I made my first purchase on FragranceX for a perfume I have worn for years. The advertised picture is for the more expensive EDP but when you go to order, it is a tiny picture that you dont realize is for the cheaper EDT (pic1). They don't even sell the more expensive EDP version. I can go to multiple places and get the EDT version cheaper (pic2). I wrote the company and was advised "It's always a good practice to read the label of the perfume carefully before making a purchase to ensure it matches your expectations." My response would be it is always good business practice to put the actual picture of what you are selling and not a picture of a product that is not even available. Sephora, Macys, Walmart, etc dont seem to have this problem and use false advertising when selling and ONLY use picture of what they are actually selling. Shoddy and deceptive business practice. Will be returning.

I had my second purchase detained at Customs and it appears that the commercial invoice company's data for my purchase did not match and that I had to send the information and financial transactions, which Fragrancex does not do. Had Two Orders Worth Around $400 CAD. Didn't liked the products and initiated a return knowing that they will charge $10 for return lable. Sent the parcels back and delivered. After More than two weeks no refund received. Contacted them and they told me that i will receive refund and taxes will not be refunded. This is the first company i had to deal with which doesn't refund your taxes stating that they pay taxes to customs and they are non-refundable. Contacted the customs department they asked for an import slip or landing bill or some sort of information related to parcels to proceed with Customs tax refund but this crap company doesn't even provide any information related to my parcels to proceed with customs process. Lost Around $90 CAD for no reason including Return label and Taxes. And they don't have anything related to non-refundable taxes on their website. Total scam, if you need to return items get ready to lose money.
