Always punctual at pick up and drop off,and always do their best to get you on your way as quickly as possible.
Really good, welcoming staff. Paul, the driver was very courteous and helpful. Ritz was professional and although needed to try the extra insurance sell, stopped as soon as I explained my position. No hard sell at all! The car itself was not presented too well, quite dirty, washer bottle empty. The staff were the highlight but the whole experience was generally good

Ritz the consultant and Paul the driver both courteous and professional, 5 star plus. Car was mechanically sound but was dirty outside and very dusty etc inside. Windscreen wash bottle was empty on collection. Overall a good experience!

I booked my car 3 months in advance of my holiday, I then tried to renew my 12 month car policy that covers any damage excess if you have an accident, to find that many companies would not accept Green Motion car hire.
Did more investigation to find that a lot of customer reviews were very poor and some of the customers had awful service.
I queued to collect my car and it wasn't the staff but the customers who hadn't read the small print and didn't want to give credit card details.
When I spoke to the member of staff she was harassed but very professional.
The man that issued my car was excellent, I told him that I had read about added charges on return & I would not accept unless I had caused damage. His reply, we don't do that here. It was dark & I couldn't see the car clearly, with my phone light on I went over the car picking out scratches & dents, there were a lot. I was also told that I should take a video in the daylight the next morning, this I did.
On return I had the same man who went over the car & he was happy.
I got him to sign my receipt.
The service that I received was excellent & will use Green Motion again for my holiday next year!

4 customers in front of us, first customer did not want to give credit card details, states clearly that this has to be given in contract. I was getting very frustrated listening to the conversation going nowhere.
Only 2 members of staff who were both exceptional.
Had rain & wipers were useless, need to be checked.
Return was painless, lots of pictures & video taken on pickup & again in daylight the following day.
Would like to have had a signature or piece of paper to confirm but handshake; I hope was good enough.
Rent a car quick and easy,there is not much to say, you simply book your rent a car and enjoy the freedom of your desired destination

The staff were very courteous and helpful. Their hours of services need to be more in my opinion. They are operating 8 AM to 8 PM.

All in all, everything went totally ok. One little thing: Before we were handed the car keys, we were talked into an extra insurance. We would have appreciated it more if it had been mentioned in the online booking process. Just saying.

I booked a Fiesta online from the UK. On collection, I was shown how to use the car, checked over any scratches beforehand with the assistant, and asked to bring the car back with half a tank of petrol. Car was in good condition, almost brand new - very pleased with it. Easy return too

Picking up the car was a little slow as the guy in front of us was a very difficult customer for staff to deal with and so it was a long wait. Finally another staff member came inside and helped us. He was so helpful and friendly and Explained everything thoroughly. We were impressed that We were able to drop our car off at another office too. The drop off process really quick and easy.

The new office is nice and accessible and the service there is excellent. We waited too long at the airport for the shuttle bus to the office, though - that was a bit of a setback. The car was great and returning it was also quick and easy.

Answer: DON'T do it. They advertise low and sting you at the counter! Clerks hard sell additional insurance (they get a commission). In Glasgow, Scotland this last August, they tried to get me to pay $800 in insurance to cover a ten day rental that was about $35 a day! Many people have posted about scams where they charged unsuspecting customers for "damages" that were already on the car but the customer may not notice, like a tiny chip in the windshield or a small scratch on the door edge.
Answer: Speeding/parking tickets and police action are slow. They keep the deposit until they are sure there will be no problems with any of those costs. (and yeah, would be speeding fine + massive green motion fee).

I can confirm that security deposits are automatically released by Green Motion on the last day of your rental after it has been established that the rental vehicle has been returned in the same condition as it was provided, and there are no further outstanding charges. Whilst in most cases this is available again within 10 working days, unfortunately, this can take up to 30 days depending on the bank that you use. We suggest that you contact your bank as they may be able to speed this process up for you. Green Motion's policy is to use pre-authorised transactions for our security deposits, which ring-fence the amount within your account, not charge it. This pre-authorised transaction will allow us to make charges if necessary at the end of the rental, but unless this occurs no money will leave your account. Due to the nature of this transaction, the release of these funds may not show on your bank statement as a separate transaction. If you believe that you have been charged your security deposit, please contact your bank and ask them to provide proof of the transaction as a charge on the first day of your rental so that we can look further into this for you. If this amount is still not available in your account after 30 days from the last day of your rental, please contact us at [email protected]. Answer: I believe Green Motion are a perfectly fair and respectful company. I suspect you didn't read their Ts&Cs properly. The two customers being served while I was collecting my car had also not read/understood the conditions and were caught by surprise. The representative dealt with them firmly but fairly.
Answer: They are robbers and scammers, never think to rent a car from green motion, they will charge you thousands of euros, instead buy a new car
