Small business owner-- take your business else where. They never pay on time. I've been waiting for over 60 plus days for a payment. I was patient for a year with "all their changes" but the line has to be drawn. Their reputation will undoubtedly follow them until they are no longer around.
DO NOT sell with the company. Like with all the previous posts below me! They do not pay sellers on time. You have to beg/plead/ and get nasty with your emails to them in order to get paid. I am still owed for items I shipped to their customers 2 months ago. HORRID company. No vender should have to beg for their money! I refuse to sell with them any more. I've kept a spreadsheet of all my deals and what they have and have no paid me for. I betcha they get away with not paying a lot of vendors who simply just don't pay attention to what they've been compensated for and haven't. GroopDealz PLEASE shut down your website and get your act together.
I've been a seller for almost a year now. Not sure why I kept selling them. I spend more time trying to get paid then what I actually make. They never pay on time and your always having to email gazillion times before you can get a payment. Sellers STAY AWAY! You've been warned.
I have run 3 deals with this site and had to chase down payment every time. Took over 3 months to finally get payment only when I called directly and still got excuse after excuse why they didn't pay on time. Catherine in accounting loves to give excuses and extremely unprofessional. I don't know how on earth this company is still in business. Very sad to treat sellers this way when we try so hard to build a reputable business and then deal with a shady business like GroopDealz also known as 11th Avenue.
I don't know why but for some reason the thrill of a deal has made me continue ordering from groopdealz / 11th Avenue and I have YET to have an order go smoothly. I've had wrong sizes, missing items and twice I've been sent an order that had nothing to do with my ACTUAL order! I'm officially done. Worst site ever.
I've ran several deals with GroopDealz/Eleventh Avenue and I feel like I'm constantly trying to get ahold of their accounting department to find out when to expect payment for deals. It's ridiculous that I've never received even one response to any of my many e-mails to their accounting department. There are much better options out there for sellers. Companies who actually respect their vendors and pay them on time. Waiting 2-3 months for payment is just insane.
I sell on eleventh avenue as well and before March 2015 (when they were strictly groopdealz), I was getting completely paid off in 30 days. It's now June and I'm still waiting on payments from March AND I've emailed them multiple times many departments. Not happy either.
UPDATE: in January 2016 was apologized to and promised that things would get better as they have had a change of personnel. Asked me many times to list items, they told me specific items they wanted me to list, many of them were declined or they ask me to get more inventory, I purchased the inventory and those were declined, which made me extremely mad because I purchased more inventory just for their deal only for them to decline it anyway. Then of course my favorite, every deal they negotiate the price down 25% for either the item or shipping, if I don't fold, they decline the item even though most of those items have been listed before (many times they requested me to list the item again). The products that were accepted in January listed just fine, however, it's mid March 2016 and still haven't gotten payment from deals that ran in January 2016. They also change their reporting system, so now I cannot see the commission they took, they keep that hidden now and I have to approximate what it is and if it's wrong I can't do anything about it. I still have a few outstanding payments from 2015 that haven't been paid but no communication from groopdealz about it, including shipping payments. Still a terrible company. I don't know why I thought it would get better. I'd rather not sell then be out the money for inventory and shipping. They expect a lot from their sellers with nothing in return.
Placed an order on June 11 for Father's Day. Took over 1 week for order to be confirmed and shipped to USPS. Needless to say won't get it by Father's Day... If ever. I never leave reviews... but I am beyond disappointed that I need to warn anyone else. Run, don't walk... run away from groupdealz.
I work with a number of discount sites to run specials on my products. Typically I have a pretty good response. I had plenty of orders through GroupDealz/Eleventh Avenue, the problem is payment. They do not follow through with their statement payment schedule. I have to e-mail them constantly to try and get paid. Right now I have reached out to them three times with no response about the money that is owed. Still have not been paid. There is still an deal I haven't even received shipping on. I would not work with this site again.
They seem to want to cater to sellers who buy cheap items and sell them at cheap profits! If you hand make your items they don't want you to make a profit off off it they take a 30% profit and try to get you to agree to bottom basement prices that hardly cover the cost never mind the labor and when you finally agree on an item for sale you have to call over and over to get a payment. Accounting is always short staffed and the others are always in meetings or out of the office. The sales are limited I submitted the same items elsewhere and did MUCH better.
I'd give them negative stars if it was an option. This is my second time ordering (the first time I chalked not getting my order up to be just a simple error (so I thought I'd try again) the second time Again did not get what I ordered and months went by before I got a refund. I almost had to file with my credit card company to get the refund because my order never came and they would consider that fraud.
I placed an order January 2015 and have still not received it. Contracted customer service and was told they would give the seller 48 hours to respond with an update of the package, 3 days goes by and no answer from the seller or groopdealz customer service (Shelby). I then sent another email requesting a refund since it had been over 3 months since placing the order and expected delivery and no product, then received a response from an Allison with groopdealz that she was giving the seller another 48 hours to respond. I had to contact groopdealz with another email because no responds from the seller or follow up from groopdealz. I was then told that Allison shows it was deliver to a post office in another city than where I live and show no other activity and that I should contact them. What customer service is that, I see that it was not delivered to you and now it's on you to contact a post office and find it( also a tracking number wasn't provided to me)
I had to respond yet again and state I need a refund. I was told yet again from Allison that I need to contact the post office because they need me to actually return the merchandise to get a refund. BEYOND RIDICULOUS!
Had to respond yet again and requested a manager. After two day I get a response from Allison not a manager, again no help and that her manager supposedly agreed with her.
Have made many purchases from them in the past, WILL NOT BE USING THEM AGAIN OR REFER THEM TO ANYONE!
I ordered several items from this site and have received majority of order except the last shirt I ordered. I spent $20 on a shirt I never received! It has been well over a month around and they are giving me the run around they even cleared my order history so it is like it never happened but I have my order number still it has to still be on file somewhere! I will never order anything else from this site.
I think the intentions of this website are well meaning, but it's kind of a disaster. I've had three transactions with the website & two of them were really bad. The first time I was sent a product that was not what was advertised. When I contacted them, they suggested I contact the seller directly. The seller (www.TaraLynnsBoutique.com) was angry, aggressive & rude. To be fair, Groopdealz/Eleventh Avenue refunded me the money & were apologetic for the seller's behavior, but it was still an awful transaction. I'm still waiting for my purchase for my 3rd transaction to arrive. It was supposed to ship almost a week ago, and it doesn't seem like Groopdealz/Eleventh Avenue knows what's going on on the seller's end.
I love Groopdealz! I have ordered for a few years and as a vendor I have ran 2 deals. I love the products they offer and the prices! I tell all my friends about Groopdealz and am a happy customer.
Shop on groopdealz all the time. Fantastic deals. I purchased a necklace in december and i had a problem with the vendor shipping the wrong item. I contacted GD customer service and they immediately issued me a refund and contacted the shop. I received my original order a few weeks later. I wrote GD back and told them I had received my correct necklace and they told me to keep my refund as well! I couldn't believe it! Customer for life.
I also have had problems with this site! :( Never recieved my last item and they said it was delivered! I have gotten some cute stuff from there but its so frustrating to pay for something and never get it! I really dont think I would recommend this site it is very tempting though...
I will no longer purchase items from this site. I ordered a necklace from J Bella 9 months ago and never received it or the refund i was promised. I also just placed an order with Simply Reese and again, have not received the item or a response back to my messages on its expected delivery date.
Please don't be fooled by their pretty little website. It takes forever to get your order or it just might not come at all. I ordered something in May and still have yet to receive it. After sending 2 emails to the vendor, trying to "chat" online with customer service, and having to call groopdealz... still NO answer and even worse, no apology! Its really not a hard concept.
Nice website, great idea but poor customer service. No way to run a businees. And, they just lost a customer and many potential customers. Shame!
I like the product but something seems sketch about the company. Don't expect to get a shipment from them without emailing them asking wth where is my stuff. I've order quite a few times and it has taken a month or longer to receive my order. This is only after emailing and bugging them about a refund.
Answer: Harrison owes us more than 70K. It has been almost a year. We have tried to negotiate with him and he always delays whatever we have agreed on! He is not going to pay any vendor. I bet they will go bankruptcy soon. We are suing him this month.
