I have been trying to get a signature required delivery to my house for the 2nd time in a month--same package. The first time for three days in a row they messaged that they "missed me" and would supposedly try again. There was never a missed delivery note left and they did not follow any instructions I left on the door to knock or text/call as there is no doorbell. On day three I managed to reach a local manager--after being on the phone for nearly an hour. He had to Google Earth my address and because we have a row of bushes by the sidewalk in front of our house he couldn't "find it" either. Nor could he tell where his driver had supposedly tried to deliver it.
I should also state at this time I live on a major road on the Isthmus in Madison WI. It is a rather easy place to find as we have the address on the stairs from the sidewalk and very prominently on a white front door as well. So, it's not like I am at some farm road off another farm road in the middle of nowhere. I get deliveries every day from nearly every company out there and have almost never had a problem. This is only an issue with FedEx.
Today, I sit here with all of my lights on and doors open--no music or TV just so that I'll hopefully hear someone if they do come by. Getting discouraged as the last update on the tracking was that it hit Ft Wayne at 2pm but still shows as will be delivered today in Madison. I don't see how it can make it that far that fast but, I have not been advised otherwise despite spending the greater part of two days earlier this week setting up my delivery manager app. (a whole other nightmare)
This also doesn't cover the wholly incompetent and ridiculous customer service hoops I had to jump through. Other than a lovely lady named Melissa (I believe) it has been hours and hours of pure **** trying to get the assistance I need.
The short of the long is my question of: how is it that a company that their only business is shipping and delivery cannot even get close to making that happen?
I didn't get to choose who shipped it and am truly sad that Samsung did.
Drivers are not careful on delivery address and DO NOT PAY FOR EXPRESS SHIPPING EVER with this company. They will lie and not scan the actual delivery date to try and keep from refunds. Have no idea why BBB has A+ as rating since there are so many unresolved complaints with at least 3 businesses that I am associated with and several bad reviews online for FedEx, Texas
So I have been expecting a package from FedEx all week and everyday its a different excuse. The first excuse was delayed for bad weather. The package was already in my state and we were not having bad weather. Lazy, next excuse there was something wrong with the label so they needed to get a new one put on it. Lazy, now this last excuse FedEx is so backed up with packages that they are running behind. Will never use FedEx again.
I made an online purchase on 2/1. Paid 2 day express shipping and was guaranteed to receive it by 2/4.
I requested my package be held at a location near me since I was not going to be home to sign for it. I was informed that I would be able to pick it up by the end of the day 2/7. I have been on the phone with someone from Fedex every day since (2/7) it is now (2/10) and every day they've been telling me something different. That I would be available to pick up the same day, not enough information or that I would be able to pick up the next day. This has been extremely frustrating as I paid additional money for shipping and have had to waste hours of my week trying to locate my package.
My Daughter order a package. Using FedEx Two-day delivery. We'll it's been a week now and No package. And yes she has been tracking her package. And she gets The same Bull $#*! messages your package is in a Truck and will be delivered at such and such time. But nope still no package. So she tried calling several times. And had to Deal with Automated Bull $#*!.And when you do get to talk to an actual person. There's a language barrier and nothing gets resolved.So Basically what I'm saying is get your $#*! together.And don't charge extra money for promise you can't keep.
I'm so overwhelmed about fedex o though was a responsible company but lately in dallas texaa everything get missing before they delivery I got exercise equipment got lost or stolen in fedex position and them I was so happy I got some shoes just got released and they got los or stolen in fedex position they need to find out what's going on with fedex I thought was responsible company never again gonna request my packages thru fedex
Since COVID, I only shop online. I have a lot of packages arriving which is new for me. I have the most wonderful driver imaginable. Her name is Melissa. She is helpful and polite. She is fast and efficient. I love seeing her and saying hi, asking how every thing is going! She is a treasure.
The useless company called me saying they tried to deliver my package, but couldn't find the place. When i asked for what address they had tried to deliver, they replied with " we dont have an address for that parcel," the proceeded to tell me i needed to come pick it up.(in a town 4 hours from my house?!?!) They just don't care about their job. I've ordered countless items from Amazon, never had an issue till FedEx got one of my shipments. It come from the Tibetan mountains, yet they cant manage to bring it to my house. AVOID FedEx AT ALL COST IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. Fedex has become a hit or miss delivery service. A real coin toss if you get your package on tkmeor not or not at all. Over a month ago they lost my $1400 phone and still looking for it. Now I'm waiting on another pricey item that's couple days late. I don't understand why people use them as if the package isn't late it may not show up at all. Every day that I call about the where abouts of my package they say the same thing "it's on the way to the next stop and I'll get it today. BS
Never deliver on your due date, called customer service and gave me a bs excuse why it's late. Also, lied about weather issues and the facility it's at is 30 mins from me and it's clear as daylight. How does it go from Texas to Indiana to Louisiana (which where I live) back to Indiana saying it's a delay? Then they never send updates for notifications.
They update tracking history isn't good when you call and talk to someone you will get a thousand different answer they clearly don't know how to give people correct information and them blame it on whatever
I have two packages of perishables oranges not moving through their system. One has sat there for 4 days not moving in Wisconsin. Has to go to Tacoma Washington. The other was supposed to be deliver today and they said it was due to weather. Went into pending status! It was one of the best days we have had all winter! FedEx is bad news. Use UPS if you need to ship an item!
Do not go through fed ex for anything, I ordered from Walmart my package was supposed to get here Feb 8th then on that date they said it won't be delivered til the 9th of Feb from 12:00pm-5:05pm here it is after 7pm and still no package its delayed. They said it won't arrive til tomorrow we shall see. Horrible business never again will order through fed ex.
First package I ordered on January 17th from Amazon was sent through FedEx and when it got to the city I reside in. The package mysteriously disappeared so the company I ordered it from via Amazon resent it. This time when I got to my city of residence the package was delayed for a week I call led them with this complaint and they launched a investigation. The next day which was yesterday February 8th my packages came in but one of the boxes was open and the contents from the package was was not in the box it was supposed to come in. Some one had opened them and removed the contents and that's how it was delivered.
Today February 9th I called them about another package delay which the contents were perishable now I wasted money due to their ability to not keep up to their word on delivery time and this ultimately led to the manager by the name of Cathy in the billing department hanging up on me when I was describing what had happened and note I was note talking to her in any agressive tone. The customer service agent that goes by the name of Brandon lied to me about the current weather where the package was currently at. This is literally the worst shipping company to ever exist in the current times. They can not keep their word on delivery and their employees go unchecked and steal packages.

Off delivering where you can't track a packages ETA you have to wait the whole day 9am to 8pm with no info on when it will be delivered. Yet Amazon can do this already. Morons at fedex
The package was supposed to arrive on February 7th, but they delayed it. The second attempt was supposed to deliver the end of day on February 9th. But they didn't come the end of the day, they tried delivery at 10am. I wasn't home around 10 in the morning because they said they were coming at the end of the day. I came home around 12 o'clock. I called customer service around 12:00 and the lady said they would try again at 1:30. But they didn't deliver it. She lied to me. I found out later that they couldn't do that. I canceled all my schedules on Feb 7th and Feb 9th and had to wait for FedEx. February 7 manager supposed to call me, but they didn't. It's the first time in my life I've ever had a headache like this to receive a package. I have to go pick up the 50lb heavy stuff at walgreen on February 10th. I canceled all my schedules for 2 days and waited for FedEx. I couldn't do it another day, so I decided to go pick it up. It was the worst experience ever. Next time I buy something, if FedEx delivers it, I won't buy there.
I stopped using UPS for shipping as their drivers don't give a #$% about your packages. So I thought let's try fedex... first shipment with them and it's been delayed 3 times, was supposed to be delivered on the 4th of the month it is now supposed to be delivered on the 10th. Called customer service 3 times( call center located in Manila) and I get yes it's delayed no sorry no this is the reason no let me see if I can get you a percentage of your shipping reimbursed NOTHING... this is the last time I will EVER use this trash company I give them 0 stars I hate the fact that nobody takes pride or responsibility for their work these day... so unhappy
My brother passed away on January 22,2022 I shipped some personal items to the funeral home in Florida, the items were scheduled to arrive on Friday 2-4-2022. His service was Saturday 2-5-2022 The item did not arrive until the following Monday 2-7-2022 Spoke with FedEx they said there was nothing they could do. So I'm out of $100 dollars. It probably won't hurt them but I will never use FedEx to ship again. Worst company.
I had 2 separate packages delivered damaged, taped up, and broken. After the 1st complaint about a broken and damaged delivery, the north Tulsa driver falsified a claim stating they attempted to deliver a package when they did not. After making a second complaint, they delivered yet another damaged box that looked like they dropped in water then taped up. After not receiving a promised phone call within 48 hours, for either package, I spoke to a supervisor. She was rude and tried to discredit my claims of how the driver obviously damaged the 2nd package due to retaliation from the 1st complaint. The quality of service is horrible from not only the ground workers, but also the management. I don't know what type of credentials it takes to obtain a federal job, but it's obvious that they are scraping the very bottom of the barrel to find their employees. It's becoming more apparent that federal employees think they can do whatever they please with no penalty. And the simple fact that I can't speak to someone with a logical brain and the capability to handle real complaints, shows just how much FedEx lacks in all aspects of customer service. At this point I'd rather drive out of state for a package before having a FedEx employee deliver anything. 2 damaged packages in 1 week should be unacceptable by any federal employer, but not FedEx, they have very low standards for who they hire. I'd upload pictures but every time I attempt to add a photo, the system set up so that nothing will load because the file is "too big to upload".
How do you put someone on unpaid leave after he is shot at delivering packages.
He should be getting paid to be off. Now you people wanna put that driver on the same route. YOU ARE PUTTING HIS LIFE IN DANGER. Now you want to punish him for saving his own life. I hope you go bankrupt. You are a racist company. If it would have been a white driver I'm sure you would have changed his route and gave him paid leave.

Answer: Based on my experience and other reviews I have read, FEDEX is looking to put itself out of business. I will be very happy when Amazon buys them for a discount.

Answer: They would leave note that they would attempt to "redeliver", even if you were home when they claim they allegedly attempted the first time and they did not even knock so you can come out to receive your package. In my case, they said they will attempt to redeliver yesterday. Guess what? They did not and i receive an email saying i will have to pick it up from whatever branch. I told them that if i had to come out to go somewhere to get my package, I would've just gone directly to the shipper and the shipper would'nt have had to pay fedex for sucky no service.
