Patient service on arrival at the office early in the morning off a long haul flight was much appreciated. I drove off in a brand new car which I enjoyed driving and was sad to leave it to leave on another early flight 4 weeks later. Courtesy bus from the terminal frequent and fast. I'll be using GreenMotion again.

Transaction was easy from booking, to picking up the car and returning the car.
Only issue was that the booked model wasn't available so was offered a slightly smaller model.
Not really a problem.
Have used Green Motion a few times over the years and haven't had any issues.
Service and price have been good.

The larger car would have been better but the replacement was acceptable.

The operator was in place with the car five minutes after I called him, very gentle and polite and with a good english, the car was more than expected and more than paid with low mileage, the paperwork took a few minutes, car inspection was as in description, I presented my credit card for deposit and I was on the road in about ten to fifteen minutes. I appreciated at the return of the car they returned the deposit in about 4 hours, in the same currency, so no conversio loses. Overall nice experience.

I have been refused in the car because I do not use credit card. Other companies, were happy to take deposit from my foreigner card, and I was pleasantly served and got the car within 10 mins. However nor staff was friendly, nor options were offered, ı was advise we can't give you the car due to our policy.

My flight was late and I wasn't able to get out of the airport till 23:00 o'clock. The guys at Green Motion waited for me to hand over the car and it was a very smooth process. Even during the return, they have assigned someone to take me back to the airport. It was a really good experiance.

It was a really good experience with a very good price. My flight was 2 hours late, and the guys waited for me till 23:00. It was a really kind thing to do, I totally appreciate that. The return was very smooth as well with no issue. I will definitely use GM again.
Answer: DON'T do it. They advertise low and sting you at the counter! Clerks hard sell additional insurance (they get a commission). In Glasgow, Scotland this last August, they tried to get me to pay $800 in insurance to cover a ten day rental that was about $35 a day! Many people have posted about scams where they charged unsuspecting customers for "damages" that were already on the car but the customer may not notice, like a tiny chip in the windshield or a small scratch on the door edge.
Answer: Speeding/parking tickets and police action are slow. They keep the deposit until they are sure there will be no problems with any of those costs. (and yeah, would be speeding fine + massive green motion fee).

I can confirm that security deposits are automatically released by Green Motion on the last day of your rental after it has been established that the rental vehicle has been returned in the same condition as it was provided, and there are no further outstanding charges. Whilst in most cases this is available again within 10 working days, unfortunately, this can take up to 30 days depending on the bank that you use. We suggest that you contact your bank as they may be able to speed this process up for you. Green Motion's policy is to use pre-authorised transactions for our security deposits, which ring-fence the amount within your account, not charge it. This pre-authorised transaction will allow us to make charges if necessary at the end of the rental, but unless this occurs no money will leave your account. Due to the nature of this transaction, the release of these funds may not show on your bank statement as a separate transaction. If you believe that you have been charged your security deposit, please contact your bank and ask them to provide proof of the transaction as a charge on the first day of your rental so that we can look further into this for you. If this amount is still not available in your account after 30 days from the last day of your rental, please contact us at [email protected]. Answer: I believe Green Motion are a perfectly fair and respectful company. I suspect you didn't read their Ts&Cs properly. The two customers being served while I was collecting my car had also not read/understood the conditions and were caught by surprise. The representative dealt with them firmly but fairly.
