Too close to quitting time

Eventually had to go the FedEx office and pick my package up. Turns out our neighborhood is near the end of their daily route, and by the time they got close it was too close to quitting time so they headed back to the barn and kept scheduling the delivery for the next day. Meanwhile I have to stay home so I can sign. Unbelievable.

Fedex can't seem to find my house

Yesterday (Monday) - I was told that my package was out for delivery so I waited all day because I have to sign for it. It never arrived although we saw the Fedex van driving around our neighborhood.
Today (Tuesday) - Fedex says this is the new delivery date and that my package is again out for delivery. Again I had to hang around all day. Again no delivery. Again we saw the van in our neighborhood. It never came down our street. Does the driver not know how to read a map?

I called to complain. The guy said tomorrow for sure. We'll see. Not optimistic. Feeling trapped at home due to Fedex incompetence.

Absolutely the worst service from customer service to delivery services. I paid a ridiculous amount for a promised over night delivery to be told it would not be and no money would be refunded. First they blamed it on Covid than blamed it on the the Airlines, Than said not our problem it is on our written disclosers of course that NOT ONE person tells you about. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE!

Back in the 80s, FedEx was the bomb. It was the new fast shipping and the customer service was excellent. No more, this business has gone so far downhill that I use either the U.S. Postal Service or UPS if I have to send something. Since 2014, I have had issues with FedEx, starting with when I sent something to my son. I phoned FedEx TWICE, each time speaking with them so long that in the end, it was 1.5 hours total on the phone with them and the package was still never delivered. I stopped shipping with them but do receive deliveries from them and oftentimes the package is held up for DAYS at one of their locations. My daughter's computer got stolen by FedEx. Speaking with the agents, you could tell by their feedback that this occurred. I think it got stolen off a truck, from what they were saying, because it was in the warehouse, then on the truck, and never made it to our house (nice neighborhood, things don't get stolen). If you have a choice, use USPS or UPS.

Zero stars

Zero stars. FedEx sucks. No updates regarding delivery. Website doesn't work properly. I absolutely would never recommend, my package is being delivered by my supplier so it was not my choice. Companies should go with UPS!

If you ship anything PRIORITY OVERNIGHT still it will not be delivered with lame excuses
DelayCustomer not available or business closed.
Just so that they don't have to give the money back.

I called the number below and was very upset. He asked me to repeat myself. I asked him if he could hear me. He then hung up on me. He wasn't in the United States sounded like another country. I called back and got a nice lady with the same accent. She was nice. She calmed me down and asked for my tracking number. Turns out the shipper sent me the wrong tracking number. When FedEx sent me a email saying my package was delivered. I thought FedEx made a mistake and dropped off my package at the wrong address. The point is "I didn't need to be hung up on". Just saying "let's look up your tracking number".

Priority overnight
Takes 5 days with no one to help. Talked to 10 different representatives all from other countries some with chickens in the background. Been hung up on 5 times. Never again. I could have driven to Atlanta 10 times in the time it took to get this package

Absolutely awful and dishonest

The only reason I chose 1 star, is because I couldn't put 0 stars. It doesn't get anymore black and white than this.
I preordered the new Metroid two days ago on October 7th. At first it told me it would be here yesterday, October 8th. I figured this was unrealistic, and didn't count on it actually arriving yesterday though. I think it would probably be unreasonable to expect that anyways.
Yesterday rolls around, October 8th. The shipping information changes, saying it should arrive TODAY October 9th. I figured this was a little more reasonable at least.
Today around 6:57 the tracking information changes to show that it is on a truck ready for delivery. 11:00 rolls around, so I check down at the mailbox for any sign of anything. Nothing. It is also worth noting that I have my phone number linked to this order, AND I have a security camera capturing footage of my driveway and front door. At NO point was there anything on the camera other than me walking out to check the mailbox and to walk my dog.
By 12:30 the tracking information has changed to show that "a delivery attempt was made" and "no one was home."
This is a blatant lie, and downright lazy. I've clearly been here all day and have visual proof they never once came by. Granted, I do live a bit out of the way so normally I could understand if they couldn't find the address. However my phone number was absolutely available to them (I can tell because whenever I call the horribly unhelpful customer support line they automatically brought up my order number on the first call) and they could have very easily called to figure out exactly where I was.
Then there's the case of their customer service. Getting the runaround from an actual person is one thing and already infuriating. Getting it from an automated voice? Unacceptable. It's near impossible to even speak with an actual employee.
This companies laziness and dishonesty are absolutely undeniable. I wouldn't be surprised if any of the reviews claiming anything over a 2 to 3 stars are plants from FedEx to try and save face.
Bottom line, the only time you should be using FedEx is if you absolutely have 0 other options, or you simply don't want the package to arrive on time or at all. Horrible company.

Slow and poor

They do not deliver on time like ever. They also give you no updates and try to fool you. They only are the worst shippin company i have ever shipped or received packages with. I ordered 2 weeks ago with fast delivery and still have not gotten it. Ups is so much better they deliver on the date they say they will

Abysmal service

Had a time sensitive return package. These idiots decided it was fine to leave it sitting for three weeks BEFORE finally coming back around, four days after I contacted fedex again to complain. They're horrible. The first driver that was supposed to show up, never did. But miraculously, I received a text saying that he had come by and no package was left outside. I was home all day. I saw him drive up, get out of his truck, see the package, walk up to it, tried to move it, thought it was too heavy, and he walked away. Called FedEx immediately, and was assured he hadn't been there, and would absolutely come by to get it. I didn't feel like fighting with someone that was clearly lying, and very clearly didn't care. I could barely understand what he was saying anyway because of his incredibly thick Indian accent anyway, and condescending talk from him sent me in a seething anger. Went out of town the next morning, and was gone for work about two weeks. When I get home, what do I see? The same package still sitting in front of my door. Called FedEx again, and was given the same condescending Indian accent that I could only understand about a quarter of. Called my local FedEx delivery center, explained what happened, and blasted the poor guy who had the displeasure of dealing with me. He escalated it to the manager of the center here, and shockingly, the package was picked up about a day and a half later. I'll never FedEx again, not if I can help it anyway. Anyone who doesn't believe me, is more than welcome to tell me where to send about 50 emails from the FedEx customer service representatives and the local center here verifying exactly what I've said is true.

They have left my packages at the main entrance of the apartment building to get stolen. Left packages outside the leasing office when the leasing office is closed.my packages show up damaged and opened. I've had stuff missing out of packages. They deliver it to the wrong door and give you the other persons package. I have a sign on my door that says to knock because we have package theft in the building since the pandemic, so they don't knock. I have a note in my delivery thing saying to knock, and they still don't.

I had three packages to be delivered in one day awhile ago. All on the truck ready for delivery. But all three were heavy. The guy delivered one, and said I wasn't home on the other two so he couldn't deliver it. Came back the next day with the two packages on the truck. Delivered one and said the other couldn't be delivered because I wasn't home. At this point, the heaviest package is still waiting to be delivered. The max weight per package was 50lbs or less. I got an email saying if I wasn't home on the third attempt to make this delivery, I would have to pick it up myself from FedEx. I called and was extremely unhappy. They did finally deliver my last package on the third day.

They've done this type of stuff to me before. Complaining does no good. I tried complaining to every branch of command I could think of. They act like they care on the phone to shut you up. But do nothing to fix the problem.

So when I can't find my package. I go look for it. I usually find a stack of packages for different apartments in my building. Then I get to do fedex drivers job and deliver the packages to the proper apartment door. You never know if someone has life saving medicine in a package they need ASAP. We have a lot of older people living here. Then there's the mean people who find it and steal it because FedEx can't bring a box to a door. He just leaves at the main entrance door.

Disappointed service

Dear FedEx you told me my package was going to arrive on Wednesday. After waiting for 48 hours post Wednesday without seeing any tracking update. Now finally I have an update from you and you are telling me the package is going to arrive on Sunday?! The package is only 50 miles away from me! My expectation of a tracking service is to be on time. You can't even do that? I'm really disappointed! Your tracking service is really lame and $#*!ty.

Sent a package 2 day and it just disappeared. Occasionally it would show a status in different states as "in transit. Check back tomorrow". Could never reach anyone live. FedEx made it pretty clear they did care. Finally shows up out of the blue 10 days late..

My son‘s birthday I ordered him the only thing he wanted and the only thing he asked for. The supplier sent it via FedEx. The date was scheduled it was a sign for packaged special delivery fees the whole 9 yards. The driver never ever showed up to my house that day I even took a day off from work to make sure that it was signed for. It said it would be back to my home the next day but the driver never even came the first day. The same situation happened on day two and day three and I had to go pick up my Son‘s birthday gift from the actual FedEx facility because the driver refused to come to my home I own 12 acres of land and there was no reason for this person to not come in and make that delivery I waited out in my driveway an entire day all three days. Again once again purchase something else different supplier and again the same situation again! Got to drive to the facility tomorrow to go pick up my package that was paid for to be delivered to my home. I'm furious and when it's your kids birthday or graduation present and it's due on a specific day and the driver is just lazy and will not get out of the truck because it's at the end of his run and he's a contractor it's pathetic and my kid almost didn't get either one of the gifts because of this contracting driver the FedEx is hired! I'm sick and tired of the crappy service no stars at all. Sick of it and you get the runaround when you call the corporate number pathetic pathetic customer support pathetic I will never purchase anything again from another vendor that uses FedEx ever I refuse to ever use their service they suck!

Fedex can s*ck my $#*!

You send COLLECTION AGENCY to people who don't even know what they had to pay for. I have to pay 300 euro FOR A THING I DONT EVEN KNOW! You paid the 'import tax' WITHOUT EVEN ASKING ME (?) and delivered a package without saying a WORD ABOUT THE COSTS! Few months later you sended a collection agency to get the money. 1) I didnt even knew about it. 2) You paid the import tax without my permission, EVERY OTHER POST OFFICE has the chance to send it back. AND HOW THE $#*! YOU GONNA ASK 300 EURO FOR IT? This was not even the value of the packqge? God damn shame on you fedex. PEOPLE DONT USE FEDEX IT IS A SCAM

Never on time

Why the hell anyone even uses FedEX another example today was suppose to get the package on Tuesday then Wednesday now Friday is the day they're claiming. They never deliver on time this is most likely why Amazon dumped them. Next time if someone is shipping to me I'm going to ask if they tell me FedEx I'll tell them never mine I'll look for someone else.

FedEx Sucks

The worst customer service ever, lied to multiple times on delivery of a single package. The most pathetic customer service ever. Seattle to Anchorage, paid for overnight delivery, box has been in Anchorage hub all day, and no delivery. Absolutely Unaccceptable!
