Refuse to give refund despite the airline refunded the cancelled flight to them. Offering vouchers and when using the voucher then they charged me £27 for assistance fee.

I was issued an open ticket to my returned trip when boarders of the destination closed and now being told that I can't use the voucher even though it's due to expire in Feb 2022. I have send so many messages via their web form but never received a confirmation or any response back. GoToGate is highly unlovable company. They should not be in the business as they are deceiving people and rob them. It's our hard earned money they are stealing away.
They are coming up different issues each time i speak with call centre staff. There's no email address to contact the support team behind the call centre staff as they don't travellers to contact them.
The lesson i've learnt ere is that not to trust any travel agent but book your flights direct with the airline.

Worst customer service with absolutely no info available. Response time is way too long, none if advertised phone numbs are working. Never ever I would recommend that company, who screw our booking and ruined our holiday, we never got confirmation. Request for cancellation is ignored as well. Even dispute dept of our credidt card wasn't able to get ahold of them. Worst experience ever. Do not book with that company! NO service, NO trip, money wasted - STRESS ONLY

DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THEM. When it comes to refunds, vouchers, changes to flights they will TAKE YOUR MONEY and not refund you. AUSTRALIAN PHONE IS DISCONNECTED. Emails to assist you are followed by ‘cancel via calling us'. Ring your airline. TELL THEM you have been given no other opportunity but to contact them direct because GTG has disconnected all options.
Got my credit directly from airline now. Persist!

Worst customer service
August 15, 2021

They have received the refunds for my cancelled flight for 31 March 2020 since 23 March this year from Emirates. Until now they didn't reimburse me. I called them 3 months ago. They kept me on the phone for 2 hours. I was told they had instigated the fund and I would get it within 72 hours. After 3 months still no refund. Never buy air ticket from this travel agent again. They are base in Sweden so can only complain to European ombudsman which is hopeless. So be WARN

The worst ever! Do not fall for the cheap price. I had an energency and needed to change my reservation. I was welling to pay for any additional charges. Called the airlines and was told only gotogate can make the change. Tried several times calling. Opened a ticket. No response at all!

This company is using COVID as an excuse to not help. Their website bait and switched me to different flights, and they didn't provide a refund. Assistance is very hard to find on website, and when you do find it, expect a long wait.

Unacceptable

Unacceptable, they cancelled my flight, I have to contact them to change my flight with a fee of 30$. So I call they charge me 30$ + the price of the call (50€) and also the guy hug up on me because he did understand my question, all that for what? Nothing they just toke my money and that's all. I called at least 10 times now ( redirect all the time over 2h wait and hung up on twice...) and still unable to just change my flight! I've paid over 100€ just to try and change a flight... I'm supposed to be leaving next week and they have still not sorted it. And also I call the FRENCH number (ask I'm in France) and not a single french person to speak France only English! Lucky I'm fluent...

DO NOT USE GOTOGATE THEY WILL RIPE YOU OFF!

Impossible to reach them by phone or by email. Impossible also to get a refund the credit card company sided with them even though I provided Covid documents! Stay away at all cost! This company is also called mytrip.com

A message to GOTO GATE

A message to GOTO GATE, and i wish to have a reply, because nobody responding to my emails as well as customers service attendants are not responding to the calls.
I'm kindly requesting to update me about my refund for the Gotogate booking reference No: L8KFZD.
(air Arabia booking reference is *******). (Royal Jordanian booking reference is J824YE).
For air Arabia booking I'm the one contacted the airline and i did all refund process while there was no any interfering from Gotogate side, because your reply to me when I requested a refund was, a low cost airline you have to manage your refund, however; it's already done by myself and the air Arabia already refund the money a month ago to your account, so I'm really surprise as long as you didn't do anything you didn't do any support or help from your side, why you delay that part of refund until now!
Regarding Royal Jordanian booking also money refunded from airline on 15 July and your customer service attendant confirmed me before that as long as there will be some deductions from the tickets value, so within two weeks the money will be credited to my account, which's not happened till now!
It's 5 tickets refund not only one ticket and supposed to have some priority even if there are some delays.
I'm counting on you to push to close this matter and process the payout ASAP.

Still waiting on my flight refund for 4 passengers from 8th of may 2020! How can it take Jet2 4 days to refund me but Gotogate can't manage it in 15 months waiting for a call back from a manager but I highly doubt it will happen. Anybody know where the Uk office is based would be a great help Thankyou.

I booked a Belavia flight through Gotogate. Belavia cancelled my flight. Gotogate informed me that if I wanted to get reimbursement, I should pay them a 30 € service fee, or get a voucher. But that's not what's written in their regulations, which say I can ask the airline directly. So, I wrote to Belavia, who said they cannot accept direct reimbursement from me, as I paid Gotogate. Gotogate provided no option to getting reimbursement without paying fees. Phoning customer service is a joke: I was placed in a waiting list as no. 1043. After 45 min I was no. 1039.

Avoid gotogate as their cancellation fees are ridiculous. Allegiant charged a $30 cancellation fee and then gotogate took the rest. I should have booked directly with Allegiant and I would have gotten $60 back out of the $90 dollar flight.

Very bad customer service. I kept emailing them, and totally ignored my email. I escalated my issue to the airline directly. They told me they will contact gotogate on behalf of me, but still no replies from them. I almost give up my $2000. I will never ever book flight ticket from this website and I really regretted that I booked though them to save maybe $100. I even don't want to give one star.

It suc... a lot! I prepaid Flexi option, but when tried to do change of my flight - they're trying to hide behind emails - they're not even replying to one (except automatic message they're busy ATM). Call to them - IVR system put you in the hell queue (even during working hours) - so I didn; t survive more than of these 52mins waiting:(
I can't recommend that company.

I had bad experience with this company which is same Mytrip and got many other name and all under Etraveli management
Their way to rob the customers is offer cheap price
Then cancel the flight
Then either the customer pissed off from their pathetic customer service and leave they money
Or keep email them and call them countless times and they will keep you waiting over a year then they cut £30 from your refund as a fee for their bad customer service

Be clever avoid their trap
Avoid them at any cost
