I booked a flight from Melbourne to Taipei via Ho Chi Minh through GoToGate. At the airport, I was denied boarding because I wasn't informed I needed a transit visa for Vietnam. GoToGate gave no warning at any point, and when I called their support, they were rude and refused to help. I had to buy a last-minute Scoot ticket for AUD 1,094, on top of the original AUD 617 ticket that I couldn't use. Total loss: AUD 1,711 – all because GoToGate failed to inform or assist. Completely irresponsible company. Avoid them at all costs.

Absolutely a scam. I'm Canadian and was on the Canadian website to purchase tickets, before purchasing tickets were obviously in CAN dollars (why would a Canadian purchase in USD) and ended up getting charged in USD. Spoke to multiple people in customer service and they won't do anything because they're stating I purchased on the US site. Why would a US site state CAN dollars through all the steps, not stating anywhere it is going to be converted. Find out 48hrs when it showed up on my credit card. Won't be using them ever again and advise the same with others

I have been wasting my past 3 days with all those lousy business flight websites and they all collected my info and God knows where it will end up. They all wasted my time. They don't listen and send you what they want while trying to rip you off. Until I found GoToGate, OMG where have they been all this time. I got my business class ticket with the lowest price, lowest flight duration, and best time of departure/arrival. They really delivered a superb experience for a first time customer. Thank You

Buying tickets online has never been easier and more complicated at the same time. The pricing is obscure to a fault and feels at times abusive. I have enjoyed momondo as a price aggregator and turkish airlines having used both before. Was referred to GoToGate for the purchase, took a couple of minutes to make sure the data i was entering was correct. Upon checkout i am notified that my price has increased a flat 500 USD! Ludicrous! They let you go through all the hard work and extort you once at the point of no return. That price hike was almost 25%, in minutes! And they do that because they can get away with it. There is no alternative. Very predatory practices and scamlike. Accompanied by the message, "buy now or risk price increasing even more". That is literally the kind of pressure scammers use, exploiting human psychology for profit. Despicable.
