Ordered gift on 22/12/12 for delivery to relative in USA. Not received. When I contacted Giftsnideas.com they told me delivered on 4/1/13, thought when I called the recipient nothing was received. Giftsnideas.com provided me with UPS confirmation saying delivered left at: other released. NOT TO MY RELATIVE THOUGH. When I asked Giftsnideas.com for more information they emailed me back saying that my gift would be delivered and I would receive a confirmation email. Nothing came. I have been told that my complaint will be replied to in 24hrs not I am being told that an investigation is under way which could take 7-15 business days and I am not eligible for a refund. THEY WERE VERY QUICK TO CHARGE MY CREDIT CARD! THEY NEVER LET ME KNOW ANYTHING. I have to chase them to find out what is going on. Every email reply is from someone different 'Adam', 'Mike', 'Alena', 'Vincent'. I know something is not right and there are a lot of complaints out there. I have 3 months off so I have all the time in the world to start an online media campaign warning others!
Terrible! Gift was ordered 3 weeks ago with 1-3 days delivery confirmed. It still hasn't arrived. PLEASE avoid these guys. They crate nothing but headaches. And I agree - their customer service reps are TOTALLY incompetent! Avoid, avoid, avoid!
The heavy Gift basket was not delivered (the driver couldn't find the address! - never had any trouble from other on-line stores), and the fruit in the gift basket was of such poor quality that it only caused problems, shame and embarrassment for all concerned.
I would shop elsewhere.
Trying to be objective here. Overall, I'm quite satisfied.
Pros:
- The gift was hand-delivered to my friends in Tokyo, Japan and my friends were happy.
- Lots of good choices for gifts;
- When the gift was delivered, I got an email notification.
Cons:
- Some gift choices were quite pricey but perhaps that's still fair, considering things in Japan are also pricey.
- There was no delivery tracking system like UPS/Fedex has. I was worried for few days since I've never used their service before but I'm glad it's delivered. I would have given another star. The estimated delivery day was Saturday but I got the email notification on the next day.
I have been using them for awhile with no issues. Now suddenly the last two items I have sent I have gotten back from their support team I have to go through a clearance proccess. Keep in mind, I've used them several times before with no issues and now they write me to say on an order i just made with them I'm a high risk and they have to have all this personal information? To hell with them. Once they process or don't process this last order I will never use them again! For a customer who has used them multiple times without issues on payment, it is BS they should treat you like this..
I ordered 2 gifts for my girlfriend in the Philippines. The items did get there but there was no confirmation email. The customer service is non existent. The site isn't well designed. I'm looking for an alternative site to use.

I had ordered a gift for my boyfriend and then read reviews about the site. I was really worried that it would not get delivered but after emailing them, they confrimed that the gift would be delivered guaranteed. I was still a little sceptical however this morning my boyfriend received the gift and it was exactly as i ordered. Giftsnideas said they would give me updates on the status of my order, however i did not receive any such email... My boyfriend recieved it anyway so i am happy:-)
I am so dissapointed at this site. My delivery wasnt done that the given date. It was a birthday N somehow they didnt confirm the payment and it was not delievered. Later when i talked to the live person of this site then they told me they tried to call me etc or emailed me which i have no idea... why would i think that my delievery wouldnt happen until i get a phonecall etc while the payment was approved on the spot. Also i live in different times zones for you guys to contact me. Thanks for ruining someone specials birthday for me and having a reason of confirmation etc while i was waiting eagerly that that person would receive the gift and would be so happy and surprised. Thanks you this site for making my daY! Awful experience never coming back here again and if only i could write a negative blog about it it would make my day!
My credit card was hacked through them and now I'm trying to get my order cancelled and a refund and I'm not hearing a word. Stay away. I wish I had researched it before ordering.
Opposite to the reviews I've read here, I only have good experience with this website and their services. Before someone would think: no, I had never seen this site before, and after reading the comments here, I actually believed the gift I ordered would never be delivered. Fortunately I was wrong :) I chose a chocolate box + teddy bear combination for my bf, as we were celebrating our anniversary recently, (but far from each other). I ordered the gift on Sunday night (12th Febr, CEU time), and chose 15th as the delivery date. (to Sydney). I had forgotten it that due to the time-zone difference, I gave 2 days for them only, however they deliver usually btw 3 or 5 days. When my bf didn't receive anything on 15th, I also thought it was just another Internet trap, and I'm gonna face the same problems that most of the reviewers. But yesterday my bf called and told me he got a package. What I saw on the cam was exactly what I wanted to see: the box was very nicely packed with a ribbon, inside he found my card with the message and in the heart box, teddy was lieing with the chocolates :) And according to him, the chocolates were also tasty. I don't know why so many people had troubles with them, but I can't have a bad word against gifts n ideas. I got what I paid for, so it seems, they may do good sometimes.
I soooooo regret placing an order through their website. I specified a date on when I want my gift (for a friend's birthday) to be delivered. For them to do this, I even had to pay an extra fee. On the day of the delivery, I called their customer service line just to confirm that the gift is on its way. I was told that it was. The day of the delivery ended but the gift never arrived.

This site is ridiculous! 3 weeks ago I placed an order, when UPS tried to deliver it I was told it was not the correct address so instead of contacting me to deal with it, they sent the shipment back. After it'd been sent back I gave them instructions to just send it to the local UPS office for pick up but no, they tried sending it to the 'wrong' address yet again, meaning it's getting bounced back to them again. I can't even count how many times I've called, e-mailed or been on the live chat to them and they never give me a straight answer. They always tell me they'll check with their 'local partner' and get back to me within the next 24 hours, ha! They don't! I even asked them to give me their local partners details and I'd contact them myself but no, they assured me they'd get back to me themsleves. Idiots! I've requested them to keep my order once it gets back to them and give me a full refund but the 'cannot guarantee' a full refund. Now unlike some of the other reviews here, my order isn't perishable, nor was it really expensive, either way, I should get my refund. I will not pay for nothing but trouble for 3 weeks. Stay away from this site, it's a scam!

The site seems legitimate, but untrustworthy.
I placed an oder for a birthday in Ottawa, Canada. Though delivery is promised in 1-3 business days, there was no delivery for 10 days. I got in touch with the site people by SMS and Skype, and over the next week my repeated inquiries and then requests for cancellation and refund got no results except promises to check with their Ottawa agent. I finally complained to the VISA people at the card issueing bank and they reversed the payment.
Awful.
Failure to deliver. Customer 'service' agents barely speak English and telephone line keeps cutting out.
Same old lies about speaking with their 'local partner' to find out why they haven't delivered. By speaking with UPS it transpires the retailer (giftsnideas.com) voided the UPS order prior to collection.
Liars. Cheats. Scammers. Avoid at all costs.

Past Mother's Day my order to Poland with giftsnideas.com was not delivered on time. When it arrived contents were spoiled.
3 weeks ago I ordered from www.giftbasketsoverseas.com for Father's Day, a bit more expensive but the order arrived next day and worth the money paid.
I wish I have read the reviews on this website earlier.
Much to the contrary of other posters here, i sent a gift basket to China through giftsnideas on june 27,2011. It arrived within hours of ordering, and customer service was very responsive to inquiries. The quality of the gift was highly enjoyed by the recipient, and i felt it was value for the money compared to more widely known and higher priced delivery services. I was initially extremely nervous after ordering then finding this site filled with only negative comments as i have been scammed by internet fraud in the past, but i very relieved to only have a positive experience. I would order through them again.
After placing confirmed order for a father's day gift, got a call to ask for my credit card no over the phone; one day later was told the champagne I ordered was out of stock; one day before father's day got a call that the wine I selected was also not available; when I got angry the company asked if I wanted to cancel the order and this is on the eve of father's day! Stay away from this Website!

This website is a disaster! Never trust this site! I paid 90 US dollars to them but they were not able to deliver the gift! Such useless site! And sooo fraudulent! THis site is a fraud! The customer service is so very poor! They are not able to resolve issues! And all the staff are so useless, even the UPS services! The staff are so idiots!
