Jamie, from the forward2me U. K. team, was extremely helpful in assisting me with my shipping requirements for a very small, lightweight package. It took some careful communication, by e-mail, for me to relay my particular requirements for the delivery of the package, but Jamie was very accommodating and understanding and managed to satisfy these requirements. I highly recommend forward2me for shipping parcels internationally. I have been receiving packages from forward2me for many years. Sent a package from the UK main warehouse to Spain and it got stuck in customs. FedEx was useless in solving the problem. Julie from forward2you customer service was very helpful. She provided me with the documents I needed to send and the package was on it's way the next day.

We have used Forward2me on several occasions, and when everything goes smoothly, the process seems very simple and straightforward.
However, subsequent experiences have highlighted the challenges that can arise when the process is not as anticipated. In our case, we experienced issues on two separate occasions with our shipping courier.
This happened with our most expensive and fragile shipments.
It was clear that the packages were highly susceptible to damage during various stages of the shipping process. It is clear that large, non-standard packages are susceptible to damage during transportation, including being bent, dropped, bumped, scraped, soaked and dragged around before arriving. Dealing with these couriers can consume a lot of time including evidence gathering such as videos and pictures, finding the right person to call in the courier service, waiting for long periods trying to call them, numerous emails back and forth, and monitoring their response. Chasing them because they will forget your case.
In such situations, forward2me has proven to be an invaluable asset. The forward2me team, led by Aimee and Girlie, played a crucial role in streamlining the process, saving us time and effort. They ensure that insurance is in place for all items, that all relevant information is properly communicated and filed with the courier, and that the courier is aware of their responsibilities. They also provide regular updates throughout the process. Significant time saved due to not having to deal directly with the couriers, has allowed us to focus on our own projects

So I had one hardcover book that shipped from the UK and was repacked and forwarded to me in Canada. The process was easy and the packing was perfect. Package arrived safely. However the cheapest price was 40gpb which worked out to 70$ in shipping for a single book. More than double the cost of the original purchase.
Would love to use this more often but I will need to look for a cheaper option.
I needed to order some strange parts from France and the company would not deliver to the UK,Forward2Me made it quick and easy to froward the parts with no dramas.

The service provided by forward2me is top notch: I have used them several times and never had any issue, my parcels have always been reliably and quickly sent to me.

Once i figured out the address format for other countries the rest is easy and my account is permanent. I used it last year and again this year. Great workaround for when i find an item i want and it doesnt ship to the US
