I'm so livid right now whatever you do don't check-in online with gotogate. They charge you extra fees with no explanation, they have horrible support and wait time when you call. I've been in queue for almost an hour now and they charged me $150 for a $50 luggage charge. It absolutely horrendous, do not recommend for anybody ever.
This travel agency doesn't have phone... they don't answer emails... once they take the money no more communication
My booking order is LOROB6. Unable to contact them no customer service at all. Gave me credit voucher and im unable to uses it GF-ZJLWFZAY. Unable to login using the booking order and my email. Worst experience ever in my entire life. Tried to call on the no. They gave on their website which is directed to an automated message with 4 option doesnt proceed further. They are bad bad bad. Please dont book ur tickets though them. They are big cheaters
This company is horrible. I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR MY REFUND SINCE MARCH! Everytime I try to get into contact, i only receive some automated message. This company is horrible and absolutely disgusting for refusing to refund people especially during this time. Do not even book with them unless you love flushing money down the drain
Booked flights to Bali last year, flight were cancelled over six months ago and Gotogate still has not returned my money. Have been chasing them up for over six months. Their contact number does not work, they ignore written requests, and do not actually respond to my emails - it's always a generic "Dear Sir/or Madam... delays... airlines... rest assured". It's been the same messaging for months and months, which gives me the impression that this organisation is a scam. I paid for the "premium" service - imagine what the normal level of service is like. Have now got my bank involved. Clearly Gotogate is writing favourable reviews to try and keep things in balance on these sites. Will continue persisting to chase up the refund.
I feel totally scammed. My airline canceled my flight and I've been waiting four months for a refund. The refund will not include a big lump of money charged for meal service, choosing a seat, and other fees. Don't use them!
If I can rate a 0 stars or even in the negatives, I would. This company is HORRIBLE. If you work for this company and you're reading this with the idea to reach out and "make things better" DON'T. Also you should quit because you know you're working for a TERRIBLE MONEY SCHEMING PLACE. I don't want any contact from this company. I changed my flight, due to it canceling, GoToGate told me that it's not canceled on their end, I merged a call with the airlines to confirm, they confirmed and you still charged me more to change my flight AND THEN YOU NEVER BOOKED ME ON THE FLIGHT. I am LIVID. Please please please do NOT give this company money. They are a fraud and should very much be shut down.
I bought a ticket for $1100. I called them to change the dates due to COVID. After being 30 min on the line to talk to them they told me I need to pay $450 for rebooking. They are thieves without a doubt. Spread the word and show their true colour to every one.
Will never be using GOTOGATE again. They ruined my holiday on top of that said they will get my refund and charge me £30 which I agreed to then after 5 months instead of deducting £30 they took £141.06 apparently its there company policy and when I rang up to complain they said they don't take complaints over the phone. Been cheated out of my family holiday and money. My advice please stay well clear of this company
If I could give this service zero stars I would. You get a booking number and that's IT. The airline doesn't contact you to check in the day before, so you have to remember to do it yourself, and then you will realize that you were NEVER sent a confirmation number, only a booking number. You will enter your booking number because, hey, that's all you were given, and then told that this number doesn't work. You then will have to call the airline, give them all your information, and they will give you the confirmation number. And if you have to add a pet, as I did, it will not reflect in your reservation until you are at the airport, sweating, hoping you can get your pet on board. This site is AWFUL.

The man I spoke to today Raul Rao (apparently senior associate schedule change) does not know what his job description is. All he kept saying was ‘yes yes yes' and did not listen whatsoever. It's like talking to a wall or worse. A wall would probably show more empathy.
Will never use gotogate because of the constant misleading information I was being fed. Wasted my time calling and emailing.

My flight was canceled due to Covid, so I asked them to change it. Turkish Airlines told it won't cost money since it was a mistake from their side, but since I bought the ticket from GoToGate I had to pay them to manage this for me.
I've spent hours talking with them and explaining simple stuff, paying huge bills for international calls since there is no other option to contact them besides calling to their office in London. Each time they made mistakes, sent random information mixed with contact info of other people, and in the end, after all this, they still didn't solve the problem.
People that work there can't manage even very simple issues. Really poor customer service. Feels like they hire people with very limited abilities of understanding and managing very simple tasks.
I would strongly advise others against using this agent - I wish I had used a more reputable agent and would not waste my nerves, money, and time!

I bought tickets back in July where my BOOKING not the flight, was randomly canceled. The airline said the booking is gone and that they will issue Gotogate a refund. This was back in July. Now Gotogate is saying they are "working" on my refund for 4 months. I think this company is taking advantage of the pandemic and making holding onto their customer's money which the airlines are refunding. It doesn't take 4 months to get a refund even in a pandemic. Customer service is AWFUL. You can barely get ahold of them. They don't answer emails their calls have horrible connection so you can barely hear them. I waited on the phone for 2 hours before they picked up, couldn't hear at all what they were saying, and they just hung up. I will never use Gotogate ever again and you should never use them
Very bad support, Air canada refunded me and gotogate hold the money and make un logical responses. They make go in loss. They take ages to reply then they say contact your bank.

Unfortunately gotogate is the only travel provider I have had to write a poor review about in these times mainly this is in direct comparison with all other travel providers who have been nothing but excellent
I was due to fly to Romania on the 25th of July but of course as expected this was cancelled due to COVID-19 nothing gotogate or anyone could do about this factor this was cancelled on the 22nd of May, I have now been sent a generic email on the 1st and 15th of each month with absolutely no ability to communicate with anyone.
I have contacted the airline directly who have offered more information on the matter which is outrageous as gotogate are the ones who processed my payment my contract should be with then and they should communicate on my behalf.
The airline is apparently waiting on a loan form the Romania government with no time frame in place, I believe I have been more than patient but now losing my job and struggling financially gotogate are still denying my access to my funds which is illegal
I do not see why they cannot refund me the amount due as they a multi million pound company wait for the airline to issue them with their funds
I urge anyone reading this do not book with me his company at all the little bit extra it may cost to book direct is well worth it after experiences like these

Booked a flight with them last July. Our LA to MNL flight got cancelled due to Covid. They were able to process the refund for that flight. However they said they'll have to wait if our return flight MNL to LA (with a different airlines) will be cancelled too. I called a few weeks ago to ask for any updates regarding the refund of our return flight. They told me they already processed it and just waiting for the airline for the refund. It's already been 2 months and so I called them to ask again for any update, but they informed me that it is written on their system a "NO SHOW" status. How are we able to use that return ticket if we're not even in MNL during that time? The travel agency should have called the airline prior to cancel our ticket. They told me to call the airline but the airline said we cannot do the refund ourselves if we booked that flight through a travel agency. This travel agency kept on telling us that they do not have any authorization to do the cancellation or whatsoever. THIS TRAVEL AGENCY IS USELESS. THEY DO NOT WANT TO HELP YOU WHEN THERE IS A PROBLEM. ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY. A
We recently found decent price for airline tickets and booked tickets but due to covid travel issues we realized the trip was not possible... when buying tickets we had noted there was allowed cancellation within 24 hrs of purchase. Since we had purchased the tickets around midnight and it was only 9 hrs later that we called GoToGaye to advise them we needed to use the less then 24 hrs cancelation... we were now told gotogate wont cancel and we have to call each airline individually to cancel our purchase... then he tells us to get the airline authorization code and to then email that to Gotogate. When we ask to speak to supervisor the rep literally went quite and then he hung up... this place is a joke.
In December 2019 we purchased tickets to Ireland for October 2020 flying Air Portugal. We received an email stating the flight was cancelled due to COVID. Air Portugal states the flight is not cancelled. Gotogate says the refund vouchers have been submitted to the airline. My travel partners called customer service on 10/12/2020 within 5 minutes of my call. She was told that she would receive her refund to her credit card withing 45 days. I was told I would receive mine in 3 to 5 months. I will be filing complaints with every agency I can find to take the complaint.

They sell flights that cannot be held! The airline reverse the flights in away that the first flight became the second!
Having no choice we had to cancel the tickets but Gotogate does not take responsibility. They do not return the money and still charge 250 shekels cancellation fee per passenger when the responsibility is theirs!
I have booked several flights where I believe the airlines have refunded this agent. They however will not process this refund back to me. This has been going on for months now and no sign of a refund. I believe they are a dishonest organisation, not at all customer friendly and I would not recommend using this company. I would give zero stars if I could. One star seems too good for this company:-(
