Really good price and felt the hotel reflected what I had spent. However I know prices tend to fluctuate depending on season, so would not have been v. impressed if I had paid a lot more as there were elements that could have been improved. My shower did not work properly, the shower was also rusty. The dinning room was very dated in its interior. Plus sides were the central location, nice and clean, and the interiors of the rooms were fairly neutral.
Was charged extra money by hotel beyond taxes n other fees.
Never gonna repeat same mistake of doing business with you guys again.
The booking was VERY easy and we received confirmation immediately.
Now we just need to see how it goes when we check in on the 19th!

Very helpful in securing best rates! When I was on hold we got disconnected. I like that they called me right back bc I was frustrated by then and would not have continued booking! Wait time was a bit long
Failed to mention that the hotel requires a deposit for locals. We were in need of a room while heater was being repaired. Still waiting on a refund.
Easy and wonderful... if i went thru Hyatt there was no refund and i needed to change my dates... using Get A room i was able to change my dates no problem
THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND WHEN YOU GET TO YOUR HOTEL ITS BOOKED. THEY OVERBOOKED. YOU WILL NEVER GET A REFFUND FROM THEM EITHER. WE PREBOOKED WEEKS AHEAD ALSO. ITS A BIG SCAM. IT SOUNDS LEGIT BUT ITS NOT! UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY FOR A ROOM AND NOT GET IT.
Called to book a room for my brother in laws wedding and asked them for the wedding block and discount. They said they gave me the discount and charged me for $640 for 2 nights. I asked my mother in law right after I hung up if that was correct and she said it should have been $320. I called back two minutes later and they said they could not change my reservation. I asked to speak with PETER's supervisor and he hung up. I will never use them again.
Pleasant but felt rushed to book on the spot. Send email to get confirmation whether or not this reservation includes breakfast and shuttle without extra fees. Still have not receive a email back to confirm this booking.
Received excellent referral to an excellent suite (Crystal Inn). Getaroom service was great, will use it again
I will never book any holidays with yourselves. I have been charged over £60 in charges for a cancellation. No fees are mentioned at the of booking.

I eventually received some excellent service after a challenging experience where I tried to book directly with a hotel and each time i ended up with GetARoom although I could not really tell until you get a confirmation email. When i cancelled they charged me for the room. Although it said they follow the hotel cancellation policy, in the small print it said it was not refundable. Thank you GetARoom for a good recovery and polite and helpful customer service.
I thought I was booking on hotel site and then I find out the room is non-refundable. Called customer service number and was given a ticket number for a supervisor to call and never received a call.

I got an email confirming that the room I booked 5 months ago, for next week, has been cancelled. But I DIDN'T CANCEL IT!
I spoke to Adrian, who didn't seem really concerned with my issue. He couldn't tell me how it could have been cancelled, couldn't fix it, and couldn't even get a supervisor to help me out. He said he would send me an email that I could respond to, and someone would call me in a couple days. Not acceptable! And I never got an email!
I ended up booking at another hotel - paying $50 more for a room that's not nearly as nice. This was handled very poorly. If I could give Adrian a score, I would give him a -10.
I like to work with the hotel directly. In this case there was no refund. If plans change I think it fair to cancel with in 48 hours. Most hotels allow this but if the purchase is final your hands are tied.

Very professional and efficient person set this up and explained thoroughly. Down from 5 stars because I wasn't informed that this service was going to increase my anticipated costs. However, I feel well taken care of: it's all down and documented, all set up. I don't have to wrangle with hotel staff. It probably would have come to same price anyway. Small price tag, as advertised, was deceptive, and I ended up paying more anyway.
I haven't checked-in yet but the room was priced very competitively and completing the reservation was easy. If I don't reply back then I would recommend.
I found using the site very simple. The entire booking process was quick and efficient. I am looking forward to my upcoming trip!
Answer: They are not ethical. For me, they used a website that appeared to be the actual hotel website, did not identify themselves when they should have, and did not mention booking fees while they charged a 30 percent booking fee for a room that was its normal price. They were supposed to cancel charges on my credit card and did not. STAY AWAY!
Answer: They are a site attached to Trip Advisor---- if you see them on screen while trying to book a room-- hit cancel. I'm out over $150 because of their fraudulent cancellation policy.
Answer: Thought I was booking on the actual hotel sight but was deceived in as much as it was Getaroom. Talked to someone else also staying at this hotel at the same for about a third less. Called them right back and had already charged my card and it would be up to 3 weeks to refund. That's about what it took but did get refund. Then checked reviews and no one had anything good to say about getaroom. Go straight to hotel sight of one you know and trust or stick with something like Travelocity.
Answer: I'm definitely in. There's something very deceptive, if not illegal, when you start off on a hotel's website and when you click Make a Reservation, it somehow transfers you to the GetARoom site without your knowledge. I had no idea this was done until I received their email confirmation. I'm thinking of contacting my state's Consumer Protection Div. Of the AG's Office to file a complaint when I get back from vacation.

Answer: Wow. This is one bad company. Made a reservation and then needed to cancel. They gave cancel date all along. I called to cancel on that date and was told that date was only for 1 minute of date they told me. I was supposed to forfeit one night's cost. Luckily I made reservation on AMEX and they'll tell this fraud company to get lost. Moral of the story: make reservations through hotel.
