They are a scam. When you notice a slight pain, you are expected to foresee that it will get worse and could be cancer. You are not allowed to wait for the pain to disappear which is usual. You don't run to a doctors for any aches or pain right away. How ridiculous the flight cancellation policy ….
Instead of emulating the emotional culture of Canada and Modern business (satisfy customers so they want to share with others and become return customers), Flight Hub does all it can to take your money, keep your money, and make you feel bad in the process...
FlightHub Booking Number: 214-062-761... I initially agreed to have flight Insurance but then, at the end of the conversation, thought better and said I didn't want/need it. I got the bill for it, anyway: FH sleuths listened to the recording only long enough to verify that I accepted insurance, but did not listen further to hear me say, and on subsequent calls, that I didn't want it. They weren't interested in what I wanted.
They are not flexible, still behaving like the 1880s robber barons, with no view to the future. (Since dealing with FH management, in no less than 7 calls, I've been unable to sleep, and when I do, have nightmares. Basically, FH can also be compared to twenty-first-century highwaymen, taking advantage of defenseless travelers. Their only response to my wishes? POLICY! (In a service company, when "policy" does not serve the customer, policy is wrong--for both customer and company).
One of FH agents, passing me to what he said was his superior, gave me a phone number in the United Kingdom: *******551 (costing me more money!), which when I dialed, it turned out to be an elderly lady who was a former customer of FH, who warned me "to never use FH," also saying, several times, that "FH's only purpose was to make 'our lives miserable.'" (sic)
I've been flying since I was a child; I'm now 83; Shame on FH! It is apparent that FH is in the business of making people unhappy.
Don not use. Don not purchase here. Do NOT waste money on cancelation insurance. Their prices are cheap because they rebuy the worst tickets from airlines. I booked tickets and had to cancel, having bought the cancellation insurance, which covers a select few occurances (death, near death, dead etc). I cancelled with a legitimate reason and was still denied a refund. I will NEVER buy tickets here again. Save yourself, buy direct from an airline. Flighthub is the worst. I had to put a star, but it should be negative 5.
I booked a flight in March of 2020 and we all know what happened afterwards. I was unable to fly due to Covid 19 and asked for a refund. I was given the run-around but finally was told a refund was being processed. Fast forward a couple of months later, I contact them for a follow up and was told there is no record of a refund request. I settled for a future flight credit and did not receive any subsequent emails. I call today to rebook with the credit and was told that it has since expired, despite a future credit appearing as available on my account. Please do yourself a favour and avoid booking with this disastrous organization at all costs!
It's my worst experience to deal with this company their customer service only picks up the call when you want to purchase something there is no answering at all after the sale. I was trying almost 2 days on hold more than 4 hr on hold each call but... I don't know really and ended up calling the Air line they said that this company blocks them to make any changes in tickets because they want to make money out of it as well. But really men if you need the extra money that's fine at least pick up the call.
I do not recommend anyone to buy from them its better to contact directly to the Air lines.
I booked two round trips to Vietnam with a week's stop at Hing Kong and bought cancellation insurance with my tickets. Then found out that HK has seven days of covid quarantine, I called in to inquire to cancel, and the rep, Kim is her name, or that's what she calls herself, told me I can cancel it because I purchase insurance to protect cancellation, and it is covid related. She directed me to the website to cancel my booking, there's a clause says I need to pay a total of $400 to cancel, I asked her repeatedly that for sure the insurance will refund me? She repeatedly assured me that they definitely will refund me, she even put me on hold to confirm with her supervisor. So I clicked cancelled.
She then asked me to hold on and that she will transfer me to the refund department, I went back to the main line instead of being transferred to the correct department. Finally, I reached out to a rep, he said they can't refund my $400 since agreed to pay online. I was so furious that they lied and tricked me into cancelling. They even told me no Kim is working there and called me a liar. After much struggle and persistence, in the end, they refunded my insurance payment but could not refund my $400. Just three days ago, I found out from my credit card, they have charged me $800 in total for cancellation, In nowhere, shape and form that they told me there will be another $400 charge from the airline. I called them, and they said they mentioned it in the calls. I told them that I needed to talk to their supervisor, and the rep told me a supervisor will call me back within two days, till today I still haven't heard back from them!
What a waste of my time (total hours hold on the line at least 10 hours) what a ripoff and con artists! If the rep Kim didn't assure me that they will refund me, I would of not cancel the flight at all. I rather stay in the hotel quarantined.
So please, if you want keep your reputation and be responsible of what you said you would do, please refund my $800!
Utilizing the Kayak search, I inadvertently booked through these a**hole scam artists under their brand name JustFly, back in January, 2020, IAH - LUX. It was a family vacation we had been looking forward to for 8 years. Lo and behold, the Pandemic struck, shutting down all flights to and from Europe. The airlines, in this case AA, honored all cancellations through 12/31/21 for future bookings through 03/31/22. When there finally was some visibility with future travel, I contacted them in late Nov. 2021, for an end of year family getaway. But FlightHub saw a loophole in both honoring the airline policy and F*cking the customer: scale back the availability of flights offered and increase the rates on the customers holding unused ticket vouchers. So, if you wanted to go to LUX in the middle of winter (not my ideal time) ooh, sorry, no flights. And if you wanted to go to say some other place where there was availability, like Chad or Bangladesh, what normally would be a $600 ticket (in winter) for instance, wound up being a $1200 ticket on their system. Well, just ask for a refund then, right? They thought of that too: charge a handling fee of several hundred dollars per ticket, so you basically forfeit a good portion of its value. I raised my concern to the rep, who of course gave me a case number but never got back to me. I then voiced my same concern to AA, who then kicked it back to me, stating the TA is in charge of administering the cancellation policy (and holding the funds, I'd presume). So, here I am 6 mos later, $2000 poorer and still no travel because of these A**holes.
Travel seems to be easy and effortless to book these days: but if something disrupts the process, and you booked with these con artists, consider your money gone, with nobody there to back you up.
I have never dealt with a more incompetent company in my life. Three individual flight trips have been canceled. Still waiting for my refund 3 months later!
I paid for seat selection and then found out that seats were free. Contacted them for refund and they refused to do that. Their claim is that I paid for the service of using their website and not actually for the seat which was not clearly stated at time of booking.
This site is nothing but a scam. I purchased tickets in December for a trip in three days (August 2022). I found out today that somehow the ticket I purchased does not allow me to take either carry on or checked luggage. I have never hear do such a policy. I called Delta and they confirmed that the basic economy fare does not allow for even PAID baggage.
Flight Hub was not able to help. Delta was not able to help. So three days before my trip it cost me $2,200.00 to purchase brand new flight tickets from United. Delta told me that if I cancel with them, I will owe them money. This despite the fact that I have paid almost $300 for seat reservations and upgrades on Delta in the last week. So i will not get a refund on the $985.00 I spent on Flight Hub and real tickets cost more than double.

I purchased airline tickets from Flighthub May 12,2020 to fly from Richmond Va to Vancouver BC on June 23,2022. Flight Hub selected West Jet for the flight. When we arrived at the airport we were advised the flight was canceled. I contacted the FlightHub website as they have no available phone number. It has canned responses. None addresses airline cancelations. I then disputed the charge with my credit card company. West Jet refunded their part of the flight. Flighthub is refusing to refund $75.70 which they charged on my credit card.
I booked a flight to Europe; it stated on my flight reservation that the carry on bag and first checked luggage bag would be included. Due to a change in departure time I found out that the bags were NOT included. Had to pay extra fees. Trying to talk to an agent and I've been on hold now for 1 hour and 7 minutes. Just AWFUL customer service. Never again will I book via Flighthub.
I was charged in USD while I was seeing everything on Canadian Dollar. Even the INVOICE came in CAD $ but i got a "gift" of 300 dollars more on the credit card. The message "Please note: your credit card may be billed in multiple charges totaling the final price. All prices are in CAD." in the end of the invoice does not seems to be serious.
I booked my husband flight with flighthub the airline is swoop. I received a email from swoop advising me that flight is cancelled both side and click on the link to receive my credit. As of today I only receive one way money from flight hub. Flighthub advise they can't get the other side on my money until swoop send them the refund. I ticket was paid to flighthub not swoop. People please don't book any flights with flighthub they have the worst customer service agent. You can't speak to a supervisor. Flighthub service is the worst. Never again.
I booked 9 tickets for a flight in March 2022. I bought the cancellation protection that cost almost $300. I canceled 2 tickets and have yet to get any money back. I been trying to call and get foreign people I can barely understand and are clueless about what my situation is. The flight for cancelled in July by the airline - 8 days before my trip and I was suppose to get filled refunded and I didn't. I am missing about $644! This is a scam! Be don't waist your money.
Very poor service from the flighthub team. We originally booked our flights for July, but due to passport issues and Air Canada/United flight delays, we decided to rebook as they originally stated "No change fees". Flighthub was not able to accomodate our new dates even though the same class and flights were available on their website, we tried calling a dozen times with various dates. We finally rebooked on a date we did not want, just because we were scared to completely loose our tickets, the agents said that these dates might also not stay and this was our only option in the next 12 months.
In these days, the airlines are considerate and wave their change fees due to uncertainty, however flighthub is not considerate for travellers and are simply there to make money on change fees. Finally, I must have called a dozen times and every single time got a different answer from the agents, it was a really frustrating experience. Custmer service agents seem to simply say what they "think" should be the correct answer without looking at procedures.
I will never book again with flighthub, I will chose the airline directly as they provide true customer service.
1. I booked an international flight through Flightub on June 4,2002. I paid $75 for seats and never got them. I got an email that said "maybe" and "pending." Until I got my seats direct from the airline I had none. Can I get a seat refund?
2. My itinerary came via email with no contact info. There was a link to a self-help kiosk. I tried the 800s numbers found online and no one answered the phone.
3. I still don't know what became of the mileage for the trip.
I had no issues 5 years ago. I was able to speak with with 2 customer service staff last week but recently I was talking to someone who wants me to do their job. The company is only good if no issues or changes but if you have changes they make you pay more and not giving satisfactory assistance at all.
I called customer service online and on hold for more than hour and they said waiting time avg 20 mins. Dont trust them and you will end up waiting for more than one hour like me. I hanged up and not worth to buy tickets from them, go to westjet, air canada or else not Flighthub!

Answer: Terrible experience. I bought "extended cancellation insurance" which apparently expires the same day you buy it. I learned this when I tried to cancel my flight the next day. Why would anyone buy cancellation insurance that only lasts a few hours? They did refund my cancellation insurance but I was stuck with the flight. I would not have booked when I did if I understood the cancellation policy.
Answer: No comparison to this disaster. Very bad site. Will avoid.
