I have recently tried using FedEx professionally twice in a row. The first time the ‘next day delivery' package was lost for 2 weeks, then returned undelivered. The second time a ‘before delivery at 11:30 next am was ‘delayed'. Trying to get an answer from them is almost impossible. Getting a refund made extremely difficult. Ordered date sensitive item personally last week. Should have been here Tuesday. Arrived in WV 6 am Tuesday morning, I'm in Florida. Sat in WV for 3 days. Message today (Friday) saying it will arrive by 3:30 today. It's 3:40 now and item is still sat in Orlando, not moving, no update. Tried calling for help, complete waste of time. I shall ban their use within our group first thing Monday and try to avoid placing orders with any company that uses them. Very unreliable and unprofessional.
I have literally watched my package go back and forth from city to city. Starts out saying it's in a town very close to me and then ships back to a town 2 hours from me. Twice this has happened. Not sure why it keeps going back and forth! First off it sat in one of their warehouses for 8 days without moving at all! Called customer service... what a joke! All she could say is... Well you know this is the busiest time of year. Not my problem! Tracking keeps going from giving me a date it will be delivered to saying It's on it's way! Have been waiting on this packager since the 6th and hear we are on the 17th. Not using them again if it can be helped.
I have been waiting for 7 days for my package to be delivered. Each day I get the notice that it is on the truck for delivery and each day it doesn't show up. Spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to find out why and after finally getting the robot to transfer me to a representative she tells me it it is on the truck and will be there by end of day. Well what do you know it is still not here. This is the 4th time they have done this to us and each time we end up having to go to the facility that is 40 minutes away to pick up the package our selves.
Why did i pay for 2 day express delivery? Package has been on a truck now for 4 days, Fedex has been to my neighbors on 2 of those days. Its didheartening to pay for top service and then have to worry whether my package will show up or not, unacceptable. Have no pkg yet to be able to put up a photo.
Ordered a small chest freezer and Fedex delivered it. However, despite the box clearly being marked "this side up" with a giant arrow, they managed to deliver it upside down. It was obviously upside down the entire time they had possession of it because the bottom had no scuff marks or dirt. Even better, the driver delivered it AFTER 9:30 pm (because I checked before I went to bed) never knocked and we had a torrential rain storm overnight. Regardless I woke up to a disintegrated cardboard box and a wet upside down freezer.

Fed ex does not care about customer service. Your package will ride around on the truck all day and when it gets dark, the driver has to run and hide. This means that your tracking gets delayed. I ordered tires and they were on the truck for delivery Tuesday. Got dark and it was rescheduled. Back on the truck Wednesday. Finally show up at 4:12, but only has 3 tires. 4th back on the truck Thursday. Gets dark, delayed again. By the way, the tires were 30 miles from my house both times. I could have crawled to fed ex and pushed the tires back to my house in less than half the time it took them to deliver. I see amazon and UPS out late at night, but fed ex evidentially has a bed time. Don't know how they stay in business with a 1.5 star rating.
I received a package on Saturday December 11th, 2021. It said perishable on it. I saw as soon as Fed Ex truck pulled away. It was addressed to someone with a different house number than mine and a different street. I called Fed Ex right away and told them they needed to contact the driver to pick this up and deliver to correct address. He said would take 1 or 2 days. To leave the package on my porch. The next day I received a delivery from Fed Ex and the driver looked at the other package and said this is from Saturday as if he wondered why it was still on the porch. Apparently he didn't notice it had an address different from my address. Then he left. It is now Thursday December 16th and the package is still sitting on my porch. I have tried calling multiple times but usually I can't get through the automated system to actually speak to anyone, I tried online chat but it keeps saying there is a case open and to be patient. I finally got to to speak to someone today and the man was very nice but very difficult to understand because of his foreign accent. He told me the same things I was told on Saturday. I asked to speak to a Supervisor but he said that wasn't possible. Ridiculous that I am trying to get the package picked up and delivered to the person who ordered it and Fed Ex will not pick it up. My house number is one digit different than the house it was addressed to and the street name is not even similar. The driver must not have been paying any attention to where he leaves the packages at. After five days most likely the person who was waiting for this package has probably complained and already received a replacement package. The automated system tells me the package has already been delivered when I put in the tracking number. So I have not got any help for this problem.
I literally have never had them follow through correctly on delivering a package. Out of the handfull of times I have used them they have always been a joke. The package is either lost or extremely late. Every single time.
FedEx sucks I'm never ordering anything through them there never on time they've been telling I've going to receive my package for over a week now

I am camping at my door waiting for a delivery, and I get a text saying "We tried and nobody was there to sign". And guess what? I cannot pick it up at a location, that's just not an option apparently, despite me having picked up other packages from Fedex at location less than 5 miles away from me.
This is the absolute WORST service I have encountered during my 28 years of existence on this planet Earth. You can't even call a person to explain the situation to them, instead you are left on some Bot who can't understand that I AM HERE, I AM READY TO GET THE PACKAGE FOR THREE DAYS NOW, WHAT ELSE DO YOU WANT FROM ME?!

FedEx has the worst service. I will get a email they try to deliver and no one was home. I would be there all day waiting. Ihave account set with delivery instructions. Nobody seems to read them.
My package has been sitting in a warehouse 16 min from my house for 7 days now. I call with no resolution. Its pathetic because it isn't even that busy. When I hear a package is being shipped using FedEx, i feel complete dread. Please start using ups, because they don't have any of these problems & you get the package when your supposed to. I should give o star if I could. They worst service ever.
Not one shipment this year has been on time and most shipment dates are inaccurately reported. We now avoid using FedEx... USPS is actually faster and more reliable.
I have an item coming to me which was supposed to be delivered to me today. This item originated about an hour away. It arrived at the location it will be delivered from at 6:51 AM and I was told it would be delivered today. Now the status has changed to tomorrow. It is 2 miles from where it is being delivered! I do not get it, Fed Ex is NEVER on time!
I ve paid more than £30 for the next day delivery. And although there are 9 days passed, FEDEX still couldn't manage to deliver the parcel. They make me lost thousand of pounds for this unbelievable delay. Disaster company indeed..
I shudder, when I hear, delivery is per FedEx... Last incident: on 12/4 received a "Delivery was made" text messg... was home all day waiting for it, but neither one of my TWO Ring cameras recorded anything. When I filed a claim, FedEx didn't even have the delivery instructions correct, so I knew it went to the wrong address... I called the seller, they agreed graciously to replace the order. Stayed home again for delivery, heard Ring camera and was behind front door, when the package hit it with a thump... I opened door, delivery guy was already walking away, I asked why they never ring bell..."we don't have to, unless a signature is required" (!) I told him UPS & Amazon DO!... It is now Dec. 12th... my NEIGHBOR calls, they have a package that belongs to me!... It is the FIRST, WRONGLY DELIVERED package from early December, being redelivered, but AGAIN TO THE WRONG ADDRESS!... Is there anyone at FedEx that gives a...(whatever) what is happening to their customers and to their company?
BTW, my former bus. Partner received a wrong package recently, he called FedEx several times to pick it up... it took them almost a week to pick it up!... Someone certainly was waiting for that package also!
FedEx can not seem to deliver a package successfully which is awful for a package delivery company. I never have any issues with UPS or USPS but something always goes wrong with FedEx. Whether it's not leaving a clearly marked perishable box that does not require a signature, or just plain losing packages, there is always a problem. Even there 1-800 number doesn't work. The recording cuts off randomly and says it doesn't understand you when you have not had the chance to repeal yet. Again, horrible.
My item was shipped from London to the USA. The package left the facility and traveled to Memphis Tennessee, where it cleared international import. A day later, my shipment went from "will be delivered on X date" to "pending". "The package has no contents" so magically my box, which left the facility with a good amount of weight in it, got to fedex import where they probably open packages and all of a sudden it's empty? It's not only this, it is the fact that they didn't even bother updating the tracking to "package will not be delivered" or anything. Just sat and waited. Even better, we paid for international priority ($$$) which YOU CANNOT GET REIMBURSED by the company. So they know they cannot fulfill their promises but will charge you anyways! Now we will have to submit a claim, which will probably take weeks as Fedex doesn't seem to care about their business or their customers only to have my wife's custom-made gift to be late (if we will ever get it at all); absolute trash of a company.
We shipped trusting fedex urgently needed blessing for my nephew to NYC from SF overnight delivery paid top dollar never happened. Late by 4days but they charge and refused to refund. Better-off use USPS priority mail. Why pay 5-6 time more and if no guarantee. I am so pissed off and there is no regulation by us transport Authority

Answer: They would leave note that they would attempt to "redeliver", even if you were home when they claim they allegedly attempted the first time and they did not even knock so you can come out to receive your package. In my case, they said they will attempt to redeliver yesterday. Guess what? They did not and i receive an email saying i will have to pick it up from whatever branch. I told them that if i had to come out to go somewhere to get my package, I would've just gone directly to the shipper and the shipper would'nt have had to pay fedex for sucky no service.
