Cancelled in less than 24 hours for medical reasons. My booking agent talked me into cancellation insurance. The company still kept 29% of the money that I paid. The agents always tell me that they feel sorry for me. That being said they will not give me a refund of that amount. I booked my flight on October 31,2022 and cancelled it November 1,2022.
My cancer may be back and I will have to see my surgeon on 29 November 2022. For that reason in the case and my cancer is back I will not be able to take a flight at all. I decided to cancel the flight and book it again if my health is OK.I've been fighting with them for weeks now with no luck. The agent talked me into buying cancellation insurance for $200. Still, I cancelled is the next day and this corporation has kept 29% of my money. DO NOT USE FLIGHTHUB!
I booked a flight Nov. 2019 pre covid. Flight was to take place April 2020 during covid, they offered me an option proactively. Quote "To alleviate your concerns regarding your current booking with us, we are proactively reaching out to offer you modification options. Whether you are considering changing your travel dates for future travel credit or canceling them altogether, we have got you covered". I accepted a travel credit.
I have tried calling customer service approx. 15 times to rebook and they will not re-book or refund me the funds. They keep telling me that American Airlines has my money, when I contact AA they don't have my money, as I never took the flight and obviously refer me back to Flighthub. My husband and I are both seniors I can say this company is a total rip off, misleading, unprofessional, and disgraceful. I definitely will never recommend this agency to anyone.

Do not book through Flight Hub! I had to cancel my booking due to hurricane Fiona. When I went to rebook I was charged $368 for a rebook for the same flight a month later then another $100 fee. I also was told I had to wait for 72 hour to see if I could even have this booking. I waited for the call. No call! I called them and they didn't have any reason or answer why they didn't call and could not give me confirmation on my booking… I had to wait for another 24 hours and speak to a superior before I got anything done with my conversation and received an email. Then it got worse. On the way home from my vacation another hurricane Nicole! I called to see if I could get the early flight out of Florida they said there were empty seats on the plane and I can switch for $200. The airport was closing at 4pm and my flight was 4:05… I called AirCanada they did it free of charge! Flight Hub is a complete joke a money grab don't ever book with them!
I booked a flight with FlightHub to fly from Vancouver to Merida. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to change my flight for a week later. I went online and went to "Manage My Booking" where you can change flights for a fee. Three days later, I still have not hear back so I phoned in. There was a 2 hour wait to get an agent and when I got the agent, the cost to change my flight went from $150 fee to $470 - same exact flight. I understand that there is a shortage of workers in a lot of fields, but the wait time and the scam to increase the fee cannot be justified. The agent - John - was not friendly or very accommodating - even after I told him it was for a funeral. Do Not Use FlightHub for booking.
Airline delayed my flight by >20hrs and then cancelled it, so I called Flighthub expecting a quick and simple refund as I am entitled to under the law. Instead they have fought me every step of the way to try and avoid paying - here's a summary of their excuses so far...
- Claimed there was no delay despite it appearing on every website including that of the airline
- Eventually admitted the flight was 'revised' but not 'delayed', so wouldn't issue a refund
- Agreed to 'request' the refund, which later turned out never to have happened
- A full week after the flight was cancelled insisted they had no record of the cancellation or any delay on their system
- Eventually admitted they had a record that it had been delayed but this was not 'official' as it was not 'on their system'
- Told me the airline had recorded me as a no-show (on a cancelled flight)
- Told me the ticket had already been used (again, on a flight that did not exist)
- Told me they 'did not own' my ticket
- Told me they had 'no authority' to contact the airline to resolve the matter (despite being a travel agent who booked the ticket with said airline)
- Referred repeatedly to 'normal terms and conditions' which are completely contradictory to statutory rights and protections
My personal favourite lines from my chats with them;
"Even if the CEO of the airline called me and told me to issue the refund, I wouldn't do it"
"I don't deal with reality, only what the system tells me"
You only need to look at the fact they have a full section on their website detailing the ways in which they will fight a chargeback and force the consumer to pay the costs to know this is a crooked company out to scam customers and avoid paying out at any cost. The positive reviews here are clearly fraudulent - just look at the reviews for their other brands (airticketsdirect.com among others).
I was only able to uncover their web of lies because I spent FIVE HOURS on the phone as they put me on hold repeatedly to talk to 'helpdesk' which gives a different answer every time. Do not under any circumstances book through this company.
You can always find the best deal on their website and their customer Sevice is always available to help you if needed.
I ran into a situation when I missed my flight and had t find another one on the same day. Tried a few famous booking agents and all I could find were the highly priced tickets. Fortunately I found a very good deal on Flighthub website and got confirmation from the agents quickly, within no longer than 2 minutes.
Post the flights does not even exist, try to get client information then tell you the flights are not available. Called customer service, agent give the excuse of selling out. There were more than 20 options of flight were sold out in 10 minutes, himself does not even believe it. Agent was very unpolite to client. No customer service beside the booking agent to contact, try to avoid this company.
Don't buy insurance (not guaranteed) paid for seat (also not guaranteed) just order through direct airline or Travelocity!
HORRIBLE experience with Flighthub. Due to Covid-19, Flight Hub cancelled my flight in South Africa in March 2020. They did not refund the flight's amount but offered me a travel credit instead. However, the credit expired in January 2021 even though the Canadian government did not recommend any travel outside of the country. We called Flight Hub MANY times to obtain a refund or an extended travel credit, but they refused time and time again, saying we had to contact the airline directly even though we dealt with Flight Hub for our booking and not the airline.
Almost every time we called Flight hub, the operator wasn't able to help with our situation, so we asked to talk to their superior. Funny enough, every time we wanted to talk to their superior, we were told they were in a meeting until the end of the day. We asked to be called back when the superior was available, but days went by without ever being called back. This is the VICIOUS CIRCLE we have been in since they cancelled our flight back in 2020.
NEVER EVER PURCHASE THROUGH FLIGHT HUB. This is by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had. They have never taken the blame for anything, nor have they genuinely tried to help us. As a student, I had been saving for a long time for this trip, and I have been ROBBED by Flight Hub. They are TAKING ADVANTAGE of so many customers in the same situation. Flight Hub will only take your money and run…
Flighthub is shady... they make money by making "errors" and then charging you $75 to fix each ticket plus hours of your life trying to get someone to pickup the phone. Big time fraudulent business practices
This company, based in Canada, stole my money for flight tickets I purchased online. Flight was canceled due to Covid but I haven't received any compensation! Lost $3000. FlightHub gave the impression that costumers could cancel a flight in return for credit on any future flight when in fact the "travel credit" could be subject to important restrictions and additional costs and the value of the flight later decreased! This company was sued for misleading consumers and I can't believe it's still in business!

Flighthub allows itself to modify the itinerary that you have chosen and that you have already paid for, and when you are not satisfied with what was offered to you and want to cancel, it withholds 75 dollars per person for nothing. I do not recommend Flighthub.
Hey i want to share with this you guys never ever book you ticket with the flight hub, i booked my flight with them and want to cancel it with in 24 hours as they have the policy that if we cancel it with in 24 hours we will get full refund. But when we call to cancel it they said they gonna check if they can do that and after that the agent told us that their is charge of 75$ each to cancel the flight we agree to pay that charge and after agent deduct money from our account he said he can't cancel it because we booked our flight by 9:30 pm and now its another day so they can't cancel it even it was with on 24 hours we spend more than 2 hours on the phone that if they can do anything for us but the agent has onky one answer for us that he can't do that, then we asked for the suprvisor and the agent said his supervisor gonna call us with in 72 hours. Which clearly make no sense. Because if we have 24 hours to make cancellation how he can do it after 96 hours? Does this make any sense to them. This was the worst experience we have with the flighhub. We never ever gonna be booking our flight with the flighub again in life. Even i have attached the proof of their policy as well where it clearly says that it can be cancelled and fully refunded if its is cancelled in 24 hours. We want somone to check this review and contact us. we want full refund or we are sue this company for sure for what they did to us. i am giving this company 1 start because they don't have option for 0.

TERRIBLE. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. Their customer service is a joke. They will tell you that cannot do anything and to contact the airline. And the airline will just tell you that you booked with a third party so you have to go in circles. Their customer service will not answer you questions and will deflect any fault and responsibility. My flight was delayed and seats changed and they didnt do anything to help or compensate me. Rather tell me to contact the airline and the airline cant do anything since i booked through flight hub. PLEASE AVOID THIS TRAVEL AGENCY.

Answer: Terrible experience. I bought "extended cancellation insurance" which apparently expires the same day you buy it. I learned this when I tried to cancel my flight the next day. Why would anyone buy cancellation insurance that only lasts a few hours? They did refund my cancellation insurance but I was stuck with the flight. I would not have booked when I did if I understood the cancellation policy.
