Placed an order for a virtual gift card to be sent to my daughter. Paid with my credit card. Got an e-mail that said my order was placed - another one to say it was canceled. Called right away as I needed to get this to my daughter and got some idiot on the phone who said I failed the screening process but couldn't tell me what that process was so I could correct it. He was very vague and very shady - I will be checking my CC statement to see if I get charged. If anyone at GiftCards is actually looking at this - my order number was *******
The support team is utterly incompetent, or purposefully shady. I had a problem with my order and they just seemed to refuse to help. I would recommend not using this service.
We found out our credit card had been compromised and used to order gift cards. We caught it early. We called them, told them, asked if the cards had gone out. They said they would stop the cards, not charge our account and look into it. They did none of three and I've had to call five times to get nowhere. I don't know if it's a scam they have, but it's ridiculous. They now say that they can't help. We have to contact bank. I don't trust that company at all. I can't believe how easy it was for scammers to steal from us and order cards and how hard it is for us to rectify the situation.
I sold a Tiffany's gift card. I was happy with the amount offered by giftcards.com I follow all of the instructions and within 2 days the funds were deposited into my paypal account. I would recommend this to anyone who would like to sell a giftcard
Here is what I think about it, the good idea, the nice looking interface, the buggy system and horrible customer service.
I went into giftcards.com, to buy a gift card for bloomingdales, on first purchase I choose two cards and only one went through, fine. Then I put second purchase, I click the link it sends me and it pops up nothing. I click the invoice, it says Price $0, value $0. So to me, it means the e gift card I purchased was some how bad. And because of that, I resubmit and order for another e gift card, same thing happened! This time I get doubt and I called customer service, they say there is an system error, but the gift card is under utilities -> Gift Manager.
Now the problem comes, because the invoice shows $0 and the link to card shows nothing. It causes me to buy additional ecodes that I do not need. I ask for a refund, and emphasizes that this is bad because I am buying sth with a wrong invoice! The customer service was ridiculously denying it and insists they do not want to refund the ecode. I am really disappointed about this, and I find some other ppl had called in with same issue (the customer service even say she spoke with me about the same issue already, apparently she recognizes me as someone else since it's the first time I call you.)

Purchased a gift card as a Christmas gift. First off was told it would get to me within 5 buisness days. Paid extra for a bit faster service. This was on the 7th of Dec. Shipped out on the 9th - did not get the card till day before Christmas and was late getting to where it had to go. I contacted first time- no response - contacted a second time after getting an email they would respond in 48 hours. Nope, Second time still nothing from them. I would never recommend this company to buy gift cards. Still no response btw. 0 stars. They even argue with you and remove reviews on their site if you are dissatisfied.Not ok when dealing with purchases.
I have not received the card I ordered on 12/19. I received two messages saying the order is confirmed and that it's on the way. I have sent a message to Tom Cribbs just now. I will update this review or, hopefully he will respond here.
I didn't complete checkout with them because they kept saying my card was invalid. Well, I still found a charge on it! Of course the customer service is incompetent. I don't know if I will see that money again. Waiting on my 50 word limit complain I sent to them. TERRIBLE COMPANY STAY AWAY.
HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE! They cancelled my order without notifying me. I didn't find out about it until I checked my credit card statement online and saw they had refunded me.
It's less than a week til Christmas Eve, and I now need to find another company to reorder one from and pray it gets to my gift recipient on time!
I did write to giftcards.com on their Facebook page about my experience with their service. Instead of replying to me, they simply deleted my post and blocked me! And I see they have a huge list of other complaints coming in, consistently, from other customers.

I sold them two gift cards since 11/18/2014. The value of the gift cards have been long used but I have been given the run around to get paid for my cards. First I was told one card could not be verified and I would have to wait 30 days to resubmit. In the meantime the value of my gift cards has been used by giftcards.com. I finally got paid for one but they keep running me around to pay me for my second card. I can't tell you how many " tickets" and supervisors I have spoken to. My next step is the Attorney General's office. This is fraud!

This item was "shipped" on the 28 October by USPS First Class Mail (no tracking number provided as stated by their terms, and 5-10 wait). This item never arrived. I have received postal mail from around the world and around the US faster then this item supposedly took to ship- only this gift card NEVER arrived. After contacting the company they have advised they will refund my item minus $4.95 cancellation fee. There is no proof to show this company even shipped my item to begin with and they will now charge me a fee for an item I never even received. As a company they have a responsibility to ensure an item is received- and received within a reasonable amount of time. Claiming that once it is shipped by USPS it is out of their control is absolute rubbish. I do believe this is a scam and advise people to buy online from sites like Walmart and Target and forget the "personalisation" factor of giftcards.com ITS NOT WORTH IT
The customer support is beyond incompetent. They tried to scam me for $500.00. My bank finally credited me the money and warned me to never do business with this incompetent company.
DOOY NOT BUY MASTERCARD GIFT CARD,
There was an unauthorized and fraudulent charge of $100.00 on my MasterCard Gift card so I called the company and requested a credit back of $100.00
It first took 45 days yes 45 days to review my case and that is after me writing letters and faxing claim forms, after 45 days they said that my case is not closed yet so they need 5 more days to close the case and on top of that they need another 14 days touest for a new card to be sent to me.
That is a total of 64 days to get my $100.00 refunded.
It is their responsibility to prevent fraudulent activity and give a better service to costumers, but they failed to do so at the expense of the consumers.
I will never buy this gift card again.

Tried to buy two gift cards on this site. Giftcards.com determined that there were invalid amounts on the cards and said that I would receive a refund for the amount. That has been over a month ago and despite two phone calls to try and resolve it, I still don't have a refund. I have now disputed the charges on my credit card so I'm sure I will get the money back thanks to my credit card company but it has been a time consuming hassle. Do not shop here, it is a scam. I'm assuming they are trying to take advantage of people who don't keep a close watch on their charges and will just pay the bill.
I recently sold them my giftcard and choose to recive my money by paypal. They sent me an email saying my card is vaild but didnt send me my paypal payment. I emailed, no reply. I called, no reply.
Answer: This happened to me also. My credit card company said they would do a fraud investigation.
