Terrible

Terrible.
At first when I stumbled across this site I thought HOORAY! This site is awesome! It had an amazing beer gift basket I wanted to give to my boyfriend's brother in law (as he loves beer and who wouldn't want that?!)
I ordered it on 12/15 and it was supposed to be sent to my house on 12/19.
12/19 came and passed with no delivery.
On 12/20 I called the number and it took me 5 times before I could connect to someone named George, who sounded like he was in a call center in India.
George was pleasant, said the order had been processed and he was trying to touch base with the carrier to see where it was and he would let me know.
8 hours later I heard nothing. So I called again. Got George again. He said the same thing to me that he had earlier.
I sent an email to customer support. At 3 am I received an email back from Sarah saying they apologize but they missed my order completely and never processed it. She said they can still deliver it but it won't get there until 12/27.

I told them to cancel my order and refund me my money.

Seems very shady and I would not order through them again.
They guarantee on time delivery, etc. Not the best. Use with caution if at all.

Ordered gift on 9th December a Christmas present - delivery 2-5 business days. 23rd Dec item still not delivered. Constantly go through to an indian call centre who give you the runaround. STAY AWAY DONT USE THEM! Now contacting my credit card company to get involved.

I order a gift and its been more then a week. Everytime i call them or talk to them they say it wil b today and they gaurantee it. Its a fake web site cheating people around the world please dont use it.

My brother ordered on giftsnideas.com on 04/12/2013 for my birthday. We paid $135 to deliver in UK and they promised to call before any delivery on 6th Dec. We did not received delivery and any call from delivery company. We then contact to customer service dept on UK number and then call was diverted to India. Customer service representative with fake name and fake identity attended. We ask to check order status but he advised that we tried to deliver on time on same day about 4 times and 4 cards left and also tried to call us 4 times. Reality is they never come to our house to deliver the order and never called us.
We contact to customer service many times but no one know anything.
They are not going to give any status and refund of our order.
THEY ARE COMPLETELY FAKE AND PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS WEBSITE AND COMPANY.
They are operating in UK and UK number are showing in their website but they don't have any UK address.
FAKE! SCAM! FAKE!...

They say that they will deliver a bottle of vodka to Saudi Arabia.
When I asked their chat support rep, how they can deliver alcohol in saudi, the disconnected... this happened bat 3 times...
They are fake and will scam you.
BTW, alcohol is illegal in Saudi... wonder how they claim that they will deliver alcohol to saudi!

I ordered a chocolate cake worth around 45 dollars worth 1 week in advance of the delivery date. On the day of delivery, they sent me an email telling me that they had to exchange the cake for another one because it was not available. So ok, I thought they'd exchange it with something at least worth the original cake. I found out from the recipient that what they delivered was no where close to what the original cake was. It was a Red Ribbon cake (a brand I wanted to avoid because the recipient didn't like their cakes) and it was 1/4 of the price (not even half the price) of the original cake. I contacted customer service and they told me that I couldn't get a refund because they CLEARLY showed the price on the website and therefore it's MY FAULT. Needless to say, avoid this site at all costs. It is a scam. Hopefully other's will not be as gullible as me to believe in this website's words...

Cancelled the order and i get a refund 10 days. No contact or anything. I contacted customer service online chat and they told me it was cancelled because their supplier didn't have it. Order was supposed to be received 2-3 days after placement and i find out it was cancelled 10 days later.

Hello, I had the worst experience from this website. Not only did the package get delivered a week after they said it would be delivered but it was also delivered to the neighbor of the recipient who thought it was theirs and had opened it because of this. The Customer Service is useless and was unable to provide me any information on why this occured, they only said that since the package was delivered that they recieved what you requested. Awful, and rude customer service. Worst company i have ever worked with in the past.

A Wedding Anniversary was ordered, including a roses and a bottle of Champagne, they delivered ahead of the instructed time, and changed by their own the bottle of Champagne for a box of chocolates without any notice. The USA provided numbers are diverted to an India company that are absolute useless, timeless answered and provided a bunch of lies about the delivery and the reason for not fulfill the order, basically a problem with their counterpart in Canada. This company should be banned from any serious E Commerce community and should avoided by any buyer looking for a positive experience. The allegedly manager of the company must learn new excuses and try to be a little bit serious on his customer satisfaction they ruin the E Commerce experience.

I ordered a luxury food hamper from giftsnideas.com (included cheese, cake, spreads) weeks prior to the date that I wanted the anniversary gift to be delivered to my partner in the UK. After the delivery was not made on the date I requested I began chasing up several customer service representatives about why it was not delivered on time as it completely ruined our anniversary. After requesting a refund and being told for many days that someone would be in contact with me regarding a solution I finally received an email from them. This email was sent to me FIVE DAYS after they delivered the hamper to the WRONG apartment in my partners complex and someone else had signed for it. As they failed to contact me sooner the food has had 5 days to spoil and they refuse to compensate me because they said they won't refund if its already been delivered. This is not to mention the fact that I do not expect them to give a package worth $230 to any stranger that signs for it. I frequently send packages overseas to my partner and this is absolutely the most unprofessional and fraudulent company I have ever dealt with. They delivered the package AFTER I requested a refund and then told me I couldn't be compensated because it was already sent. I highly recommend that you DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Ordered a gift for my girlfriend who is living in Beijing, China. The gift got there exactly when I wanted it (I asked for it to be delivered within a 2 hour window, which I mentioned in the notes). The flowers looked really nice and were bigger than the picture portrayed them, the teddy bear was cute and soft, and the wine has not yet been consumed. The only complaint I have is that the delivery man called my GF an hour before he arrived just to be sure she was home; kind of ruined the surprise. Yes, they're a little on the pricey side, but the presentation is good, the gifts seem pretty high quality, and the delivery was right on time. I would use this service again.

On March 24th, I ordered an Easter gift for my niece who is miles away from home, to be delivered within 1 -4 business days. So order should have arrived max on Fri, but I chatted online and they asked for 24 hrs because delivery service was closed for Easter. Emailed them on Mon(after Easter), they said were checking with delivery service and asked again for 24 hrs. On Tues I asked for refund, they asked for 24 hrs again. Wed, I said I didn't want to know why item was not delivered, I said that was a problem between them and the local store, and I just wanted the refund. They guaranteed it would not be delivered but asked for another 24 hrs again before refund authorization. On Friday(5 days after Easter, 11 days after order!) they sent me an email saying order was delivered. I checked and order was sent on Mon Apr 1st! That means, after I complained! AND, they told me order would NOT be delivered but refunded. How disappointing! Besides not complying with what they promised, they lied! I DID NOT want item to be delivered anymore! R I D I C U L O U S! STAY AWAY...

This is a complete SCAM, please beware. I am out $107 USD right now and countless hours of my time out the window. Same situation as others, order never delivered. Live Chat Reps said the same thing, concerned department will take a look at it, it's one big script that they copy and paste... I bet they will never even look at it. Just closed the Live Chat window because Rep LEFT the chat session, I have proof of this, I took a screenshot. I have copy of chat sessions stating the refund will be initiated but still don't see any movement, nor any communications from this so called company with any sort of status update... Oh yeah, 24x6 customer service? Maybe they should put a disclaimer that it's 24x6 Philippines time, the Rep today said that at 11am EST there was no one who could approve the refund AND it's not a business day, so what 24x6 customer service if they don't in fact work the 6th day? I had placed an order last year which was delivered, that's the messed up part, I already trusted these people so whoever reads this, if you think it may be a one-off error, think again, I would have given them 5 stars last year just like the people from previous posts. Unless I receive a full refund, I will not take back my words!

I placed an order on the 8th of Feb for Valentine's day, it's already the 19th and my boyfriend still has not received the package. I emailed couple of times and tried the live chat but always not getting a response! I have also tried to call many times but there were no answer, even the voicemail was always full! Very frustrating and disappointing! I now just want my money back! THIS IS A REAL SCAM so beware!

I made an order for more than one item, the items delivery was delayed, not everything got delivered, i was overcharged, the sales reps don't do as they are instructed with regards to making corrections to delivery address though after i further corrected them, they eventually corrected the address. Also a sales rep, was very rude to me when i asked him what had happened to my order, when i contacted them on skype. The staff are slow, they have typing errors, the company lie on their website that the delivery is on time and that they get full customer satisfaction, when chatting to sales reps they take too long, when replying. Their internet connection is poor. The company says they are available 24/6 (not 24/7) which is rather peculiar. This website needs to be taken down and this company ought to be closed, don't trust them, they will lie to you about orders, etc. Also be careful as this company stores your credit card details, and you as a customer cannot remove them, i think you either have to request for the company to remove the details, or either you have to close your account. I stress that everyone stays away from this website.

Honestly i ordered something to be delivered on the 13th February a day before Valentines Day and no one is answering my emails. I have tried to call the so called Customer Service line *******697 and it is busy or goes to a full mailbox. Furthermore I tried Skype no one is available there. Yesterday I tried the Livechat thing and someone spoke to me and was taking 5 minutes to respond to each question I posed. The person Alex said the exact same things that all of the users complained about below. Now I tried to confirm delivery today and no one is available. This is a REAL SCAM! STAY AWAY!

I paid online with my debit card. On the day that my gift was supposed to be delivered to my girlfriend, it never came. I chatted online with a service representative who then informed me that debit cards are not an accepted payment method, even though it told me that my payment went through successfully on the day of purchase. I received no emails alerting me of this very odd situation. Never have I came across a website that doesn't allow debit cards to be processed as credit cards, and then to make matters worse, not even let me know. Awful website. I should have looked at reviews before ordering from there. Please, everyone, save your time, money, and frustration for something else.

I ordered a hot chocolate gift box to be delivered to my Daughter in Switzerland for Christmas with a guaranteed delivery date. It did not arrive and the distribution company web site was unusable so eventually it was delivered in January to my daughter's office. She was dismayed to find the saucer was broken making the cup and saucer set useless. The "concerned department have so far offered $12 as compensation as they are unable to supply a replacement saucer. NOT EVEN A THOUGHT OF MAKING AMMENDS. Totally useless
