Great value with great service. Only downside is it would be a bit of a hassle if you were hoping for an airport location. They do take you and pick you up from the airport shuttle/train.

We were very happy with our car. Waiting for the keys was lengthy after our long journey into Rov, finland but couldn't be helped.
Car great and just as described, price was good.
We dropped keys off and we had our refund from credit card with email as we arrived back to the UK.

3rd time I've used Greenmotion recently & each time has been excellent. The cars are clean & new. Prices are great. I had to extend a booking which was easy (1 email). No pressure for CDW insurance and no hard sell. I will use Greenmotion before I use other hire firms.

Excellent service from the KITTILA team. We was on the late flight in from Helsinki which was delayed. Concerned the car hire would be closed when we arrived but the young girl there had stayed late and waited for us to arrive and she couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you

The pick up driver was prompt, friendly and helpful on a cold dark and wet night. Mohammad at reception was the best salesman selling me an upgrade and insurance which I normally reject. He insisted that I take photos for my own piece of mind and upon vehicle return these were accepted as evidence of prior very minor damage. Return was friendly, easy and prompt with another friendly and helpful driver. The service more than compensates for the small inconvenience of being off site.

Efficient and smooth with a great attitude to customer service by both collect drivers to and from the terminal and the desk staff on duty at both start and return of hire.
Everything went great. Check-out was a breeze, and the gentleman working the counter was very informative and kind. Check-in was as simple as it gets. They had a drop box right inside the train station. Will gladly use GreeMotion in the future.

I can confirm that security deposits are automatically released by Green Motion on the last day of your rental after it has been established that the rental vehicle has been returned in the same condition as it was provided, and there are no further outstanding charges.
Please visit https://greenmotion.com/terms and select the country you rented from to see the deposit information which will advise the general timeframe that you can expect for the release of the deposit.
Whilst in most cases this is available again within 10 working days, unfortunately, this can take up to 30 days depending on the bank that you use. We suggest that you contact your bank as they may be able to speed this process up for you.
Green Motion's policy is to use pre-authorised transactions for our security deposits, which ring-fence the amount within your account, not charge it. This pre-authorised transaction will allow us to make charges if necessary at the end of the rental, but unless this occurs no money will leave your account. Due to the nature of this transaction, the release of these funds may not show on your bank statement as a separate transaction. If you believe that you have been charged your security deposit, please contact your bank and ask them to provide proof of the transaction as a charge on the first day of your rental so that we can look further into this for you.

We had to pay extra to drop off before 8.00 am, as not at airport couldn't leave. Would possibly be the same for evening flights, extra charge for out of hours drop off. Partially my fault as put flight time by mistake for drop off. Rather than 2 hours before and didn't realise they weren't based at the airport but 15 minutes away still quite a good price even with extra 50

Answer: DON'T do it. They advertise low and sting you at the counter! Clerks hard sell additional insurance (they get a commission). In Glasgow, Scotland this last August, they tried to get me to pay $800 in insurance to cover a ten day rental that was about $35 a day! Many people have posted about scams where they charged unsuspecting customers for "damages" that were already on the car but the customer may not notice, like a tiny chip in the windshield or a small scratch on the door edge.
Answer: Speeding/parking tickets and police action are slow. They keep the deposit until they are sure there will be no problems with any of those costs. (and yeah, would be speeding fine + massive green motion fee).

Answer: I believe Green Motion are a perfectly fair and respectful company. I suspect you didn't read their Ts&Cs properly. The two customers being served while I was collecting my car had also not read/understood the conditions and were caught by surprise. The representative dealt with them firmly but fairly.
