They cancelled my booking due to their agent mistake and they told me to pay the fees requested by the airlines to reissue the ticket. When I showed them their mistake. They closed the Chat.

I booked two tickets, due to the war in my country the flight was cancelled go to gate did not refund me till today. All they care about is the money, bad customer service. Not recommended at all.

Booked tickets AND PAID July 23 only to be told today that extra £300 ticket REVALIDATION FEE for our tickets to be released? No clear explanation as to why and no manager callback as requested

The worst place to book a flight. As you can see they do not do a good job of responding to you because they know they're a terrible agency. I had to cancel my flight because of a death in the family. They told me to file a dispute with the airline first (Fiji Airways) which I did and they approved it within 24 hours of emailing them. They did say to bring it to this piece of doo doo agency with the approval confirmation # and they still didn't issue the refund, even though the airline approved it. I had to call my credit card company to dispute it and go to issue a warning stating they will not follow up with a refund because of the dispute and because they do not want to issue a refund that is rightfully mine. THEY SUCK SO SAVE YOURSELF OF THE HEADACHE.

I wanted to change my return flight and was told numerous times I don't have that option then that there are no available seats when they didn't ask which date I want to change to. Alm lies from call center in India.Total scam the flex ticket charge.

I accidentally booked spirit airplane plane tickets through and then realized that I booked for the wrong date because of how they purposely set up their $#*!ty website. Then I called them and said we need to cancel. Cancellation was and Spirit has issued a refund since 8/8/2023, these scammers keep lying to me that no refund has been made from spirit end. I called spirit airline again today and they told me that Gotogate got the refund using their own credit card instead of my own credit card. They have a way to change your credit card on their shifty website or file so that the refund can go to them and they will keep telling you that you will get a refund but you won't, it's been 3 months already. We spend over $3000 on plane tickets on them. I can't wait to sue these greedy $#*!ers.
Don't use those scammers.
Use another company.

Gotogate is a piece of $#*! for real. A Bunch of greedy scammers. And they won't provide you their full names because they are so pathetic and stupid that they can be found or get sued.

Our flight was cancelled. It was a 3-4 days we were about to leave the location and they sent an email advising that it has been cancelled and that there were no other option other than refund. To this day, I have been calling and emailing but no refund was ever given. This was a year ago and i'm still fighting for my refund.

Horrible service. The company doesn't want to refund your money even when the airlines clearly state I'm entitled to a full refund. It's been 3 months I've been trying to get my refund with no resolution insight. Absolutely the worst service I've had in my 40 years of traveling, I would not recommend this service to anyone.

There is no way you can cancel your ticket.i kept chatting in their app but nobody comes there to chat for tickets cancellation or other queries.their coustmer care number it connects but they can't hear us.i called 20 times but they say they can't hear me. Dont book from Gotogate

Gotogate is a honorless travel agency, they promised a refund but refused to issue a refund. Please do not use them for travel.

I am disappointed with GOTOGATE. I booked thru them a round trip flight tickets from GVA to KEF and it was cancelled by the airlines so I requested for full refund. I paid thru my credit card $2,403.74 in full last August 2023, I only got a partial refund of $701.54. I asks for the balance and they just answered me that the airline is slow to respond. It's their responsibility to make sure I am refunded the soonest. It's almost a month still no refund. They already got my money before paying the airlines! If you were to asks me that company deserve a ZERO rating!

We had to change a flight and despite having 7 days to do, Gotogate staff have been totally incapable of doing the change due to a rate not 'showing'. We ended up doing it directly with Philippines airlines who in return have extremely professional and efficient. Avoid gotogate if you think you might change plans, they are absolutely useless, I complained to Gotogate and never got any response whatsoever. They should not be allowed to operate at all.

Gotogate failed to buy my return flight or notify me leading up to it. They confirmed a refund over support call and email within 3-5 working days. I called back 10 days later and they have no records of this reimbursement being processed and are intentionally ignoring their confirmation email… it took them 3 different support reps to find out that they made a mistake in the first place after trying to convince me it was the airlines fault. They also made something up about needing to submit a claim ( which I also did without their instruction since I didn't trust them) during my call back 10 days later.

This is a company is untrustworthy, unreliable, and lacks adequate customer service.

Booked a flight with TRIP (not trip.com), an affiliate of gotogate, both belonging to ETRAVELI from Sweden and received a confirmation mail that did not contain the ticket numbers, only booking references. At the airport I was asked for ticket numbers which I did not have -refused check in and missed the flight
Repeatedly talked to them, they insist they send the ticket number in the confirmation email and refuse to acknowledge the email I sent back to them to prove that ticket numbers were in fact not available. Obviously the would not refund me. TOTAL SCAM, BEWARE! Booking made through skyscanner.com

Scamers get your money send a fake electronic ticket. Reservation confirmed that it is cancelled( no payment from gotogate) forward to the airline carrier!
When u call their fake customer service number scamees reply & after some playing wing games with you they hang up the phone!

I bought a 200$ ticket for India, I have to cancel because Canadians can't get visa I have to chat with them to cancel, they tell me to call directly the company and the charge me a 56$. I don't receive my refund, I chat with them, hey charge another 56$ plus fees. I get a refund of 55$.
Never use that Gotogate.

I request a rebooking of my ticket and after processing the payment, just a few days before my flight, I received an email with refund of the extra payment saying that "flight was cancelled due to airline restrictions". I found out later that the flight was not cancel on the airline side, the booking was active and because I didn't show up I lost the credit and flight. When I contact the agency, for over a week I kept calling with no feedback or resolution to this issue. None of their mistakes were acknowledged, and therefore no compensation either for the lost credit or the extra flight I had to buy... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

It is one of those portals that fooling their customers seems to be part of their business model.
I've purchased a ticket and paid extra for the full refund option. Indeed I had to cancel that flight and received a voucher for ~$650, that I happily tried to apply to a different flight 2 months later.
But when I tried to apply the voucher, it only used ~$450 of the voucher. I booked that ticket assuming the difference will remain on the voucher and filed a support request. I got this lovely call from their customer service couple of weeks later, telling me that (a) I got only $450 because you can't use the voucher for extras like luggage - only for the flight; and (b) that you can use the voucher once and whatever is left is forfeited. Obviously at that point I couldn't cancel that new flight becasue that would just cost me more...
Bottom line - NEVER BUY at GOTOGATE. Always best to book at the actual air travel company directly.
