I looked for a flight from Newburgh, NY (SWF) to Chicago (ORD). Fare was coming up $450/person for a one stop flight. While searching I was offered $128/person for a Non-Stop flight on United for the same travel itinerary from a nearby airport which was only 40 miles farther than SWF. For two people we paid $256 for a non-stop flight vs. $900+ for a one stop flight.

It was an easy process to book flights. I did find it a little hard to determine the fees that Flight Hub charges as it wasn't clearly stated.

I had problems

I selected seats on the initial purchase from Chicago to Dublin. When I got to Chicago, my seat per the agent was not selected and they wanted to put me in the middle row for a long international flight. They said it was the travel agent's fault not theirs so I had to pay an extra 55$ to get an aisle seat. The connections in Germany were a nightmare, and I had to pay extra for one suitcase. (thank goodness it met the weight requirements)There was inadequate time between connections, the connecting flight was in a different terminal even though it was the same airline. I think the program could note/ warn customers about inadequate connections, distance in airports, when it appears on its face that the selected connection is wrong. I had never traveled internationally. I accept as my fault because I used an online program. I think these considerations could have been subject to an alert to avoid extra costs and potentially missed planes. Some instructive language.

I booked my flight in 3 minutes.

This is a very straight forward way to book a flight. I would use flight hub again! I went on the sight, entered where I was coming from and where I was going and the dates. I tried a couple alternate dates and I got a very good deal. I'm 100 percent satisfied.

Seat selection

The only improvement I see is to be able to change your seat selection 24 hours prior to take off at no cost. I don't pre select my seat as I do not want to pay the extra.

Nice Trip

Generally speaking this hole trip was perfect, because I booked a good trip through Flighthub, with availability of required time and very good price.
There was only few points which realy worth to mention. Like.
For my flight had a 11hours lay over in Istanbul, and according to Turkish airline policy I was eligible for Hotel, but I was not informed by Flighthub agent
So I lst this opportunity becase of insuficient information.

Check your receipt and you will notice that you have BEEN CHARGED FOR INSURANCE YOU DID NOT SELECT! Then you will be put through the wringer to get this corrected.

Booked flight and never received e-mail. Called and they kept me on hold for 30 minutes and told me their system shows they sent the itinerary, but the clerk sent it again. STILL DONT HAVE IT 5 DAYS LATER! It is NOT in the junk mail. Could not understand the person clearly when she answered the phone. I tried to listen and have her repeat several times and I came away with half the info. Not really sure if the reference number is correct as their site won't recognize it. Very frustrated. Never Again.

Flighthub, worst site ever!

This site is horrible, they charge ridiculous fees for any changes and the best part they won't even assist with the changes, keep you on the phone for over 40 minutes and then will tell you to call back in 48 hours, when it's clear on the airlines website there are flights available to change. Their call centre must be in the Phillipines and their staff are incredibly rude and arrogant. Do not ever use this site.

Never AGAIN

Book flight to Hawaii, requested to pick seats end up I have pick separated seats for 2 of us end up have to paid $350 seat selection fee, airline ask us to contact FlightHub to cancel and rebook BUT I have to pay $75 US within 1 hour of my initial booking. I have booked tickets via many sites like Expedia, Travelocity, Priceline, Kayak... all are good. I will suggest all to do business w this company FlightHub. I rebooked my trip w Expedia. Com at the same rate same flight. Boycott FlightHub. Dr. Chow New York

I entered the return date on the site and submitted. Unable to access my email until a few weeks later and the return was on the wrong date. The company charged me 300+ per ticket.

I will never use this site again. Terrible experience.

Why can't I receive emails that were promised from your office. I have been told 9 times emails have been sent. I have not received a one. Could I please have someone contact me? Not good experience

I booked my in laws flight through flight hub usually I do through expedia which I always had good experience, I dont know what I was thinking,,, Anyways My dad in law got heart surgey and I provided hospital medical certificate as they ask told me Ihave to pay instead of $600, all I have to pay $300 when I check statement they $300 out of my visa and $300 from my paid amount so they deduct 600 and please read cancelation insurance policy its only for 3 days $19.99, Which I thought had it, but was for 3 days only what a ripp off

Customer Service from HELL

On their website Flight hub states
" Our Promises

We will always show all-in pricing, no hidden fees, no extra charges.
Never wait on hold ever again; we believe when you call us, we should answer right away.
Beginning to end customer support. Before, during, or after your trip, we are here to help anytime you need us."

None of those were true, because they broke all those promises when I was dealing with them.
