Great deals and easy booking

Booking a flight has always been great and easy. Prices are usually lower then most other sites. I would say don't try and change your flight as the FlightHub.ca fee was more then the flight itself plus the airlines cost to make the change. Twice I have needed to make a change and it cost more then the flights I had booked to make the change. I ended up just not even showing up for the flight on the last one. The cancellation option is only to make a change within 24 hrs which isn't completely detailed in the notes.

I booked with them. They told me I had until that night at 11:59 to cancel without any penalty. After that there would be a fee. Fine. I call an HOUR later to cancel BC I found they charged me an $80 booking fee, that they did NOT tell me about. And were gonna charge me the $75 fee!
What they did tell me was that my flight was $759. That was a lie. The flight was $679 plus an $80 booking fee! If I had known that I would not have booked. United, themselves, only charges $25 to book over the phone with them. This company is rip off, poor customer service. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THEM!

Flight hub scammers

Booked with flight hub for travel dates 8-01-17 to 9-14-17 from pdx to mnl. When I get into the airport Alaska airlines as one of the airlines I need to get on with as coonecting flight, Anthony from Alaska airlines can't find my flight out to their system. Called flight hub and Korean airlines and said that I was in their system but due to that Alaska airlines can't see me on theirs they can't let me fly and I had been staying right in front of him also with him speaking on the phone with me with Korean airlines and flight hub agents. I had to go home and booked another flight with different airline. Now I'm back from my vacation and almost a month since then, I called flight hub to follow up On their investigation, I spoke with one of the supervisors and told me that Alaska airlines said that due to checking in late they're charging me a total of $800+ when my ticket only cost $1300+. He said that Alaska airlines saying that I was checking in at 7:40am on a 8am flight. I told him that 7:40am was the last time I was trying to check in and started at 6am. He kept on telling me that it was the Alaska airline had been telling them. I told them to redo the investigation and told me to call again after 24-48hrs. The worst experience I ever had in my whole entire traveling life.

I have never in my life had such a bad experience trying to book a flight. Keep getting system errors when hitting book and confirm. Called customer service they were NO help. While on the phone with rep the price went up $50.00 per ticket. He said that is why I kept getting system error. Tried talking to supervisor and the price went up more then $100.00 per ticket. They kept blaming the air line for the price increase because in the time I was on the phone all the seats on all the planes where I was going sold out. Even though I got to select my seating on all the flights and there were more than 10 seats beyond the 3 I was trying to book. This website is a scam. Do not use! I wish I had read the reviews before I wasted my time. Both the customer service rep and the supervisor couldn't get there story straight when talking to me. The airlines should not let them sell tickets because no I don't even want/trust the air lines they work with. Wish I could give them a negative 5 stars.

Lack of integrity
September 20, 2017

I purchased a virgin America flight through them. I had to cancel for medical reasons. I called Virgin who was willing to refund me with no questions asked but they realized I bought through flight hub in Canadian dollars so they said I had to go through them. I called FH and explained, they required me to get a medical note, which I did. They said they would email me within 48 hrs to confirm the cancellation. Email never came and as the flight approached I received emails to check in. They did nothing and received no refund even though I knew the airline would approve it. I will never use this service again.

I made a reservation in May 2017 with Flight Hub via phone for a family/anniversary vacation in Europe for Oct 2017. I was asked if I would like to pay extra to reserve my seats at the same time. Which I did and we had great seats. The seat assignments displayed in the itinerary sent via email. It is now one month prior to our departure and I called airline to confirm the seats as I wasn't seeing the assignments online. I called Flight Hub multiple times to try and get this resolved. Flight Hub said for ME to call the airline back. The airline now reports that my reservation had a "note" from Flight Hub "requesting" these seats, but did not receive any payment so the seats were not actually reserved. I was sure there was some mistake. We now have seat assignment, but they are way in the back in the middle section with no leg room as I now had to select from what was left after 4 mos. Imagine Row 8 vs now Row 32. My peace of mind is gone. We had been saving for 3 years for this trip. I am crying.

I wish i would have read reviews before making the stuiped mistake of booking through this terrible company. At least i hope my review will stop others from repeating my mistake!
When booking i knew there is a chance i will need to change my flight dates, and was told everywhere it is a 250$ fine. Calling them, somehow it jumped to STARTING FEE of 350$ (without price differences). I'm like, wait- you LIED to me? And of course the representive cant speak any normal english so he just repeats and says that is the price. Trying to speak to a superviser is impossible, after over an hour I realize they are just trying to make you hang up. I am going to sit on that line for a day if needed until someone explaines to me how they CHEAT costumers this way. Terrible service, terrible policies, huge scam.

I had to change by few days the departure of my trip and they gave me hell before I could even talk to person. After finally reaching an agent they tried to charge me up to 700$ on fees from that tiny change.

You should stay away from this website by all means and look for competitors or even better straight from the airline. You are going to lose a lot of money.

Book through the airline! The call centre staff are difficult to understand and be understood by. In spite of spelling my name repeatedly they got it wrong. I did not notice that when the confirmation was sent through and when I did notice they said it was too late to make the change- it was one letter! I asked to speak to the manager and was told no. Could not be reassured that I would not lose the ticket, however I was told to cooperate with the staff at the airport and see what they could do. After I became extremely angry she gave me the wrong number to contact the airline itself. I found the correct number and all was resolved with the very helpful staff at the airline immediately.

Poor customer service

Booked a flight for myself, my husband, daughter and my infant son ( to sit on my lap)and realized that my baby's middle name is not on the eticket. Phoned flight hub, they want me to cancel our tickets and buy a new one, they won't even do a name change. They won't even cancel the baby's ticket alone. Phoned China Airlines. They said, a name change for the baby shouldn't be a problem or to cancel the baby's ticket and rebuy it shouldn't be a problem since the baby only sit on my lap. If
Flight hub doesn't know how to do this, that they can call China Airlines for help. Advised Fight hub on this, their rep is not helpful, rude and refused to forward the call to her supervisor or manager. It's my first time buying a ticket from flight hub and certainly will be my last if this won't be resolve. Worst experience, my ill dad needs to see my baby before the unthinkable happen that's why we are going home.

I booked a flight on line and for the first time purchased Insurance. Less than a half hour later I called to add another day and the first rep told me they would refund me but it would cost $50. I declined because I've done this before with Southwest with no problem. I called back and the next rep said it would be $75 then she dropped down to $40. I decided to cancel just because they were so unprofessional and I was willing to pay what ever fees just to book through Southwest. After the cancellation was processed I asked for confirmation and she hung up the phone on me... Do not use this service. They will ruin the idea of a vacation.

Initially, my review was 1 star as I was not getting results to receiving an email showing my cancellation date (required for reimbursement claim). I posted the experience of calling 3 times to cancel the flight and receive the documentation I required for the claim (first call initial cancellation, second and third were to follow up to receive the information via email - initial and subsequent calls did not result in receiving the email). After posting here I did receive a response via email and was able to get the information I required. My suggestion to anyone canceling is to get an email address that you can follow up with while on the phone (I could not find any other way of contacting Flighthub on their website other than by phone for this. Also, I was not disputing the cancellation charges associated with my cancelling as this was out of their control that I cancel and it's fairly clear there are no refunds etc. However, I had purchased the Manulife travel insurance provided at the time of booking this flight and the process around valid cancellations should not be this difficult).
Otherwise, the price for the flight was decent and the booking process online was very easy, however using 3rd party booking companies can come with less flexibility when making changes or canceling, vs direct with an airline who may be more likely to provide a credit etc.

Horrible service.

In a moment of excitement, I rushed to book a flight to visit my boyfriend in Florida. The flight was inexpensive and I booked it through Flighthub with no hesitation. Well, maybe I should've hesitated to check my information. Unfortunately, I misspelled my first name and switched the last two letters. A silly mistake that was obviously the result of hastiness, not one that should cost me $75, half of the expense of the trip itself. My first course of action was to call Flighthub, explain to them my error and ask for assistance in solving the problem. However, they could not do so without charging me a $75 fee. In frustration I hung up and called Spirit Airlines. Who knew waiting on hold with Spirit for 45 minutes for a 30 second phone call would prove to be a better outcome. Spirit understood my mistake and fixed it for me on the spot FOR FREE. My return flight is JetBlue Airlines. After calling them with the request of a name change and explaining my situation they were taken aback that Flighthub would have the audacity to charge me $75 for two letters. I spoke with a supervisor who was able to override my third party reservation and solve my problem. Thank you Flighthub, for nothing.

PROBLEM WITH FLIGHT CHANGE

For all bookings made under the Canadian office, you have until 11:59pm EST of the day of purchased to cancel with a full refund. If booked on our site but under our American office (USD) you would have 24 hours from the time of purchase to cancel your ticket with a full refund. This is why when you called the next day, full fees and fare difference applied to change the ticket.

I had bought their insurance just in case I had to cancel my flight, NO POINT IT WAS JUST A WASTE OF MY MONEY, when I tried to rebook my flight with the credit that I had from my last cancelled flight, they wouldn't give me the flight that I wanted and kept on telling me that I had to use the same destination for me to use my credit! LIKE WHAT WAS THE POINT OF GETTING THE INSURANCE IF I CAN'T EVEN GO WHERE I WANTED TO GO!. This website is so stupid, don't ever trust them. Their customer service don't do anything you ask for, except for put you on hold for an hour and tell you the same thing 10 times. I have been calling for the pass three days, one rep would tell me something and the next would tell me the exact opposite to the last one. I don't recommend this website to anyone. I will never be booking through this site again! Such a disappointment!

I submitted a review one month ago where I was saying that FlightHub changed my flight (2h earlier) which made the end of my holiday very uncomfortable.

Right now, I had another big issue that confirm the fact that FlightHub is one of the worst travel agency you want to book with. I bought a WestJet flight with them, and westjet is very cheap in bike luggage fees, that why I always travel with them. There was no other informations on FlightHub website. But when I arrived at the Airport, big surprise, the flight was in fact operated by Delta Airline, a company with huge bike luggage fees (150$).
Yesterday I spent hours on the phone with Delta Airline and Westjet, but the answer was that it was not their fault, as FligthHub missed to provide me all the important information regarding the flight.
Today, I spent one hour on the phone with FlightHub, talk to 2 agents, and finally, they just said they do not want to reimburse me but I can send an email to complain (in other word, and can send an email that will finish directly in the trash).
It was my first booking with them, and I had two very bad experiences (on the outward flight and the return flight), so NEVER book with them again!

Attached are two pictures: one with my electronic ticket delivered by FlightHub that just indicates that I have a Westjet ticket. The other one is my boarding pass that I get at the airport where the name of the operator mysteriously became Delta Airline.

FlightHub is the WORST third party provider I've ever experienced and I travel a ton. Behind the scenes everything is more difficult.

Even though you can supposedly select seats, its a request, and they cannot guarantee it. When you contact the airline direct, they say they need to charge a "take over fee" in order to pay FlightHub to release the ticket.

They also booked my "round trip airfare" as two separate tickets, same exact airline and not what I thought I was buying. This mattered because I unfortunately did have to change my ticket which I did direct with the airline (will NEVER work with FlightHub again) and when doing so they wanted to charge me TWO change fees let alone the dual release fees to FlightHub. All of this is because FlightHub turned my selected round trip search into two one-ways creating dual confirmations. Again not how I initiated my search and had no idea it even happened until I had to address changes.

Meanwhile the "deal" I got was less money then going direct to the airline and booking it on their site. Unbelievable!
