After the frames I originally selected went out of stock, I submitted an order for my second choice. Three days later I get an email from Glasses USA that says that the glasses are out of stock, despite messages 3 days earlier that they were *already in production*. Something is really wrong with this picture.
Now I get to wait 7-10 days for my refund so that I can get on with this process elsewhere?
I can't wait to take to public forums and consumer agencies to let them know what a horrible experience and how unprofessional my experience has been, and also how disappointing calling glasses USA this morning was. There was absolutely no supervisor and no explanation -- just "too bad."

I had high hopes, as a friend successfully ordered progressives online, but instant headache. You just can't get the precision needed with progressives without professional measurements being taken.

To ensure that you will receive a pair of glasses that will work well for you, we recommend you verify your PD (Pupillary Distance) as most optometrists do not provide this information on the prescription. You can measure your PD easily by placing a ruler on the bridge of your nose and measuring the distance between your pupils in millimeters. Glasses showed up broken. I tried to start a chat, cant talk to a real person. So I called went through the whole thing got to the end they asked if I wanted a refund I said yes then they offered me 110% credit for another pair of glasses so I chose that option. Said I would receive an email with instructions on how to redeem. It's been 3 working days no email no nothing. You cannot talk to a real person everything is automated. My glasses showed up BROKE. $367.00 and they have yet to do ANYTHING about it. Disgusted about the situation. Will never order again.

If you have a problem with your order, it is seemingly impossible to get it resolved. And if you have a strong prescription, glassesusa is not a good option. I placed an order and got an email a few days later that the frame I wanted wouldn't work for my prescription and told what to do to pick another. That's fine. Quite good, actually. But... After sending numerous emails to *******@glassesusa.com with no response (and continuing to get emails from them with no acknowledgement of my emails to them) I tried to find a phone number - no luck getting a live agent. So I tried the chat function. The only way I was ever able to reach a real person was to type "cancel order." That got me to a real person (via chat) who SEEMED like she was helping, but the problem was not resolved, and I once again, after more emails, a few days later I had to go to chat and say "cancel order" to get to a live agent again. At this point, every frame I selected that would work with my prescription was "out of stock" (even though still listed as available on the website) and I was left with 6 frames that I did not like (plus an assortment of swim goggles) to choose from. I reluctantly settled for a frame and waited. After several days and checking back to see that the order status had not changed, I went back a third time to try to cancel the order. The chat bot got in a continuous loop. After selecting many paths to try to get through, I took the "I changed my mind" option to get out of the loop at which time a live agent got in the chat to try to get me to come to a conclusion other than canceling the order. After I repeatedly typed "cancel order" she finally sent me the link. (Lesson learned - you can get to the link by typing "cancel" in the search bar on the website)

Can't get ahold of anyone. The virtual chat is robotic. If you call their number, they send your issue to a text, where it says to email them. Their email says to click here to check on your order or to email them...email you from your email? Sounds legit 👌 🙄
They send you in a viscous circle. Was a huge waste of time. I'll be disputing with my bank.

I ordered my prescription lenses on Feb 2nd to which I was super excited, seeing they guarantee a timely delivery (didn't want to wait on target's 10 day shipping) but now it's been forever and I'm struggling here using an old pair of glasses since the last pair I had broke. Never using GlassesUSA again

I was disappointed in the delay of the delivery, but more disappointed in how poorly the glasses fit. The temple arms are flared way out and slip off of my ears. There was no instruction in the paperwork for how to fix this kind of a problem. I would have to weigh about 500 pounds with a fat head for these glasses to fit. I don't understand why you would send out glasses that are that distorted in their shape. I plan to contact customer service about this soon and would be happy to update my feedback based on whatever comes out of those conversations. Thank you, John

Shipping label was printed on time for the estimated ship date when the order was placed. It sat in limbo for many days - the tracking said it wasn't picked up. A week after it was to be ready for shipment it finally left, arriving 10 days after the estimated ship date. If you are going to say an order will be ready for shipment in three business days, then warn people packages are not picked up daily or that shipping is backed up.
The ordering system makes you pick between packages that have no coatings and all the coatings. You can't get clear lenses with just anti reflective coating. The coating option makes the lenses and everything you see yellow. The no coating option allows glare and reflection in your lenses which is extremely annoying. There is no real human to express these concerns to. Their sunglasses are good but their actual clear lense glasses are garbage.

I received my glasses quickly and were perfect. The quality is superb
Very quick, frame is sturdy, yet lightweight. Glasses are as per the prescription. Very happy with the expedited service received.
Easy squeezy but took a long time for delivery. The frames look great.; wish I had them sooner.
Ordered glasses and they looked great, but only lasted about seven months. I am a retired grandmother, so there is no rough housing or reasoning for them to break except they were made very cheaply contacted the company, and they offered to reimburse half of my money towards another pair of glasses, but I definitely could not replace my glasses for half the amount so I had to get sunglasses with no bifocal in them and I was actually disappointed with those two. They look like they are sized for children. Lesson learned.

Answer: I got the same B. S. handed to me. After more than double the stated time and lack of response, I cancelled my order and notified my credit card company.

Answer: Dealing with them right now and thats a NO. Horrible customer service and they will loop hole you to no end so that they dont have to give you a refund on their product that does not work. My eyes literally work better without their glasses on my face.
Answer: Our production times vary between each prescription and lens type we produce. By far our glasses are produced and delivered before the times stated in our shipping policy. In some cases, unfortunately, glasses might not pass quality assurance, which means they need to be remade. This unfortunately means that we have to start again from scratch, but as a rule we do not send out any glasses that did not meet our quality standards. Shipping times are unfortunately mostly beyond our control as we depend upon our carriers to deliver the products in a timely manner. Our delivery department works toe to toe with all of our carriers to make sure our glasses are delivered as promptly as possible. We also offer a variety of shipping options that ensure a faster delivery for any interested customers, but our customers need to keep in mind shipping times do not include production time. Our customer service is available by phone, email, chat and social media around the clock, 24\7. We can be easily reached at any time, including weekends and holidays at all times to answer any questions and concerns. Answer: I ordered a pair on 3rd Nov and was still waiting on 20 Nov. I canceled them On the 21st. A rep called and convinced me to give them a second chance...big mistake. I gave them a second shot and resubmitted the order on the 21st. The rep assured me that the glasses would be shipped in 6 days. Taking into account Thanksgiving the glasses should have be shipped on the 30th but they were still in production and, again no real customer service. I canceled and drove to America's Best. In 15 minutes I ordered glasses and they were $30.00 less than glassesusa. I don't recommend that company.
