Searching for flights was beginning to become cumbersome, I then discovered flight hub set an alert and within 3 days they found an amazing deal! I booked within minutes. Entire process took less than 5 min, super efficient.
When my flight booked through FlightHub was cancelled I was instructed to call them to discuss an update to my itinerary.
When I called them to ask for a refund on my cancelled flight, they informed me that funds were not possible for this flight but I could request a credit from the airline.
I did not consent to them requesting a credit on my behalf from my airline, opting instead to call the airline directly. None the less I was charged a 35$ handling fee for submitting the request and when I called to have it cancelled, I was informed it was not refundable. At no point during my call with FlightHub, when they were discussing credit options, was I informed that there was be a 35$ handling fee.
I feel taken advantage of during this Covid crisis. As so many flights are being cancelled, FlightHub is charging customers without their knowledge to request a credit from their airlines. You can call the airline directly to speak with them about a credit or refund.
I will never be using FlightHub again to book travel.
I booked 2 international flights through Flighthub for 20 Mar 2020. Because of the COVID pandemic the countries i had to visit closed their borders.
-I started calling and no one will answer the phone to get details if the flight will be canceled or not. So i decided to call Air Canada and was told to call Flight HUB. On the 17th of March 2020, i decided to cancel the flight on flighthub.com for which i was charged 75CAN for each ticket and told i would receive a refund within 4-6 weeks. When i finally got to speak to a flight hub agent today 14 May I was told they could not refund me.
While being stranded in a foreign country I was on the phone with "flighthub" for 3 straight days from morning till late at night trying to get a straight answer of how to change my flight. Airports were closing, authorities were declaring emergency pandemic measures, the Canadian government was urging people to come home while still possible. And flighthub "representatives" could not speak fluent English, were incredibly unqualified and lied straight when asked punctual questions. I was being transferred back and forth to the same person many times to my frustration. This cost me extra days at a hotel and another $1,000 CAD to Air Canada to eventually change my flight and catch the last available planes. This was a near-miss, I could have been stranded for two months with only options out of my pocket. Unreal... really BAD service, I was the impression this site is run by a group of teenagers in an apartament while trying foreign languages. I do NOT recommend. Pay a few hundred more and buy straight from the airline. It is worth it when it comes to emergencies.
A fraud and stolen company stole my money from my card after I used it to book a flight ticket on their site after four-month period from my purchase I asked thim why you used my MasterCard again without told me very bad customer services
FlightHub was the worst customer service experience I ever had. I had to cancel our summer trip to Europe due to Covid-19. After canceling our July trip we found out that they want us to use the tickets before August 31,2020. What a joke! Are you serious!
Even the airline told us that we could use the tickets until the Spring of next year and even later with a waiver code requested by the travel agent. When I mentioned that the support agent told me that they are not allowed to ask for the waiver code. What?! Are you serious! You are going to tell me that I lose 10k in travel credits if I don't fly this summer?! Unbelievable!
Additionally, we are a family of care providers who definitively should not fly to Europe this summer. It didn't matter when I told them!
Wow! Never again... and, I highly discourage you from using FlightHub.
I have booked flights through Flight Hub for many years now, and, have always been more than satisfied with the excellent service.
Got a great price on the ticket and the whole process went quickly and smoothly. One of the best sites to get a good price on flights.
Flighthub is horrible. Please stay away!. I finally got through to speak to a customer service personnel wanting to get an update of my flight cancellation. Flighthub told me first I need to cancel my flight (my flight is on May 16 flying to Paris. IT IS cancelled according to the Airlines and I still need to call you to officially cancel it? WTH!). Then flighthub told me they will issue a voucher/credit but it expired 12 months from the date i booked(in my case it expired Dec 2020 this year since I booked early. It is different from what's listed on their website! But they said the website is not usually updated. Flighthub suggested me to call the Airline to clarify and if it is different from what they have told me, the Airline need to email them and let them know under my booking number. I was stupid enough to call the Airline to clarify the expiry date of the voucher. The Airline said FLighthub is incorrect ( it should be 24 months from the date of departure for Air Transat) but my money is with Flighthub, so it is up to Flighthub what they want to do. Airline won't send an email to FLighthub because Travel Agent should be the one who clarify with the Airline and NEVER the customers! I called back to flighthub and told them what the Airline told me and at the same time Flighthub says to me to get a voucher/credit, the customers need to pay $25 per passenger! Even they get the vouchers for free from the Airlines! IT IS A COMPLETE RIP OFF since they know in my case my only option is to get a voucher/credit, so they make us pay $25 per person to issue us a voucher! What a disgusting gesture in this difficult time. Zero respect for the World situation! So everyone, please STAY AWAY from this agent.

Based on Flighthub's COVID site, both Airlines gave until mid 2021 to complete travel. However, Flighthub only gave us 1 year from booking (aka by Nov 2020) to complete our travel to the SAME destination. We only booked the destination (small city) for a wedding that was cancelled and will not be travelling otherwise. This also was not outlined by flight hub until after the cancellation was processed so we couldn't make an informed decision. When calling, the customer service representative did not want to check the company's site and were stating policies that she claimed were not written anywhere on the website and said I should know better. She also put be on indefinite hold when I was trying to understand why her policies were so different from the ones stated on the COVID flight hub site. Will NEVER be booking through Flighthub again because I don't want to support this kind of service. Very unprofessional service and seems like they are not transferring the customers' flight credits back to them an keeping them for themselves. If there is a logical reason for this, they did not explain it at all.
Do not be fooled by the cheaper "sticker" prices book through the airline or a reputable company.
Flight hubs prices may look cheaper but they will rip you off one way or another. Charging for luggage they promised on the phone to be included.
Changing flights and flight times as they will.
And charging a rebooking fee during covid pandemic. Flighthub will cancel the flight, change the time, split up family members, and after all that and/or during a global pandemic you'll like to think about flight "vouchers" you'll have to pay an additional fee of $75 per ticket! (NOT subtract $75 from the vouchers... WE NEED TO TAKE MORE OF YOUR MONEY)
Will never use flight hub again and will do everything I can to let everyone else know how terrible this company is. Although I have a feeling they won't be around much longer.
FlightHub is charging people for rescheduling their cancelled flights due to COVID. Shame on you!
This is not the time to make money out of people's misery
If it was possible to rate this zero stars I would. They take your money and don't give a crap about you after that. They cancelled my flight and left me stranded in another country. They hung up me every time I tried to call and get things sorted, they ignored all emails. They refused a refund and didn't even offer as little as a future flight voucher. I have never dealt with such a terrible booking company and I hope that nobody else has to be out through the same issues. Do yourself a favour and check out flight hub horror stories on Facebook before booking. I wish I had seen it first because it's VERY accurate.

I was given a 6 month credit after cancelling a trip during COVID-19. I cannot rebook and use by the time it ends as we are still not allowed to travel. Our countries borders are closed to the United States and we can't leave the country to go anywhere. I have called 3 times today and they will not let me talk to a manager, says they are not taking calls. If you ever book a trip do not go through Flighthub! I had no trouble with Expedia doing the right thing. And the airlines are giving longer credits as no one can use them now. It's booked with air canada! If flight hub contacts me and does the right thing by either refunding or extending my credit I will remove this review!
I use flighthub often! It's fast and easy. I recommend it to my friends.
Logged on it was easy breezy to book my trip to Florida and the price was better than other web sites.
Yes, I booked a trip and because of covid-19 I had to cancel my trip and I asked for a credit, but I got a credit just till Aug 31, so I don't know if I will be able to travel, because of the travel band... If you would extend it, I would be happier... So I not happy at all...

Answer: Terrible experience. I bought "extended cancellation insurance" which apparently expires the same day you buy it. I learned this when I tried to cancel my flight the next day. Why would anyone buy cancellation insurance that only lasts a few hours? They did refund my cancellation insurance but I was stuck with the flight. I would not have booked when I did if I understood the cancellation policy.
