Terrible. Don't trust this company. We bought tickets from LAX to London in Norwegian Air through Gotogate. Originally scheduled for March, due to the pandemic they were rescheduled for August by the air company and eventually got canceled. After several calls and emails, I still have not heard from Gotogate. Until two months ago they were sending out boiler-plate emails saying were "working hard" on it but not only they stopped but they don't even answer phone calls anymore. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS. TOTAL SCAM.

This so called agency which is in fact located in India that provides service in accordance with their local traditions, is a pure nightmare. After being on hold for nearly two hours I was told by a phone rep to hurry up since there is a lot of people waiting. The most disturbing part is that in the middle of a global pandemic they have the nerve to charge you $30 for a ticket change, not because you choose to do so, but because the airline has cancelled the flight and there is a need of rebooking. The price difference isn't much with Expadia or Orbitz, so give yourself a favor and deal with decent people. At the end of the day you will end up paying more plus wasting your nerves with these scumbags.

2 months before my scheduled trip, the airline cancelled one of the flights on my trip due to COVID. However, GotoGate never communicated this cancellation with me at all.

By complete coincidence, a week before my flight, I called customer service to see if I could make a change on my booking. Only then was I informed that my flight had actually been cancelled. If I hadn't called myself, I would be expecting to fly next week. I would probably have arrived at the airport with my luggage and only then would I have been informed that the second leg of my flights had been cancelled. It wasn't even the first leg, so even by checking scheduled airport departures from my local airport, I wouldn't have found out.

By then, it would have been too late to ask for a refund and GotoGate would have kept my money. Absolute scam.

Recently, I booked a flight ticket through GOTOGATE travel agency from Narita (Tokyo) to Ishigaki, details are mentioned below
As I have to cancel the flight ticket due to the increase of Covid-19 cases in Japan as my Wife got Pregnant and the Doctor highly recommended not to travel anywhere because of the increase of corona cases. GOTOGATE agency told me to contact the airlines directly to cancel the tickets, And as requested by the airlines, I got the doctor's certificate and submitted to the Airlines (Peach Aviation) and the airlines have agreed to pay the full refund as I have the valid reason for cancelation

I am attaching a copy of the Doctor's certificate and confirmation from Peach Aviation regarding the refund which has made, but the travel agency (GOTOGATE) is asking for the 80% deduction fee (16,200 JPY) even though the airlines have paid the amount fully (20,980 JPY) which is highly unacceptable.

I requested multiple times with the GOTOGATE but they are not agreeing to reduce the fees

Due to the coronavirus my first leg was canceled and we were (after about 10 hours on hold with this c travel agent) they released the rights of the flight to Lufthansa and Lufthansa put us on another flight to new York When we were up to taking our flight back it was canceled so we turned to the airline. They said that we are entitled to a full refund for the flights but we have to go through the travel agency. So we called the travel agency waited on hold got cut off after 3 hours and this repeated itself a few times over after a few more tries and a five hour hold we were told that they are unsure of what kind of refund we can get but we should just pay them $30 dollars a flight and they will see what they can do for us. They then lied to the bank saying that our flights flew and the charges are legit
I have a email from the airline saying that they refunded them back in June I have not heard from them
Don't make this mistake there money hungry and obnoxious you will it regret if anything happens to your flight

GOTOGATE booked ticket via a route which was not allowed destination country and airport authority declined me to board.
Return flight was also not showing in the airline itinerary but gotogate provided a confirmed ticket.
They never returned ticket cost and never cancelled all they said that it is mistake of Airline, airline people are not aware of rules.
Furthermore you need to wait minimum 30-40 minutes for single call or 1-2 days for email reply so no urgent help available.
If someone know a way I can make a complaint against them in Canada then please let me know I have all proof and call recordings.

GOTOGATE is a total scam company. I am totally disappointed and angry…. They have refunded my money back after deducting £30 for flights cancelled by Turkish Airlines for no fault of mine. What's the excuse: processing charges. I have now requested refund of the balance but there is no response. There must be some way to bring this company to court…. AVOID GOTOGATE! And its related companies. The order details had been already furnished to the company several times! Total time and money wasters! The company management hides in Sweden! This company has other similar companies like mytrip.com, supersaver, flight network etc. AVOID

Go to gate is fill with liars and thieves who will lie to you with every breath they take. We should get a lawyer and file a class action lawsuit against this scam company and shut it down. Someone stole my card information and booked a flight from indonesia and I called the company to reverse the charge and I had to spend a month with my card provider telling me to resolve with these scammers. These people only try to lie to you to waste your time and hope you give up. If someone is up for a class action lawsuit I'm definitely interested. Bury these scammers

Gotogate is a scam, I waited 7 months for my refund for the flights cancelled by the airline and apart from an automated message that the refund is pending, no communication from their side. Frustrated I claimed on my credit card and now they have come back saying the charge back is invalid because the restrictions were imposed by government and hence the flights were cancelled and since I ticked a box on their site that I accept all their terms and conditions I cannot claim on credit card. This company is not ATOL protected so they are free from all regulations. Below is from their website
