Guys, I have to say your service is pathetic and not worth considering again. We did a big big mistake by ordering a gift from your site. My brother ordered gift from your site from India with order number {*******}. His name is Nitesh Narayan Lal and email address is *******@gmail.com. It was ordered on Mon, Jun 23,2014 at 1:59 PM to be delivered to me in Houston, Texas and see it is not delivered yet. He dropped couple of follow up emails on *******@giftsnideas.com with no response. I tried contacting your customer service through your so called online chat tool but it never worked. I tried calling on your US Customer Service Phone *******697 but no one responded. Do you guys feel yourself responsible to at least refund the money now or you are thinking that we are doing charity?
Couldn't believe i did this terrible mistake of not reading reviews before ordering anything. Their services are absolutely terrible. My experience:
1. Ordered on 17/7/2014 to be delivered on 18/7/14.
2. Next day i got an email informing area is an internal one, hence it can't be delivered before 22/7/2014.
3. Talked to one of customer service representatives - they told me "order was out of stock, so can't be delivered on time". They were not even in sync with what the issue was.
4. I agreed on getting it delivered BEFORE 22/7/2014 but somehow that got converted into ON 22/7/2014.
5. All day 22/7/2014 no mail neither of confirmation, no delay email. I again had to call them and they took 18 hrs to contact their local delivery provider and ask them if order was delivered. NO EMAIL AGAIN. Keep calling - it never ends!
6. On 23/7/2014 (i called obviously) - the order was delivered at 8:09 AM and it was left at doorstep since door was locked and recipient did not even pick up call. LEFT AT DOOR SERIOUSLY? HOW LAME IS THAT! Further to it my fiance was at home waiting for this gift till 10:30 AM
7. You keep waiting for proof of delivery and keep calling them. All they can tell you is we regret the inconvenience caused but they don't do anything to ease it off!
Worst site ever - they don't give you tracking no. To track the order. They wont even tell you who their SECRET Local delivery agent is!
So pissed off!
Very Worst delivery. They don even provide tracking number for me to understand. I heard after 20 days as my product is shipped finally..
Ordered birthday cake, nothing was delivered, next day filed refund claim with Bank of America, they called company, they didnt respond my bank refunded me all money. Thank you Bank of America <3
I am also a recent victim of this company. I wanted to send a surprise gift for my brother and sister-in-law for their first wedding anniversary and I asked them to deliver it on their anniversary day itself. The one I ordered is Golden inspirations holiday tray. My brother and wife got the gift by the end of the day and I was suppose to get a delivery confirmation email which I never received. Also, my brother and sister-in-law sent me the picture of the gift they received and I was shocked. Then one I ordered according to the website looked very nice with the golden gift basket and all the things were nicely packed but the one they received was a piece of a jung. Don't ever order from these people.
I am also a recent victim of the scam carrying out by this www.giftnideas.com. I ordered a cake to be delivered in Lugano, Switzerland on 12th June 2014. Since these scumbugs wrote that they offer the same day delivery, i was not bothered to pay 10 $ extra. Amount was paid by credit card and i was relaxed. I was expecting a call from my receiver that the cake had been delivered but the whole day passed and no delivery was made! I called them up regarding the matter and these basturds gave me the same stupid and nonsense reason that they were not able to get in touch with local vendor in switzerland. They assured me for the next day delivery but the same scene was repeated. Again no delivery! This time they told me that the address was incorrect! Huhhhhhhhh the address i gave is a most prestigious address in switzerland and they were not able to found that! So much embarrassing situation in front of my receiver! I made some research on this scam and came to know that:
1. These guys are operating from INDIA and they do not have any physical presence across the globe other then india. When you would be calling up on any phone number provided on the site, the call is routed to them in india and one can easily make out this due to the thick and heavy accent of the speaker at the other end.
2. They have taken a mail forwarding service in U.S. A and even the spelling of the state DELAWARE is incorrect.
3. Whenever you will chat with them online, you only get hold of two people names as SARAH BROWN and OMAR RAHMANN. These are the fictitious names.
4. They do not have any international vendor. When we place any order other then to be delivered in india, they simply passes it to other websites by negotiating with them.
5. Always use paypal as a payment option if you are paying to them so that if the order will not be delivered, you can open a dispute case with paypal and paypal guys will hold there payment unless the order will not be delievered.
I am in the US and I sent a candy bouquet to my 9 year old niece in Australia for her 9th bday. Correction. I TRIED to send a candy bouquet. It was never delivered. I went to the giftsnideas website to track my order and was unable to login. I have my password written down, but it wouldn't accept it. I clicked on the link for a forgotten password just to reset it and be able to log in. It said it sent me an email with a link to create a new password, but after an hour I still had no email. I then went back to the Giftsnideas site and clicked on the Live chat button because their site "claims" 24 hour a day, 6 days a week live help. One hour and thirty minutes later I still have not been connected to a representative. It says "please be patient" in the chat window. Exactly how long should I wait? I then called their US customer service number. I was connected to a man that sounded like he was in India and I could barely hear him due to the static on the line. He put me on hold and then hung up on me. I immediately called back and got the same man who said we accidentally got disconnected. He said he is sorry that my item was not delivered on time (even though I ordered it early and paid $18.46 for shipping!) and guarantees that it will be delivered tomorrow. Call me crazy, but I don't think my bouquet will ever arrive after reading all of the reviews of this company here. My only recourse will be to contact American Express and try to get my money back that way. The Grace, who claims to be the customer service manager of Giftsnideas who keeps replying to all of these bad reviews here claims they have 100% customer satisfaction on their site, is delusional! People who were supposed to get refunds due to their 100% satisfaction guarantee say they never got their refunds. The only reason I can't leave a bad review on their site is because it won't let me log in! Time to post on Facebook and Twitter and let people know to avoid this site AT ALL COST!

This company, yet again, it appears, has failed to deliver the item ordered.
I ordered a bottle of Champagne for my brother's wedding which I was unable to attend. It was over $100, so not an insignificant amount. I ordered it on 8th May and it still hasn't arrived.
Customer services tell me they will escalate my issue and call me back but so far this has not happened.
So I still have no gift, no explanation and no refund has been issued.

If I could have scored this company lower than a 1 I would have. They are absolutely terrible. They missed the birthday girl's birthday - I should have checked online reviews before bothering to order. Beware that they deliver "anytime between 1pm and 7pm" - totally helpful when you are trying to deliver a gift to a workplace with operating hours of 9-5. Their operators are unhelpful and rude.
One day after the scheduled delivery date I was advised the gift was delivered (despite assurances on the previous day that it would arrive on time). The gift still hasn't been received but gifts n ideas seem to think its appropriate to send me an email stating that the gift has been delivered. Never again.
I had made an order on 3/17 to be delivered on 3/24 to the Europe. Was $20 extra to be 3-4 business days. Come Monday, no birthday present delivered. Come Tuesday, I was told they couldn't get a hold of the local vendor and they would email me. 9 hours later I ask again and am told they still can't get in touch with the vendor and will let me know. Wednesday still no present, no email. Fed up, I asked about a refund and am told it will be 4-5 days to reflect in my account. Not very customer orientation. Will have to wait to see if I get a reverse payment before I attempt to send something via an actual trusted site. Highly dissatisfied.
I specifically ordered from this site as it offered next-day hand delivery (Paris) and the point of the gift was to thank coworkers who had stayed late to do a cross-continent meeting the night before (on late notice, no less). I ordered on a Tuesday with a delivery date of Wednesday. On SATURDAY I got two identical emails, about an hour apart, stating: "We regret to inform you that we just heard back from our concerned team that all the items in your selected product are not available and they can replace with the below substitutions:..."
I ordered ONE item, so if it was not available it shouldn't have been shown as an option on the site. But more importantly, why was this brought up DAYS after the listed delivery date? I asked for an immediate refund. Horrible business.
Total disappointment. Sent my mum (overseas) a bear with some roses for her birthday. What was delivered was nothing like the picture on their website and mum said the teddy looked worn; like it had been sitting in a shop window for a long time.
I never heard back when I sent an email of complaint... UNTIL I put a post on their facebook page. Then they promised to either send another gift or refund my money within 48 hours. Well it's now over 5 weeks later and neither has happened. Last night I tried a LiveChat session with them. The answer I got was "Dear Linda, there is a technical issue as of now we will be unable to update you any status". Surprise, surprise!

Horrible and stressful experience. I purchased a vase with roses and a gourmet basket. On the day of the delivery they inform me that the basket was unavailable even though I checked with their customer service if all was okay with my order. Afer contacting several times their customer services, I was informed that they had no idea when it would be delivered, they finally contacted me informing they would have the basket 5 days after my order. I am still waiting to see if these scammers will keep up their word. Beware them, they are scammers.

I ordered a Valentine + anniversary gift for my girlfriend who lives in dennmark on the 10th of Febr. I choosed the date 14 febr. To deliver. So i waited. And waited till my girlfriend would reply like thanks for it etc etc. Nothing. So i contacted the $#*!TIES CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!. First i waited 40 min. To get helped. After that those '' English '' mens doesnt even know english. And each question takes 20 min. For them to reply. PATHETIC. And they told me it will be delivered before 7 pm. So i waited waited waited. Nothing... Messaged again. What does he does? He exit the Live Chat. So i called Skype / UK nothing. So i tried Live Chat again. And again same Indian. Who told me '' I am sorry '' shall we try tomorrow?

Terrible! Do not ever use them! Tried to send a gift basket from US to Sweden. Promised the delivery would be from 10am till 7pm local time in Sweden. Customer support told me it was on the truck getting delivered. That was a lie, called 1-800 number to verify after basket was not even delivered at 7:30pm. Was then told the basket was never on the truck and was out of stock till the following week. Guy on the phone wasn't even very helpful or sorry for the hassle. Do not use them!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER A DISASTER AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
A COMPLETE RIP-OFF STAY AWAY FROM THESE CRIMINALS. After ordering I contacted their live chat to check if really it would be delivered on the specified date and they confirmed that it would be delivered on time
On the date of the delivery they call my fiance and yell and insult her over the speaker phone and they don't deliver if this isn't enough and to further insult us the day after what they deliver is a bunch of flowers that looked right out of a garbage disposal bin all wilted and dry, after contacting them I still haven't received a refund or response from these crooks.

We ordered a gift basket for relatives in California on November 30. Delivery was promised by December 6. On Dec. 22 my wife found out that no gift had arrived and emailed this company. The reply said that an unexpected glich had happened and they could not promise delivery by Christmas. Today (New Years eve) it is still not delivered and I raised cane with customer service. All that got me was a snotty response and a UPS tracking link that shows that the order was processed on December 30 and promising delivery on January 8. Sure wish I had checked out this website first. STAY AWAY OR BE DISAPPOINTED!

Ordered a Cheese Basket for family in Melbourne to be delivered on 24th December. Finally after I contacted them, a box arrived A WEEK LATE with NO CHEESE, only Chocolates and Shortbread and some Chutney, no use whatsoever for my family there. Besides, when it was delivered no-one was at home, because - guess what - now that Christmas was over, everyone had gone back to work, so my daughter had to collect it from the Post Office.
Having paid rather a lot of money, I'm furious about it all.
I contacted the number in England, but couldn't understand the gentleman I spoke to, so it wasn't much use giving him a piece of my mind. I thought some compensation might be in order...

I ordered three separate gift deliveries for Christmas a week before Xmas. One was delivered late the other two are still undelivered a week AFTER Xmas... I didn't even get the courtesy of a notification that they had f&cked up. I am now looking like an idiot my family think I forgot and they are not any the wiser.
