STAY AWAY!
Groopdealz is simply not paying vendors any longer. DO NOT sell with Groopdealz/Eleventh Ave. They owe me quite a bit of money for products shipped months ago. So to all vendors and customer you have been warned. Their doors will eventually close because of their shady ways.
Answer: Harrison owes us more than 70K. It has been almost a year. We have tried to negotiate with him and he always delays whatever we have agreed on! He is not going to pay any vendor. I bet they will go bankruptcy soon. We are suing him this month.
