Glasses are nice. However, the shipping portion needs to improve. If you are using USPS as delivery method, ship the glasses with USPS all the way. If there was almost a week with no updates with expedited shipping, I cannot imagine with free shipping.

My order has been "in production" since May 8. Since I plan to leave shortly for a trip and don't want my glasses to end up in a mailbox for a week or so, I have called customer service over and over again to ask about a possible delivery time. Instead of a person, I am constantly referred to "chat"; and since my question falls outside the very narrow parameters of "chat", I'm instructed to leave my phone number for someone to call me. When I do so, I'm informed my number - which I have had for 30 years - is not a valid number. I am a senior citizen and veteran and use a landline which is more reliable than a mobile device in case of an emergency. Nor do I text because of arthritis in my fingers. I have also sent several emails to customer service only to have them reply that "...this email is not actively monitored", and refer me once again to "chat". The only conclusion I can draw from this is that they have set up their automated services in such a way that they just don't want to be bothered with customers, especially older ones lacking current techno skills, any more than they absolutely have to be.

As stated on our site and at the time of purchase, our typical production time is as follows:
Single vision (general use/near vision): approximately 2-4 business days
Multifocal / bifocal / tinted lenses / polycarbonate lenses: approximately 6 business days
Shipping can take between 5-10 business days, depending on the Courier:
Standard (free): up to 7-10 business days
Expedited (additional fee): up to 5-7 business days
Express (additional fee): up to 3-5 business days

Easy to choose and order. These were for my husband and he loved them. Second pair I have bought from GlassesUSA.
I ordered safety goggles to wear under my dirt bike helmet and got exactly what I ordered. Prescription seems dead on and the goggles seem high quality and durable. Will be ordering another goggle, but without the head strap this time.
I spent over $500 on two pairs of prescription glasses. One of the pair arrived in a case that was destroyed. This happened at their facility. Someone literally placed a destroyed case into the glasses box (which was pristine) and then into the shipping box. This is what they think of their customers. When I asked for a replacement case, with images, they said they didn't have anymore. Do they really expect me to believe that?_______________

Glasses were great, just needed different lenses. I didn't like the transition lenses on one pair that I ordered. I contacted to start a return and the process was very easy. I just didn't receive clear instructions on if they would be refunded and I need to reorder with different lenses or if they would automatically exchange the glasses with different lenses.
Yea, terrible customer service. I purchased a pair and they were too small. I sent them back and ordered a different pair. They arrived with the wrong prescription and went back again. This time the frames were out of stock and I had to settle for a different pair. When they finally arrived, the reading part of the lenses (progressives) was so far down that I can't read with them. They are now refusing to fix them because I had already sent them back twice! Now I have a $400 pair of glasses that are useless to me!

Original order was received within 2 weeks, there was a manufacturing defect on the frame and a scratch on the lens. Return was received and no update was given for almost 2 weeks. You're only option is the talk to the chat bot who said shrug, we're really busy. Return is in process now. Let's hope someone actually inspects this pair before they ship.

Answer: Our production times vary between each prescription and lens type we produce. By far our glasses are produced and delivered before the times stated in our shipping policy. In some cases, unfortunately, glasses might not pass quality assurance, which means they need to be remade. This unfortunately means that we have to start again from scratch, but as a rule we do not send out any glasses that did not meet our quality standards. Shipping times are unfortunately mostly beyond our control as we depend upon our carriers to deliver the products in a timely manner. Our delivery department works toe to toe with all of our carriers to make sure our glasses are delivered as promptly as possible. We also offer a variety of shipping options that ensure a faster delivery for any interested customers, but our customers need to keep in mind shipping times do not include production time. Our customer service is available by phone, email, chat and social media around the clock, 24\7. We can be easily reached at any time, including weekends and holidays at all times to answer any questions and concerns. Our dedicated customer service team works around the clock to make sure any and all issues are taken care of. We are always working on improving all of the above, whether by opening new facilities, working and negotiating our agreements with carriers or expanding our customer service team and making them more efficient. Answer: I ordered a pair on 3rd Nov and was still waiting on 20 Nov. I canceled them On the 21st. A rep called and convinced me to give them a second chance...big mistake. I gave them a second shot and resubmitted the order on the 21st. The rep assured me that the glasses would be shipped in 6 days. Taking into account Thanksgiving the glasses should have be shipped on the 30th but they were still in production and, again no real customer service. I canceled and drove to America's Best. In 15 minutes I ordered glasses and they were $30.00 less than glassesusa. I don't recommend that company.
