Reliable, quick, good price

I've used Forward2me for 2 years now to ship from Japan to the UK. They register parcels within a day and once all my items have arrived they ship them to me with low shipping costs through DHL. If I have any issues the friendly team email me in English. Couldn't ask for a better service :)

Great service that made it so easy!

I found wallpaper in England selling for 1/3 of what it was at Pottery Barn, William Sonoma, Perigold, and other US sites. I purchased it from a website in England, and had it sent to "forward to me" and it was forwarded to me in the US for about $60. I saved hundreds of dollars!

There seems to be an issue where the system automatically moves parcels into the **Combine and Repack** process even though we did not request this service. In some cases, the system also classifies items as **hazardous materials**, even when they are not — for example, **automotive shock absorbers**, which are normally allowed for international shipping without restriction. Carriers such as **FedEx** and **DHL** are able to ship these items without any problem or special declaration.

Shock absorbers are sometimes classified as hazardous materials because they can contain compressed gas or oil under pressure, which poses a potential risk of leakage, combustion, or explosion during air transport. Even though many models are safe and meet carrier requirements, our system automatically flags them as hazardous out of caution and in accordance with international shipping regulations such as IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations.

We are currently investigating why the system is automatically moving certain parcels into the Combine and Repack process even when this service has not been requested.

I would like to sincerely thank Kyla and the Forward2me team for the prompt and professional handling of my issue throughout this entire period. My problem was caused by a mistake made by a shipping company regarding the customs clearance of my package, and I was not responsible for it. Without their support and involvement, the issue would not have been resolved.

Very Inconsistent Service

Based on several US and UK uses of Forward2Me; the service provided is very inconsistent. Forward2Me's determination on requirement for repackaging depends largely on the individual who processes the package. Optimized-for-safety packaging provided varied significantly (from: very good, to basic, to rather poor for cost charged). Camera auto-recognition of tracked items failed for approximately 35% of items. Uploaded invoices order-details were deleted for a number of items (no means to re-upload said despite being prompted to do so). Calculation of 'Duty' at checkout hasn't been correct. Item descriptions and HS codes assigned by Forward2Me haven't always been correct and resulted in additional costs (Taxes/Duties) on the buyer.

My experience

This was my first time using a package forwarding service which had me wondering how it would work out. Overall I had a great experience. After some initial confusion about having to pick re-packaging of my shipment twice(as it came in teo volumes) it sorted itself out by the end. I would have liked a more definite option to say I want to keep what was in my shipment in it's original packaging paper, but that is only a minor thing. Website and experience throughout was good. Would use the service again!

Great Forwarding Service

Easy to use and clear, frequent communication from Forward2Me to keep me up to date with the whereabouts of my product order, makes this service offering a pleasure.
I ordered a number of products from different locations in Europe and it was neatly repacked and shipped within a short space of time. The only complaint is the expensive courier charges from the business partners such as Fedex and DHL which defeats the purpose of having an offshore address and packaging service.

Absolute scammers

They used to be good. Now everything I ship thru them(it's always been small unbreakable music accessories) are held and news "repacking". This doubles my cost for a plastic item.that weighs 0.2kg. Once repacking is required it doubles your shilling costs as the cheaper economical options disappear. Even when weiting this, they had 185 packages waiting to be repacked and increasing very quickly (up by 15 packages). Will never use them again as customer service is useless.
