I placed an order for an egift card, bought by using my PayPal account, Ive definitely been charged the $105.95 for the $100 gift card yet when I go to check status of it on the site it says my order was cancelled? WTF? SO did I just get robbed?
I purchased 2 gift cards with PayPal but was giftcards.com also charged my bank account the same amount. So I was charged double. Giftcard.com won't release my money back to me as of yet. I have bought from them a few times with no problems until now. I am posting this review on every review site I can until they release my money that the never should have taken in the first place.
Able to put money onto the card, unable to take money off. Everytime I call has a different excuse. No way to get money back.
We have been a loyal customer of Giftcards.com for over 5 years. We spend thousands and thousands of dollars year after year with them. We use the gift cards for our customers and employees. Very rarely do we have any issues. Recently a customer of ours thought he lost his gift card, he then found it but noticed it had expired. He was very upset. I asked if giftcards.com would please cancel and then reissue a new card since it was never used and it's very rare we have requested something like this. We understood there would be a processing fee. Then today I received an email stating that my case request was denied. I am asking them to reconsider and reissue the unused gift card we purchased.
Do not use this service. They take your money and never received gift card. Tried calling cannot get any one to speak to, automated person. Finally started chat and the person I chatted with was no help, extremely rude and impatient.
After three weeks I have not received cards ($500 worth!) nor have I received tracking information I was promised. I am beginning to think this is a fraudulent practice of Giftcards.com.
Stupid rule that they charge dormancy fee after purchase and not wait until the card is activated or wait until expiry
I haven't received my payment to my PayPal card I sold my gift card.kgiftcard.com. My gift card was from. Guitar center for the amount of 68.89 I sold it. I never received payment.
$200 e-gift card never worked. Confirmed $200 balance and activated but keeps getting rejected upon payment. Contacted customer service multiple times who have confirmed $200 balance and activation, but do not help. Actually told me to contact the person to gifted it to me and then HUNG UP ON ME. Bought a gift card for Instacart thru this company and have no clue how to redeem. They make it nearly impossible. Had to contact my bank for FRAUD! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
Please do not use this company! I bought about $1100 worth of gift cards to give to my clients as gifts throughout the year. I thought it would make sense to get my company logo on the card and that's why this solution for gifts made sense. Just recently, I started to get notifications from my clients that these gift cards were getting rejected at the store. I was embarrassed to find out that there was expiration dates on the cards. This means that not only did my clients not get to spend the money, there was no way for me to get my money back. So instead of giving money to my clients I gave my hard earned money to these scammers because of an arbitrary expiration date they created on their cards. This business very likely makes most of its money by people not using the cards they sell in time. They just got an extra 700$ from me. They take the money and keep it. I requested a refund and the said no. So now its review time. Don't give these people your hard earned money!
This company is a total scam. They steal money from the card holders by charging a bogus monthly fee due to non use. This is not disclosed ANYWHERE on the card. We are given a gift card with a validity of 5+ years, nobody said we have, "days" to use our money or forfeit it to their fees. Total sham! Let your employers know and whoever else gifts them to you so they can avoid using them in the future.
What a disappointment. When I read their eGiftCard ad, I immediately tried to purchase one. Got an immediate confirmation... followed by a denial, no explanation. I called, tried to get an understanding from management. They were not "allowed" to tell me anything. Interesting that I had just successfully purchased a different vendor's eGiftCard without any trouble. I'll never use their services again.

Bought these as gifts for employees birthdays, the last three where worthless when employees got around to using them.
Giftcards.com has a policy that if isn't, should be illegal. I'll be contacting my attorney general to get more information.
I was given a $100 gift card in 2021. I used it a few times but had over $25 left on the card. Per their policy, on the first day of the 13th month of non-use they will begin taking $4.95
Finding it again and prepared to use it I discovered they charged me over $25 the last few months.

Beware of the massive fees on these gift cards! Don't save the card for a rainy day. I was gifted a card late and it already had funds taken out and customer service was no help.
Bought a Google card and it didn't work. Contacted them. They said I had to deal with it through Google. So I contacted Google. Google said my card wasn't eligible for them to do anything on their end. Overall. Lost 25 bucks. Never buying through them again.
I bought a physical gift card for my sister in law for Christmas 2022. Not only did it arrive 4 weeks late, but there's no one to call- emails take at least 48 hours to be responded to - and customer support is terrible. Please buy elsewhere.
Answer: This happened to me also. My credit card company said they would do a fraud investigation.
