We have had good experiences in the past. BUT. My elderly mother ordered glasses in May of this year, and from the time she received them, complained they made her dizzy. She finally went to her eye doctor who found that one of the lenses was in the frame upside down! When mom called GlassesUSA to exchange the glasses, she was told that the return window was closed and there was nothing they can do. What? We are still trying to return the defective glasses to get a credit for a future pair... no luck so far, but we will keep trying.
I'm extremely disappointed with my experience with GlassesUSA. I paid $16.81 for 2-day overnight UPS shipping, but my order was delayed by weeks with no clear communication. To make matters worse, they shipped my glasses using a slower, unreliable postal service. Instead of getting what I paid for, I was offered a refund for the shipping—which I didn't want. I wanted my glasses delivered on time, as promised.
The entire process has been frustrating and dishonest. I would not recommend using GlassesUSA, as they don't honor their commitments or provide adequate customer service. I regret trusting them, and I'll be sharing my experience on social media to warn others.

I ordered a pair of sunglasses and regular glasses. The sunglasses came in right away, the regular glasses took almost a month. OSM was the shipping company,they did not post updates. The regular glasses were in production for weeks. I tried several times to contact someone due to the fact that I paid for expedited shipping and felt with the delay I should've been credited. It was impossible to actually get someone on the phone to help
It is very difficult to get someone on the phone. So i was disappointed that i could not resolve my issue

I got my order and was surprised it did not come with a glass case. The packaging could have been better. It came inside a damaged box.
This is the third order that I have made with glassesusa.com in the past year that has been made incorrectly from my prescriptions that I have sent photos of, and dealing with returns when it is incorrect is a nightmare.
When you can no longer make returns, you have to go out of your way to go to a different optometrist locally and have them scan the lenses to prove that glasses USA made them incorrectly, they don't take your word for it. You have to go out of your way to prove it to them and then wait weeks for a response, Hoping you get your refund.

Been buying glasses here for over 10 years, but that just stopped. The headline says most of it, but there are a couple more things: can't talk / chat to a human being, even though Glasses USA says it's "live chat", didn't / haven't responded to 3 emails to their service department and no invoice / statement with the glasses.
I did receive the correct frames though.

I have always had great success and customer satisfaction from GlassesUSA.
I've been using these guys for years and years, their quality, simplicity, and amount of choices are what really brings me back here every time!
This was my second order from glassesUSA and it's exactly what I needed. Great selection, my new glasses arrived in a reasonable time and were a reasonable price for brand name frames.
I uploaded all information and there was an error with the prescription. Because of this error, even though I rectified it within an hour, the glasses were delayed over a week.

The ordering process was seamless. I was able to track the order ( it was via DHL) it was reported as delivered on the 8th but I actually received the mail on the 10th. So for 2 days I was really worried the glasses were lost. That was the only hiych. The glasses itself look and fit great
The whole customer service process is auto mated so it is really slow - something to be aware of - it can be frustrating wondering whats going on.

The prescription for my glasses actually works for my eyes they're good quality glasses and I can tell they're helping my vision

Answer: I got the same B. S. handed to me. After more than double the stated time and lack of response, I cancelled my order and notified my credit card company.

Answer: Our production times vary between each prescription and lens type we produce. By far our glasses are produced and delivered before the times stated in our shipping policy. In some cases, unfortunately, glasses might not pass quality assurance, which means they need to be remade. This unfortunately means that we have to start again from scratch, but as a rule we do not send out any glasses that did not meet our quality standards. Shipping times are unfortunately mostly beyond our control as we depend upon our carriers to deliver the products in a timely manner. Our delivery department works toe to toe with all of our carriers to make sure our glasses are delivered as promptly as possible. We also offer a variety of shipping options that ensure a faster delivery for any interested customers, but our customers need to keep in mind shipping times do not include production time. Our customer service is available by phone, email, chat and social media around the clock, 24\7. We can be easily reached at any time, including weekends and holidays at all times to answer any questions and concerns. Our dedicated customer service team works around the clock to make sure any and all issues are taken care of. Answer: There should be, they are horrible! They have 0 customer service- you can not speak to a live person! It's totally automated and inefficient if you need help in anyway!

Answer: I ordered a pair on 3rd Nov and was still waiting on 20 Nov. I canceled them On the 21st. A rep called and convinced me to give them a second chance...big mistake. I gave them a second shot and resubmitted the order on the 21st. The rep assured me that the glasses would be shipped in 6 days. Taking into account Thanksgiving the glasses should have be shipped on the 30th but they were still in production and, again no real customer service. I canceled and drove to America's Best. In 15 minutes I ordered glasses and they were $30.00 less than glassesusa. I don't recommend that company.
