After arriving at London Stansstad Airport, a bus took us to the Novo Hotel, right next door is the rental station greenmotion. The employee was very friendly and helpful, so the vehicle handover was quite fast. Knowledge of English is definitely an advantage. It was also not possible to send the registration online, because the system did not accept the German driver's license. (expiration date) and I could not register from home. When I returned it, it went very quickly because I was fulUrlaub Schottlandly insured. The return trip to the airport by bus from the Novo Hotel went smoothly

Airport shuttle was easy to find. Processing at the depot took a bit longer, but was still acceptable. Received a vehicle one category higher than booked, it had done nearly 50.000 km, but was still in good condition. Existing defects were recorded in detail. Return was uncomplicated.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Good service, good price, will use them again.

This is the kind of company that gives rental agency's a bad name. Phrases like "read the small print", "no refunds " passed the lips of a nonchalant representative. Probably the worst customer experience I have had in years. Luckily I was in a position to walk out / after an attempt to try and charge me almost an extra £200. I will never be back and will encourage others to do the same. There is no need to use green lotion there are many better and cheaper companies around.

My rental experience with GreenMotion was overall a positive one. The person assisting me (Luca) was very helpful and didn't try to push any extras as some other companies do. The car was in very good condition and the collection and drop off sufficiently quick. The information provided by the staff was very useful. Overall, I would rent from this company again.

My experience picking up and dropping off the car was very good. Quick, efficient, and professional.
Location is at a very popular airport parking lot and structure. They are located inside the covered parking.
You take the parking shuttle and will be dropped off right in front of Green Motions office (currently a new trailer). Give yourself a little extra time since covered parking is the last stop. Their pricing is worth the little extra time. I had a nice clean car.

Both collection and return went very smoothly. The car was in a great condition and the person dealing with me very friendly. Overall a very positive experience.
Car was clean and comfortable. No trouble in either picking it up or giving it back. All went smoothly. The only thing one has to watch is that the Hoppa Bus runs once an hour for a lot of the day - so, depending on your flights etc. - be ready to have a bit of a wait.

Answer: DON'T do it. They advertise low and sting you at the counter! Clerks hard sell additional insurance (they get a commission). In Glasgow, Scotland this last August, they tried to get me to pay $800 in insurance to cover a ten day rental that was about $35 a day! Many people have posted about scams where they charged unsuspecting customers for "damages" that were already on the car but the customer may not notice, like a tiny chip in the windshield or a small scratch on the door edge.
Answer: Speeding/parking tickets and police action are slow. They keep the deposit until they are sure there will be no problems with any of those costs. (and yeah, would be speeding fine + massive green motion fee).

I can confirm that security deposits are automatically released by Green Motion on the last day of your rental after it has been established that the rental vehicle has been returned in the same condition as it was provided, and there are no further outstanding charges. Whilst in most cases this is available again within 10 working days, unfortunately, this can take up to 30 days depending on the bank that you use. We suggest that you contact your bank as they may be able to speed this process up for you. Green Motion's policy is to use pre-authorised transactions for our security deposits, which ring-fence the amount within your account, not charge it. This pre-authorised transaction will allow us to make charges if necessary at the end of the rental, but unless this occurs no money will leave your account. Due to the nature of this transaction, the release of these funds may not show on your bank statement as a separate transaction. If you believe that you have been charged your security deposit, please contact your bank and ask them to provide proof of the transaction as a charge on the first day of your rental so that we can look further into this for you. If this amount is still not available in your account after 30 days from the last day of your rental, please contact us at [email protected]. Answer: I believe Green Motion are a perfectly fair and respectful company. I suspect you didn't read their Ts&Cs properly. The two customers being served while I was collecting my car had also not read/understood the conditions and were caught by surprise. The representative dealt with them firmly but fairly.
