I have been trying to get this company to answer my concern for almost a full year. The images I have uploaded for Private use (BUYERS ACCOUNT) appear in images when my name is entered into a search engine. They have a service answering calls for them - no one from the company is actually reachable. Finally I asked them to delete my entire account and related info, please... No response. It's ridiculous.
I spent over $100.00 on a duvet cover for my son. He excitedly opened it to read instructions on how to wash it before we put it on his bed. The instructions literally state "do not" then cuts off. I called the company and they do not have any instructions. The rep told me she thinks I can dry it on air dry or regular dry, but she's not sure. I'd rather return it now before I ruin it with incorrect washing, but I was told I needed to pay for the shipping back. Ridiculous. All I want to know is how to care of my purchase and I would have been happy, but to tell me "I think" this is what you do, but refuse to pay for return shipping since you can't give me a definitive answer is awful. Won't be shopping with them again.
Had an account with them (now closed) and they just took money without asking. I've checked my original email from there is nothing about auto renewal in there. Would not deal with this shoddy and unethical company again!
Selected a print on canvas of a sailing ship;"Ship" by Samuel Waters, which arrived in a week - Phenomenal! A great painting by a skilled maritime artist.
BUT colour balance was really off - almost monochrome - inadequate cyan and magenta and low contrast.
Response from "Judy" send email attachment of print and I asked to have a copy as close to the original as possible. Agreed to send replacement.
Waited, advised one had been sent. Waited a week or two. Asked for a Tracking number. Still waiting.
I've done my money. Sounded great early on but is REALLY, REALLY BAD - should be referred to the Feds. For highway robbery.

The shirt I ordered was defective. Fine Art America did not pay for the shipping back to them and they didn't refund the shipping part of my payment. I'm out over $8 because they had a faulty product. Attempts to contact them met with silence on their part. I will never deal with them again.
I thought the site was really cool with a bunch of items that have awesome artwork, so I made my first purchase of a greeting card with a Braveheart Minimal Movie Poster on it. I received the card today, but the card was damaged. It appears that the person who packed it bent the card and the front of the card show a white crease. I called customer service and spoke to Brian. He seemed nice. However, I was directed to the return page which states that I am responsible for the postage to return the item. That's not cool. I have only had to return one item in my life from a online retailer and they told me to keep the item (which I threw away) and send me another one free of charge. That is good customer service. To have to pay to return something is just not good business and leave me feeling bitter. I will not order from this site again. Such a bummer.
Don't expect any support if you try to contact them. Any problems you have with the site will always be blamed on you or your computer. One of the important items you can do is edit an image you put on yet once edited and saved the old image will appear and the new image will never appear. You have to delete the original file including descriptions, etc. and reload the whole file over. It's a pain so I'm going elsewhere because of the lack of support.
I am a member of FAA, and I bought 6 tote bags to be able to sell on my art market. I have not heard anything not one email, nothing. I keep sending them a email, no answer. I feel as if they have stolen my my and ripped me off.
I purchased an item and needed it to be shipped overnight. Called several times to confirm that the item would be received the next day, each time receiving a different answer by customer service.
Still do not have item. Will see when it actually arrives despite having paid for expedited shipping. Customer service is awful, they are not knowledgeable, they don't care if you are displeased, and they don't respond with any urgency. They do not answer the phone and the memory is full so you can't even leave a message. I'm now filing a complaint with my credit card company to reverse payment.
Never again.
I'm a FAA member but i haven't been able to access my account to make changes at all, i have tried to contact FAA in all ways possible but they do not respond. My site is up but i have no control over it and no help. Something is seriously wrong with this site. Please respond if you have the same issue...
Whatever you do don't use this business. The worst experience of my life. If there was a -5 option for rating it would be -5. Paid for a phone case for $50 said it would deliver in 3 days took 10 days and then when it was delivered it was the wrong item. I then send an email back requesting the item I paid for and they ask for a photo. I send a photo. And I am yet to receive any details about my original item being sent out. Absolute scam of a business should be shut down. This site breaches so many aspects of Consumer Law and breaks so many of my consumer rights. I don't know how governments allow this pathetic business keep running. I hope these people fail miserably and lose every single cent of their money. It's people like this that deserve nothing but a cardboard box.
Ordered a nice phone case for summer, quality is great and came quick! Very happy! Would order again.
I removed my old work in-order to upload new work and they still show my old work on their render pages which I cannot remove myself. Google also cashes my old work before the newly updated work I've added. I've contacted FAA 3 times to assist with this problem but they've failed 3 times to reply back. Bad business ethics as far as I'm concerned.
I agree. Their customer/technical service is truly pitiful... almost nonexistent. I have contacted them three times by e-mail in an effort to resolve a problem, and they have yet to even acknowledge my request for assistance. Difficult to trust a company with such lack of concern for its new buyers.
I submitted my work for two months had sixteen thousand visitors but they told me I had no sales I found out they had cut off my commissions and were selling my work for their profits only
I ordered a framed picture from FineArtAmerica - Kiss The Cook by Shari Warren. I plan to buy more of her work.
Wow... excellent service, picture and transaction. The packaging was so locked down tight. I had was so impressed with the way they bolted it down in the box so it wouldn't get damaged. In addition, the turn around on delivery was quick. Thank you so much!
I'm selling on this site for 4 years and occasionally buying prints from them. I am quite satisfied both as a seller and buyer. Payments are prompt and canvas prints are top quality! Customer service works a bit slowly yet they solved every issue I had!
I just wanted a reset link for my password, and I have been trying for three weeks now. Fine Art America will not return my emails. This leads me to believe these people also lack customer assistance, and I don't want to treat my customers like that. I will be discontinuing my business with them.
In my opinion, they have a very low credibility, and I would not recommend them at all.
Answer: FAA is a Terrible Company and I think most if not ALL 5 star reviews are Fake! I was a member there for 4 years and it was all downhill. Stayed as long as I did because I was still making sales. But they WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY to block me from any Features or posting in communities. Order from them and you'll be very disappointed. Shipping costs are very high and if you want to return something they'll make you pay shipping AGAIN! The quality of the work they ship is also disgraceful. They even use a fake Corporate Address. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY!
Answer: I have been a very loyal and outspoken fan of Fine Art America until I had to deal with their customer service department regarding two defective pillows I received. I have tried calling. I have tried leaving messages. I have tried emailing. I have not gotten an accurate and clear response to my inquiry on these pillows. So, yes, now I am posting a negative review which is quite unfortunate. I will also go to the site you mentioned and post my review there also. Fine Art America needs to up their customer service quality, immensely.
Answer: You answered your own question - you haven't done ANYTHING. How do you expect to be found? You have to advertise. There is plenty of information in the forums on the site on how to do that. If you upload and sit, that's all your doing. You have to tell people you exist. The site only prints the work. This is also the wrong place to ask this, ask in the site and you'll get a flood of answers. I also can't say much here because i need to see the quality of your work, is it well presented? Do you have keywords, descriptions, are you adding work all the time? Do you have social connections and so on. Its a lot of work. ---Mike Savad http://www.MikeSavad.com
Answer: Technically there is a phone number for customers when you log out. While not ideal, it might work if you call that number. Otherwise use tech support and be sure to use a gmail address.
