I had an issue and emailed about it a week ago! And just now almost two weeks later I have an answer so their timeline is terrible!
Then when I finally got a response it was not addressed to my issue and instead the agent was apologizing for the delay and COVID…
They told me to call support, but but but... Have you tried calling there? When it gives you the option to choose a number and you press it, nothing happens…
I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone and I wouldn't buy anything from them never again.
The worse travel agency i ever dealt with in my entire. They are group of thieves that are basically stealing all refunds from their clients.

I booked my way back for the 6th of september and they canceled one of the two flights not even one week before the flight.
I called them at least four times and nothing happened. It's unbielivable.
How to begin. I have called multiple times trying to get a COVID ticket cancellation credit but they have no one staffing the phone lines as I am always on hold for over 2 hours and once they do answer I have literally been dropped by an agent over 50%. When they drop me do they call back? Of course not. If you try to send an e-mail instead of spending hours on hold from their site it never works all you get is an undefined error message.
After you miraculously get an agent who does not drop you they actively refuse to send any e-mail documentation on anything so there is no trail of their incompetence. This ticket is over a $1,000 so I keep trying but I feel they are basically thieves and really could care less.
Don't even consider using this company they are horrible!
Bought a ticket to India through gotogate in order to save some money, I was in the situation to change the return flight:
- I waited at least 10 minutes to speak to someone each time I called (4 times)
- I spoke both English and Italian (native) but the people working there have really poor English or Italian; level A1 totally no understandable.
- my original ticket was 700€ but I needed to change only the return one, and they asked for 950€ to change only 1 way
Don't waist time with the hope to save 50€; you won't be able to change anything later.

I along with thousand of other consumers are owed money by you. The UK County Court has made a judgement against you but your UK address is bogus. Pay me and other consumers back. Now.
If I could give the company ZERO stars I would. They are awful. My airline canceled the original flight time due to COVID-19, and I tried to request a refund with GotoGate and have found it nearly impossible. Their customer service is nearly impossible to connect with, and when you do - they just pass you around from person to person (or simply hang up on you) with no goal of helping you resolve the issue. MY flight was changed 6 months ago, and I am still trying to fight with them for a refund. DO NOT book with them - this company is terrible.
I bought a one-way trip Porto -Dublin for 8 Dec 2021 (LEEKCJ) and due to covid phase I decided to buy both cancelation insurance and rescheduling option. I got ill and could not travel. As I spent all the times more than 1 hour waiting to be answered on the phone with Gotogate, and one time the call ended unexpectedly, I decided to use at least the cancelation insurance. For my surprise the insurance they made was to 12 dec! VAnd they are not willing to solve the problem near the insurance company, or with me!

I called for support on three occasions and waited in the queue for at least 25 minutes each time before I quit the calls without talking to the agents at all. Never book with them.
I booked my trip to Fort Lauderdale for feb 24/22, on the 23 rd I went to checkin and there was no flight and no one ever notified me, I waited over 2 hours on the phone to try and resolve this matter and they did not know what to do and told me to call back and try again after waiting over 2 hours on the phone, never would use them again
We understand that in the pandemic situation there are cancellations and changes, but that GOTO GATE sends us an email within hours of taking a flight, that the flight has been cancelled, when we have been able to take the flight perfectly to the destination, leaves much to be desired. They did not have updates from the airline
Luckily we ignored that outdated email, and were able to fly home after 3 long years. Improve!
Gotogate are scammers. I am trying to change my dates of my flight and they hang up my calls or they say the sistem is down and they can not look those flights. I encourage you to avoid to buy tickets with this travel agency of scammers.

I booked two flights from GOTOGATE website
The first one from Sydney to Ho Chi Minh city, and the second one from Ho Chi Minh city to Copenhagen.
I bought additional service of "Cancelable" due to Covid-19 pandemic and this option is available up to 2 hours before departing time at 2h50 pm. The came Sydney 3 hour earlier to take a PCR test before this departing time and talked with the flight attendant. She said my flight was canceled because I was not able to transit in Bangkok as my flight included two different airlines Thai Airline and Vietnam airline). Thailand only allowed transit for Thai Airline. I tried to contact the GOTOGATE hot line to cancel this booking with the hope that I could get the refund but this hotline is a "fake" one as it is unable to call.
Then I tried to cancel via email by filling the information in Cancellation Section by Email. There was no response after 48 hours except for an automatic confirmation of my cancellation request. Finally, a member from GOTOGATE replied that my booking is not refundable because of "according to the rules set out by the airline it is not possible to get a refund of your booking in case of cancellation".
I wondered why they took the additional money for the "Cancelation" option and response that this flight is not a cancellation. I felt like they were cheating their costumer.
As I could not go to Vietnam, I can't depart for the next trip from Ho Chi Minh to Copenhagen, so I also cancel this trip, but they also give me the same reason for not refunding.
Absolute scammers
I booked a flight through them. The airline changed one of my flights, and I called to ask if I could get a refund for the full package. Scandinavian Airlines agreed, and said they'd be happy to offer me a refund. Gotogate claimed they'd "investigate offering a refund with the airline on my behalf". Two days later, they said that the airline had refused. I called the airline again and confirmed that I was eligible for a refund before calling Gotogate. They ran me between four different Indian call centers, and then refused to give me any information as to why they were refusing to refund me then hung up. They claimed that "according to the airlines rules" they couldn't offer me a refund, but refused to explain what those rules were, and refused to get on a conference call with a representative of the airline who had offered to help me (thanks SAS).
Since I'm bored most days and spiteful, I have submitted a formal Consumer Complaint Affidavit with Miami-Dade County where they're incorporated, and am having Chase Bank deal with them via chargebacks. If you've made the unfortunate choice of doing business with them, I wish you well and will commiserate with you.
I booked a flight online. Their website is designed in a way that intentionally there is no way to cancel the ticket online. I called and was on hold for more than one hour. I send emails and there was no response in days. Their procedures are fraud so they can keep the booking charge with no cancellation money back. I requested dispute through my credit card company.
I booked a flexi ticket that was supposed to allow me to change my booking free of any additional charges. Condition is to call to re-schedule. Only that of the three phone numbers I received, none was connected. I've recorded the message, so I can now engage consumer protection to try to get my money back.

This company has stolen money. Refunds were given to them by airlines but they never pass it on to customers, some who have waited over 2 years. Some have received refunds after threats of legal action and some with help from credit card companies. I have not been given refund after the airline cancelled my flights and gave them the refund and I have not received my money yet. They do not answer calls, most times the phone does not work. Check out Facebook and search for GOTOGATE and there you will see wha many are saying. You ALL have been WARNED. I have contacted SKYSCANNER and Google regarding them and to stop promoting this company, else they will be held liable also.

Scam! Not to buy from them, change the flight unannounced and then charge a second time, Who want to cancel don't answer the phone and by email for more than a month don't answer also waiting on the line for a few hours!
And finally won't refund the money even after we had to buy new tickets from another company and And we announced a cancellation a month ago.
