Very bad experience with Goibibo. It seems that their whole business model is to somehow fleece money from unsuspecting consumers.
I tried booking a bus ticket using their app, which did not go through as the operator declined to book. However, the amount was charged to my credit card. When I requested for a refund they credited the money to goibibo cash account, which is pretty useless if you do not want to avail their third rate services again. It has been over 2 weeks chasing them for crediting the amount back to the credit card, but they are not responsive at all. They are just trying delaying tactics.
Am thankful that the amount involved was not big, and this has been a real eye opener for me. I will never use this site again and will advise everyone to stay away from this well organized scam. Am not sure how they are allowed to operate and the promomters are not in jail.
It's a complete cheat - its relationship with its partners is horrible. At times you will NOT EVEN GET THE HOTEL after reaching. Worst, should shut down.
Extremely appalling service. This company needs to realise that customer service, specially for after sales is a big necessity. I had a lot of enquiries about cancelling my booking - however they keep redirecting me to FAQs that don't have my query. When opting in for online Chat, you get matched with a chatbot called Gia who constantly sends the same message and is not responsive at all. When selecting the option to write to management, they ask for a service ID, which you cannot receive until a case is opened - but who would open this case? So i called them and when I selected my option on the IVR, it said that they're facing a high volume of calls and have sent me a message with a link on how to go about my query. To no surprise at all, this link took my to the FAQs page.
Without any assistance, i had to cancel my booking online. When I did this, I received an automated cancellation email that said for any assistance I can send an email to the address they have shared, I did this without thinking twice. But as soon as I thought I'll finally get some clarity - I get another automated reply that this is a non-responsive email.
I'm literally stuck right now with no help from this 'website' or any human on the other end to advise. I can already see this company going under soon due to their lack of investment in customer service.
Well done on being an unacceptable and unreasonable company Goibibo - you won't be getting any business from me, my friends or family, ever.
Worst in terms of user experience while using the website. I am trying to reach out to customer service and its been an hour no way to reach them. When I call, it goes on auto IVR and when I do online chat then it again goes into auto mode... $#*!ty website
MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCENever ever book through Goibibo. Better book through hotel or airlines website. I cancelled a flight. I received their confirmation mail also on this. But I have Not received the refund. Tried to contact customer care repeatedly for past 5 days. Getting a voice message that due to high volume of calls cannot connect to customer care. All the numbers they have given in their websites says on this message. They are not replying to mails. I have written atleast 5 mails on this. No reply. About Rs. ******* under stake. Also I am coming through lot of similar complaints on GOIBIBO. Going to initiate legal actions on them.

Hey guys. I bought an domestic ticket of SPICE JET from them, kolkata to hyderabad. Did not get Indian visa on time. That's why I needed to contact them for cancellation.
If you call the international customer service number, the IVR will say that we are experiencing high volume call, then cut the line.
They said that for security reason, they will send a 4 digit text message to my cell phone number, but it never came to my USA cell phone number. Tried to do web CHAT. But failed because I did not received the 4 digit pin at all.
This is a totally bull $#*! customer service by GOIBIBO.
Bought a ticket at around 5500 INR with an extra cancellation fee provided. Spice Jet said that they will give me 1800 INR through GOIBIBO. I dont know these freaking guys will send me that amount to my credit card or not.
Dont recommend to do business with this company at all.
I've booked Bus to Goa with Rs 4442 but again I've cancelled it because of Date issue. They are returning only Rs 632. That too Goibibo wallet. They looted Rs. 3810 of mine. When I Called them Custome Support people are saying It's just a Policy, we cant do anything.
It's waste of booking in Goibibo. Goibibo is Fraud Company, Guys Don't prefer this. Waste of money.
I had booked Ambusha resort in solan with breakfast on 2nd April, 2019. But unfortunately, wen i asked for the breakfast I was charged in spite of having booked room with breakfast.
Moreover, the number provided by them at the time of booking was fake as wen i tried to call that number, it turned out to be oyo number. People should not book any booking from this company as it is a fake company.
I booked a ticket for Kolkata from Delhi for 19th April. They informed me that the flight has been cancelled and that I am entitled to a full refund. For this I would have to cancel the ticket first and then raise a request with them. Now here is the catch: when I choose the option "flight cancelled" in the cancellation reason section, I am shown a refund amount of 0. Moreover the request cannot be raised as I cannot log in to their system in the first place. I have contacted them over facebook now. If that doesn't work, I will have to go to the consumer forum.
They should at least clearly mention on the e ticket the time that it is a. M or p.m. I booked for 9 P.m... but later it was informed me that the bus was gone at 9 a. M
We had booked both to and fro tickets from Bangalore to Singapore for April'19. Jet cancelled our flight. I have been trying to get in touch with their so called 24*7 customer care form morning! Almost all day now. They have the audacity to send an email about the rescheduling of the flight and tell me for any queries I can reach pit to their 24*7 service center. I have called a 100 times and it just give me a new menu option and is generous to send me SMS with a link that take me to an automated travel chat window. This assumes the only problem I can have is to change or modify my ticket or add meals plans.
I know we live in the digital age but I might have a question that you intelligent souls have not listed!

I stayed in allahabad, as per their hotel photos it was good but in reality very poor maintenance and nothing available in room, bathroom very unhygienic and cockroaches. They charged me Rs. 2527/- for that room while it is available in Rs. 550/-They charged 5 times. This was gostay certified assures 100% refund if not satisfied. I submitted all the hotel photos but now these thieves say hotel is not refunding money we are intermediary only. While I paid money to them and they pay to hotel after 2-3 months. This shows they are cheating/ fooling peoples. Even blanket was smelly and very dirty we asked for plan bed sheet which they did not have and gave only one. Help desk customer care has ravipalsingh and jitender sharma like peoples who donot understand the case and give decisions at their own.In fact this company is behind money only once money is paid to them they never refund money all their claims are false. Let us represent to the ministry and the PMO that such bogus, cheaters be banned or their licences are cancelled. The top management is also cheater, they support and appreciate their employees to cheat peoples
I booked flight on 10th feb. I wanted to reschedule it. I have been told to pay for another flight charges, and old charges will be refund.
I did same. But now they are denying to refund, saying that we have checked our recordings, based on which we have not committed to refund. When I asked for those recording they said we cant provide recordings because of company policy. They are clearly playing. They said they will arrange call to made me listen call records but ita been more than 10 days I didnt received any call. When I follow up they say we are working on it.
Clearly they dont want to refund, it was their customer care executive mistake, I have recordings too,
I wanted to pay with paypal, that didnt work. Than they redirected me to the previous page again. I paid with Creditcard then, somehow the date changed, what I saw when the payment process was done. Then I couldnt change the date anymore, it is as expensive to CANCEL as it is to CHANGE... I would get back 130 Rupees from 3000... Thank you very much! Just decided to cancel and never book with them again and also wouldnt recommend annyone to book there.

It is a big fraud company.The technical team in this company edit all information of complaint and prove u wrong. I would reccomend never ever trust goibibo.As well as they r not at all ready to hear from customer. When i booked my international flight from london to leeds their portal showed 2 baggage allowance bt when i contacted airlines they said their are no baggage allowance. When i reverted to goibibo they customised the page only. Shame on you.
After paying full amount. We were offered 2 person's room instead 4 persons family room at jaipur for the date from 11th Jan to 12th jan 19 in hotel metro in. I lost my whole money. Unwillingly I had to changed hotel and paid again

Good communication. In reality there was no mobile and data network in the room, No frequent public communication, No stationary shop, no medicine shop.
Whenever I wanted to receive a call, I had to go out side of the hotel. I had to waited for long time for an auto or riksha, Event hotel staff told us
There was no wifi connection. I had paid the whole hotel fare *******/- at the time of booking the hotel through Goibibo. Once I faced the problem I checked out from the hotel.
But Goibibo is telling now the problem that we faced is not related to hotel. So they do not refund the money. I provided them all the photos those are enough to proof my claim.
After investigating they are ready to refund the 25% of the hotel fare. But I demand for 75 % of the hotel fare.
Goibibo are demanding themselves as a intermediate between the customer and hotel. But I booked the hotel through Goibibo.
I came to know about the hotel through Goibibo website.So they are bound to take the responsibility for my harrasmentment. Even no photo of the surrounding of the hotel are posted on the Goibibo website from the hotel management end.
If I would have checked the photo of the surroundings I had not booked the hotel. But they do not want to take the responsibility for my harassment. After checking out from the hotel,
I had to move into a another hotel of the same amount of fare with all the facility that I wanted to have. Once I faced the problem I immediately checked out from the hotel.
They should check the hotels and surrounding of the hotel before permitting the hotel management to post the hotel details on their website.
It has been an extremely painful and unpleasant experience to deal with goibibo and certainly the last deal with them.
A property that was listed as a 4start category hotel (Annex Executive Mumbai) with all the amenities turned out to be a lodge in a. Dilapidated building with not even a lift or working shower not to talk of other facilities. It was a complete shock and when I requested an alternative of the category that I had chosen I was made to hold till 2 in the night and lied progressively. Finally in the morning after holding for more than one hour on the call, 'Kamini' turned up and came to my rescue and gave an alternate location (Hotel Ibis), which was very kind of her. But no plans for a breakfast or a better room was availed. The room is too small for two people with no good space for luggage.
I feel cheated through and through and the only sincerely helping person in the organisation after 16 hours of suffering was Kamini.
Please find the screenshot of the amenities that were listed as present in annex executive and turned out to be completely false.
I am going to review the truth about this incident everywhere. Goibibo, u caused me mental agony and literally cheated. I don't think if it had not been Kamini I would not even get this less than mediocre room. Highly unprofessional and false services on part of Goibibo.

I had made hotel booking with goibibo at Udaypur but the images of rooms in hotels which are shown in the website of goibibo are far away from real ones. Moreover there is no telephonic support from the side of the Goibibo... Never prefer this site...
