Bought a transmission and had it shipped, got transmission installed and doesn't work. Install by a reputable garage. Called Scott in warranty and he is rude. Sent all the paper work requests in they decided to send another transmission. 3 weeks go by I hear nothing. Then i called and was told a request for an update will be sent. 2 more weeks go by and nothing. Called again and got the same response and Scott just hung up on me. Told me he doesn't have a boss he is the boss.

Transmission came with damaged throttle cable and could not be installed. I called and was hung up on. I eventually ended up taking it to a shop to see about installing a new one (one end of the cable connects to the car and the other originates inside the transmission). When they opened up the transmission, they found parts of the valve body missing and several components were burnt and damaged including the case itself. Got Transmissions claimed that the unit was inspected, but there is no way this could be true.
I began a charge back with my credit card company (Capital One), but Got Transmissions countered. After a lot of jumping through hoops, gathering testimonies and faxing off info. Capital One denied my claim. They apparently have no desire to counteract fraud.
I am out $695.00, hours and hours of my time and energy and eventually had to give up on my little Corolla. Federal Trade Commission, BBB and any legit class action lawsuits here I come.

Terrible terrible terrible transmisson was due apr 5 called they said would return my call after checking with shipper waited a day called shipper myself said transmisson was returned called them they said it was lost could ship again how is it lost but you still have it? Asked for refund remind you it's been a month since origional purchase date said there would be a 25% restocking fee on something that never left. Was a terrible experience being transferred from tracking to warranty to sales over and over... I finally had to go to bank to get my money back..

Junk RIP-off

Bought a tranny suppose to have only ******* miles should of known better. Less then ******* miles later it's done and saying they will not over warranty. So 1900. 00 later truck is now going back in shop and getting original one rebuilt for 2800. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

Total rip off. You better hope they send you a working tranny because you will only get a fraction of what it costs to uninstall the bad one and install the 2nd one! Zero stars is still too many... stay clear!

This review is way overdue. Bought a 42re for my 96 gr cher larado in dec 2014. Delivered directly to my selected shop in Boyertown PA, installed for an all in cost of $1600. 4 years later the tranny runs perfect. Fluid is fresh and clean. Communications could have been a little better but the product sold to me was top notch. Would recommend without hesitation.

Beware, these guys are lialialiarliars N thieves.
They will hang up the phone on you if they do not have an answer to your question.
Rude and abrupt, when put on the spot. TOTAL RIP OFF.

I was on the phone with the rep (Josh i think), he gave me a quote of $1850. 00 for a used transmission. I tried to ask questions about the product and he just hung up. Very poor service. I will not be calling back.

Scammed out of $1200

They knowingly sent us a bad transmission. They sent us another one after waiting over 2 weeks and the hassle of emailing and faxing paperwork from our mechanic that it was a bad transmission. I think we have a good transmission now. But when we sent them the bill for the labor and parts for the reinstall as advertised. They sent us only $335 out of our $1500 bill. They said their 100% warranty and customer satisfaction had a fine print of $50 an hour for labor and a maximum time for installation of 6 1/2 hours. That is just bad business practice, They should pay for the whole amount, we installed the transmission on good faith that the part was inspected, clean, and properly working as advertised. We wouldn't have the extra $1500 expense and my daughter wouldn't of been without her car for 4 weeks. I guess we should be thankful we received a working transmission at all. Other customers never received working parts and lost their money.

They sent me a piece that is supposed to be a ******* mile trans looks worse than the one I am replacing what a joke. I guess I'll put it in and hope, but will probably be wasting my time they didn't even bother to plug any holes so I'm sure it's full of dirt. This place is a total joke save your money and buy at your local junkyard.

I feel that even one star is more than this company is worth. They took $585 dollars from me and no transmission was going to be delivered. I called and ask for my money back and they refuse to answer my phone calls or emails. My next stop is the BBB and a attorney. How can a company that is closed up continue to sell false products? WATCH YOUR SIX, BAD BAD COMPANY!

These people are ripoff and con artists! Why have they not been arrested for fraud and more? How is it possible they are still in business? How are they allowed to deposit the money they stole from everyone in their bank? These reviews date back to 2015! How is this possible? No one has stopped them! They are criminals! What kind of country do we live in that allows these theives to operate? Their business location says "permanently closed"! The guy I talked to, Dale, is in Wisconsin and it shows on my bank statement that my money went into his bank account in Wisconsin! Every time I try to call "their office" I get hung up on and/or yelled at! They are all extremely rude, including Dale! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS!

THESE PEOPLE ARE ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! THEY TOLD ME THAT THEIR TRANSMISSION IS WARRANTY FOR 12/12.******* MILES OR 12 MONTHS PARTS AND LABOR. SO TURNS OUT THE ONE I GOT FROM THEM IS BAD NOW IT'S BACK TO THE SHOP AND THEY WARRANTY THE PART AND NOT LABOR. AND THEY HUNG UP ON ME! DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE!

NO NO NO, DONT DEAL WITH THESE FOLKS PERIOD,,,,, unless you enjoy being played, i ordered trans last month,,, for a friend, so when i tried to call for a reply as to where is the trans,, i only get voice mail, S they set voice mail stating the same thing {we will send trans and tracking number} its not here as of today. HELP?... CAN ANY BODY HELP!

RUDE CROOKED SCAMMERS

Wish I had came to this site first. I hope this helps someone else. DON'T buy anything frome this company. They sent transmission to wrong address then had it returned to them. They took out $940.00 from my account. After getting hung up on several times and left messages that have not been returned they send an email with restocking fees and two shipping fees which are around $200 a piece they say they are putting around $200 back in my account. I am not done with these jerks. Attorney generals in whatever state I have to contact are hearing from me plus my bank will deal with them. BAD BAD BAD company if they are even real. They also put my info on the website saying I was a happy customer.

I called the BBB this place is no gas please do not send your money I repeat it's a scam this bussiness been out of bussiness do your research and I contacted the police I suggest anybody who have fell victim to this company do the same. Go to IC3.gov

I ordered a transmission for my son's 2001 Acura CL type s. After I ordered it I read reviews. This raised a red flag. I emailed wanting to cancel but was told there would be a restocking fee. This was in the agreement so I decided to leave it be. Shipping was within the time given. Transmission was installed by the Acura dealer. Everything checked out, the transmission shifts smoothly and does appear to be within the stated mileage according to the tech who did the work. At this point I can't complain. These transmissions are known to have problems. I plan on doing a fluid change as recommended yearly by the dealer. Just to be clear, I'll have the dealer do that also. As for now, I have no issues with got transmissions. Joe

The Dealer did say the handling in shipping was rough but nothing was broken, dip stick was bent but all is well. This is no fault of GT

This company is full of poop when it comes to the warranty. I only put 348 miles on the Transmisson I ordered from these cats. Transmission started slipping, they won't replace it because I didn't put 500 miles on it. They said, the warranty starts at 501 miles. That's a bunch of poop! Don't get caught up in reading their website. Don't do it!
