Basically i live in egypt, but i wanted to purchase a camera for my uncle that lives in France. I ordered a Xiaomi Yi camera, The US Edition because the china edition is $#*! compared to it.
Basically after a day they messaged me on my email asking for ID and Visa confirmation becaause their "risk department" needs them for our own "privacy aand safety." (they need prove that im like real or i own the visa) i gave them everything and after that they messaaged me back after waaiting for their reply for like 20hours+ they simply replied telling me the risk department declined the order and they will refund my money. ("the order is still in the UNPAID Section till now!") - Okay then, i have been waiting for my goddamn refund for 4 days and they still did not refund my $#*!ing money, my uncle will leave the country soon for business deals and they are $#*!ing us up with their ignoring (Messages/mails/live chat useless talks).
I have no $#*!ing idea what to do now like, they make me $#*!ing beg for my money back!, i'm seriously sorry about the swearing.
EDIT: Day 6, the order is not removed yet from the unpaid section somehow, i spoke to them in a livechat yesterday and told them if i didnt get my money i'll report their website because i have evidence of everything they kept on replying with please message the presales for your payment.
Today i spoke to them on their facebook page telling them i want my money now im not going to wait for more. They replied with my message has been sent to the customer service to look right into it. Still nothing happened till now. Lets see.

I tried to buy a phone with this company. They advertised a phone with a 72% discount. The first time they would not let me pay. I checked with visa. Turned out Geekbuying did not even try to collect payment. So I tried again. This time I paid the order, but found out Geekbuying confirmed a different phone. I e-mailed but did not receive an answer to the question the replied on. So I called everything would be OK, they would send the phone I ordered in the first place.
They however did not. Geekbuying e-mailed that the phones were the same. I e-mailed again explaining the differences. No reaction. Eventually the tod me again the phones are the same. I orderd a Zuk Z2 pro while they confirmed a Zuk Z2. These are very different phones. Eventually I called 3 times to China. Only then did they tell me there was a mistake. However they would e-mail me about it.
Geekbuying then e-mailed they made a mistake with pricing the phone. If I would pay $ 282,00 extra they would sent me the phone Almost twice what they advertised with. So no way. I had to e-mail several times, call three times to China before they admitted their mistake. In the Netherlands they sent you the phone for the price they advertised. Apparently customerservice is very different in China.
So Warning never buy from Geekbuying
As you can see Geekbuying now responded. Too bad, that from the moment I e-mailed them I gave them 2 options
1. Deliver the phone I wanted and ordered in the first place
2. Return my money.
Geekbuying just kept trying to sent me the phone I did not want and did not order.
Other thing, I explained with every contact the screensize isn't the only difference. The phone I want Zuk z2 pro supports the 4g frequencies I need in the Netherlands, the Zuk Z2 doesn't.
I am truly disappointed in the reaction of Geekbuying. If the they wanted to return the money, they could have done this immediately as I asked!

Sorry about the issue. As this item is a new Model and our Product editor wrote ZUK pro 5.2 inch by mistake, but all the rest of the specification are the same except for the size difference. After we found out the mistake when we get the item in hand, we noticed customers by email and also adjust the on line specification.

I purchased a phone from these guys almost a year ago, I sent it in for repairs three months ago and these guys are SNEAKY, and underhanded. I've never dealt with such an unprofessional company. I had to ship the product back right before the chinese new year and then wait 3 months for it to get back to me, which was the most ridiculous thing ever. A 2 month holiday? Are you serious? Then, once the product arrived, WITH scratches on the screen not caused by me, and the fact that I couldn't even login, I had to send it back a second time, wait a month for them to repair it, and I WAS PROMISED it would have the screen fixed, and for all the inconvenience they would send me a case with it, they did not do that either. Some of the worst, most unorganized technical support. After all of this, they offered me a 4% off coupon? Yeah because that's worth the trouble of 6 months of hassle. They didn't even refund me the money for the shipping, they refunded it to the original payment method, which I no longer have access to. They couldn't just send it to my PayPal? WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! DO NOT BUY FROM GEEEKBUYING!

Ordered a phone with delivery 5-7 days with TNT.
After a few days, once they had my money in the bank, they tell me they can ship it with TNT and can offer CHINA POST 30-45 Days, *******@inbelievable. So I asked if they can deliver to my Hong Kong address and i will sort the shipping from there. OH NO! They don't know anyway to ship in their own country... absolute bollox! So now its 2 weeks and i am promised a refund and still waiting! NEVER ORDER FROM THESE IDIOTS

I made an order (#*******) there and the said the package was out... they sent me a fake DHL tracking code. I wrote te ask why this code was not walking on DHL website and they talk this may take some time but a week after nothing...
8 days after they sent me an email asking for additionnal $32 payment for shipping once all the card have been paid at checkout.

Yes the price is really good here, but the products and the customer services are really bad. I got a defected product and only got 50% refund and another product didn't arrive until almost 4 months after; they won't take any responsibilities for your lost. You are on your own. Good luck.
A few years ago they where OK company. But now they are only SCAMMERS. I brought from their spanish site, thinking the product is in Europe. I was asked to pay 40 euro shipping tax. Paid for everything and i was expecting to get the product in 2-5 business days. But No, I sent a email to them asking what happens with my order, and they said they just sent the product and are sorry for the delay. After another 3 days I get another email asking for another 40 euro shipping and my ID.
I am really sure they don't need my ID to ship something from Europe to Europe (inside EU) and paying a total of 80 euro for shipping from Spain to Sweden I think is more than 7 times the normal shipping price for 7 days delivery.

WINDOWS 10 is not an authorized copy!
The hardware is great, I love it. Runs KODI like a charm. However it is advertised as a Windows 10 mini PC with Windows. It has a "copy" of Windows on it. It works for about 3-4 weeks and then you constantly get messages that you do not have an authorized copy of windows. Geekbuying will not help me with this at all. They admitted it is a copy and not authorized. However they will not get me an authorization code. Their offer to me is a 5.00 coupon and a 5.00 refund! I was sold a PC that was suppose to have an authorized OS on it. It doesn't. This is false advertising at it's best! Geekbuying has lost my business as well as so many more that I will tell about this. Also Microsoft will be hearing about this as well.
I ordered a phone UMI Touch from geekbuying for over two weeks now. No communication, nothing. The live chat link does't even work. No response to email. I checked the tracking site and it says that my order has been processed in my country Nigeria, but I haven't received any phone. These guys are scam artistes. $146 gone, just like that. There should be an international regulatory body that can shut down online scam artistes like Geekbuying.com

After an awful experience at gearbest.com i tried geekbuying which had some bad reviews I found later. But I got the equipment (cube iwork10) and all worked well.
Get the shipping insurance, as it's cheap and that tends to make sure things work out better in past experiences with out of country importing.
There was a slight delay that they informed me of albeit without details of exactly how long. It turned out to be a couple days.
I used the wxpedited shipping and DHL got the package here fast, 3business days, seriously! I was amazed.
The product was wrapped in foam for extra protection, (maybe because I got the shipping insurance? Maybe that's there standard way.)
That gave me a good feeling about these guys.
The reason not a 5 are due to the delay when coupled with no approx of time.
However YMMV, 1 shipment does not make a pattern but good prices and this transaction worked out.

Its a shame that a company that actually was able to tell me that they had the item I wanted in stock (as apposed to other sites that lied about that) shipped me a great looking, and beautiful new computer only to not follow up with me by email. I have repeatedly tried to contact the company but they have not replied. They did send one reply a week after I sent them a request... but thats it. I dont have time to wait a month or two for them to get their act together. I need that computer now - I am on my way to purchase at Best Buy so i can walk into a store and talk to a human. This buying from China is BS. They just dont get what it means to have a bad reputation by not having good service.

Bought a chuwi 8 inch tablet from geekbuying. The tablet came in real good cond. But would not work, sent back to them at my cost, according to the geekbuying policy. I should have received a refund,,, never happened! Now they have my money, my postage and the chuwi tablet. Beware of this company... In all fairness i received the tablet back after 2 months and it works fine. The problem seems to be when the company sends a bad product the returns are really awful...
