I have been selling my work on Fine Art America for several years. I have never received any complaints. I have ordered product for myself, their work is exemplary and their shipping prices are very reasonable.
Ordered T-shirt Dec 6, it wasn't even SHIPPED OUT until Dec 28. Arrived Monday Jan 3. Merry Frickin Christmas! Was never sent any email confirming purchase or with tracking number. You can't blame this one on the post office! Customer service is developmentally disabled. When I asked why it took them over THREE WEEKS to even get the thing in the mail, I was told "there were a lot of delays unfortunately."
Lorenz, cs was worthless, I asked for a call back but instead I have to spend time with details that I only got the run around. My email:
"My order invoice is attached. As you see the total size was written at 16.75 x 19.75 which was the size I wanted to match the size of the picture I was placing it next too. Instead it came 16 x 19.Mat was suppose to be 2" but came 1 3/4"Image size was suppose to be 11 x 14, but came 1/4" smaller at 13 3/4 x 10 3/4There are small scratches in the acrylic cover. Also disturbing is the? Scam of your black friday where you advertised 25% off, which was a $113 price... but today you can get it at no discount for $102. Really! There are sites where I can get this print framed and pay as low as $70s. I trusted that you were a reliable company. Your note you will ship in 2-3 days, but it took me 17 days to get the shipment. Now you expect me to ship this back to you, when you didn't send the order I placed and as far as I'm concerned is considered damaged. This was suppose to be my Christmas present. I took great a great deal of time measuring to get a print to match the size and details of the other picture I was placing it next to. I'm very disappointed in your company. I don't have the time to ship back your mistake at my costs as you sent me the wrong order. Also I would report that your computers give different information each time you plug all the info into the order. Now its coming up that the total size will be 16.5 x 19.5? Also I could not open up the email invoice that you sent after my order. That doesn't happen with other orders. Says it wasn't attached properly."
I've placed multiple orders with Fine Art America. The artwork is always precisely how it appears on the screen. When I bought it in a bigger format, the colors stayed true to the original. The artwork was delivered on schedule.
Great selctions within all product categories. In my experience all product result as been well presented. The return policy is appalling. Not only do you pay for the shipping of the product upon purchase, you will need to pay again for returns no matter what the circumstance. In addition you only have 30 days FROM PURCHASE to return, or your stuck with the product you may not like. Terrible for holiday gifts. Sizing of the clothing products I have purchased (Tees and Hoodie) run at least one half size smaller.
Do yourself a favor, Go to the artist directly. This is another company that profits off artists and artists struggle to make it affordable to earn something versus the company making all the profits. AND they allow fake Profiles to scam art off the internet from other artists and sell the work! See below:
I joined and was pretty excited, until I saw other profiles using art that did not belong to them. Several user profiles as a matter of fact. It was clear the work was not there's to sell and they were selling images from other artists online. One was even in their email promos. Of course I turned it in, but never heard anything back. I immediately took my work off their site and closed the account.
Quality of service matters. Can't let everyone in just for your profits. Don't be another Amazon that let's knock off sellers in.
Had an issue with how my product came with my print adjusted and looked much different then image I was sent on my receipt. Customer service refused to refund or fix the issue. This was the one time I contacted customer service over the issue and they simply said I won't be refunded. Typically I had good experiences. My receipts image and what I received were not the same and they weren't fazed by my complaint. Clearly you can see by my images posted what I received was not the placement I ordered.
I am an artist on the site and decided to order some greeting cards of my art, I was surprised to see the results I ordered 3 different images for Christmas and I was disappointed to see the results all 3 were overly saturated and the gold was orangish red and the pinks were red the white was gray. The whole picture was dark and no contrast were seen. They were religious pictures I requested a refund and they told me to destroy them and send an image of the images destroyed but I will take the loss since they were paintings of Religious figures Jesus ect….
I went looking for tote for my son who love Mosasaurus'. I found a tote that I could modify to my liking on the site. I was able to resize the image and they had many different colors and sizes to choose from. It was all very easy and interactive. The shipping was fast and my son will love it! Thank you!
FineArts America possède un vaste catalogue en ligne d'estampes pour la plupart uniques, bien exécutées et abordables, encadrées et non encadrées, dans une variété de genres, proposées dans un éventail de tailles, de formats, de supports, etc.
I ordered over a month ago and did not receive and of course can't get a response back now either! Never see that money back. Thanks scumbags.
I ordered 3 different prints in the form of 5x7 greeting cards. While the art itself was superb, and the card paper was of high quality, the prints all came out extremely dark, and way too red. I can't really see or use them. I'll never order from here again. Exceedingly poor quality. These should not have left the factory. UPDATE: They did replace 2 of the prints with a brighter version that was almost too yellow but more useable, but the 3rd one, they tried 2 more times and couldn't get it right. Copies 1 & 3 were too dark, copy 2 was better but got wrecked in shipment as did copy 3.
Terrible customer customer service, they encourage Live Chat so you never speak to an individual. Waited weeks for expensive picture only to be told of delays in manufacturing, etc. I canceled the order. The next day picture arrived, no notice of shipment of anything. Buy elsewhere!
Fine Art America is a nice site for art. I have purchased two piano themed coffee mugs for my piano teacher, and they arrived nicely packed with the artwork shown as displayed on the website. FAA is a good and easy company to deal with and deliver as promised. Highly Recommended!
I was looking to buy 4 gallery-wrapped pieces from FineArtAmerica. I found two, by different artists, but could find anything else that might be part of a collection. The site didn't show any other prints that might be part of a collection(s), but I stopped after page 200. Additionally, the search showed me nothing. I used "Contact Us" twice and got no reply. I even tried Facebook--got a timely reply and was told to use "Contact Us."
What a joke. They lost the sale, and a customer. I am a designer. Epic fail.
Ordered metal wall art. Order process was easy and simple. Had some technical problem while checkout but support team was there to help.
I have ordered 2 separate pieces from 2 separate artists. The clarity is superb! Truly rich, deep color! The frames are well worth the additional fee. They're highly complimentary to the art and make hanging extremely secure and convenient. I did have an issue with one of the pieces. I sent an email with a picture which showed my concern. Without any delay, customer service immediately responded and a replacement piece was sent to me at no additional cost. Lorenz was incredible! - I even found a new artist, that if not for FineArt, I otherwise would not have found who I absolutely love (Keith Shepherd). I challenge anyone to find an online site that offers such a selection, quality, and customer service. I am sincerely surprised why there are negative reviews based on both of my experiences. I have received numerous compliments to both of my pieces and I completely recommend FineArt and will definitely be a returning customer.
There was a wide variety of art to choose from. The shipping was fast and protective. I am a satisfied customer.
The holders on the back of the canvas failed (twice). The canvas fell and broke a vase. We screwed in the side that broke and rehung the canvas. The other side of the hanger broke and canvas fell again.
Answer: FAA is a Terrible Company and I think most if not ALL 5 star reviews are Fake! I was a member there for 4 years and it was all downhill. Stayed as long as I did because I was still making sales. But they WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY to block me from any Features or posting in communities. Order from them and you'll be very disappointed. Shipping costs are very high and if you want to return something they'll make you pay shipping AGAIN! The quality of the work they ship is also disgraceful. They even use a fake Corporate Address. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY!
Answer: I have been a very loyal and outspoken fan of Fine Art America until I had to deal with their customer service department regarding two defective pillows I received. I have tried calling. I have tried leaving messages. I have tried emailing. I have not gotten an accurate and clear response to my inquiry on these pillows. So, yes, now I am posting a negative review which is quite unfortunate. I will also go to the site you mentioned and post my review there also. Fine Art America needs to up their customer service quality, immensely.
Answer: You answered your own question - you haven't done ANYTHING. How do you expect to be found? You have to advertise. There is plenty of information in the forums on the site on how to do that. If you upload and sit, that's all your doing. You have to tell people you exist. The site only prints the work. This is also the wrong place to ask this, ask in the site and you'll get a flood of answers. I also can't say much here because i need to see the quality of your work, is it well presented? Do you have keywords, descriptions, are you adding work all the time? Do you have social connections and so on. Its a lot of work. ---Mike Savad http://www.MikeSavad.com
Answer: Technically there is a phone number for customers when you log out. While not ideal, it might work if you call that number. Otherwise use tech support and be sure to use a gmail address.
