Purchased a pair of shoes online, gave my credit card details and received confirmation of order. A few hours later received an email advising that displayed the wrong price and I would have to pay an extra $300 if I wanted them (like it was my fault).
I requested cancellation and asked them to confirm that they had either credited back my money or hadn't taken it in the first place as their email was not clear.
I have done this numerous times and haven't had a reply. I wont be shopping with this store again.
Wanted to tell everyone about my experience with Farfetch! Everything was great. My account and order wasn't showing up after I had purchased something so I sent over an e-mail to support and got a reply within hours! It was a friday night to boot, I know they operate in a different time zone but still impressive nonetheless! Shipping was also very fast, within like 6 days-coming from Italy to Canada! Loved how my purchase came wrapped up in cute polka-dot paper as well!
I will definately be ordering from them again!
First off I have to say the concept behind farfetch.com is amazing because it allows customers to order products from luxury boutiques all over the world. Secondly my experience with them was great because I got my order alot quicker than expected and both the boots and dress I ordered fit me perfectly so the size chart and all product specifications are accurate! The dress was send from Henrik Vibskov Copenhagen boutique and it was wrapped beautifully, plus I got an amazing poster with the designer's latest collection! Would recommend it happily to anyone!
I order recently items worth US$ 1985 this is a large amount of money- this is my first time ordering and item for this website as i really love the jacket and the shoes that will shipped from a small boutique from france- i pay the whole amount on my card and the money as been taken or pending from far fetch- and they told me that i need to transfer the money to there bank account which they will sent me over from and email and let go of my money which is in pending! I purchased this on monday 22/10/12 and the response of the email is very slow! I tried to ring customer service and it only put me on a left message! I still dont have my money with me and my order is not in process! I keep emailing farfecth and there response are very slow and the action is disgusting! I am very worried now that if i can get back my money or my order witht his company are genuine... please help!

HORRIBLE! I HAD TO SUBMIT MY ORDER TWICE BECAUSE THE COMPANY COULD NOT ''VERIFY'' MY CREDIT CARD DETAILS, REGARDLESS IF I EMAILED THEM NUMERUS TIMES COPIES OF MY PERSONAL DATA. THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AS THEY COME! THEY REFUNDED MY CREDIT CARD TWICE AND THEN APOLOGIZED! STAY FAR THEY ARE A HASSLE!

Someone stole my credit card (Amex) and purchased $527 worth of merchandise on this site. I have e-mailed several times and Amex has reached out to them and no one has responded in 2 months.
Still waiting on my return!? Still heard nothing!
Ordered a pair of Steve McQueen sunglasses from fartetch they're supposed to be 714 model and I was sent the 649 model. After contacting customer service I get a response saying they'd contact the boutique about my inquiry!? I stated I just wanted my money back and felt they miss-advertised the product. Still haven't heard anything after sending yet another email to farfetch.
When dealing in high end products you need to have a good customer service team to settle any questions reguarding products. You also can't have your customers feeling scammed, as I do. I'm afraid I'll never see my money again and since I've shipped the sunglasses back I know have nothing to show for it.
I am new customer to FarFetch. Made a checkout payment of $758 AUD after the exchange rate. FarFetch replied, cancelled my order and request for bank transfer. Tried to do a bank transfer, now it cost $808 AUD with the lower exchange rate and bank transfer fee that I have to pay. Apparently the first payment was already been sent and now FarFetch has refunded me, its going to take 14 days to do a credit refund. Horrible, I am not going to pay until I receive my first payment.
Don't understand why FarFetch has to complicate the payment process. I never had such problems with LUISAVIAROMA, MR PORTER, Net-A-Porter etc eben with huge transactions. FarFetch doesn't understand 'service quality', now it has incur extra cost and time on their customer hands. It really hurts to get such a terrible shopping experience, I will not recommend anyone to buy from here. MR PORTER and Net-A-Porter are both UK firms like FarFetch, but their customer service is absolutely outstanding compared to FarFetch.

I have had the same bad customer experience as most of you and yes, wish I'd read the reviews before.
I am massively frustrated that I have effectively had to hand over £70 to UK Revenue & customs just because I was taking a punt on a $230 dress that might suit me for a wedding (it arrived and was see-through - not part of the description, and therefore returned 'free' but with me £70 down).
For customers - use this site if there is something you KNOW you won't want to return and are willing to pay hidden costs such as import tax on to get it.
For Mr FarFetch as a young company wanting to improve:
- please can you make it MUCH clearer to customer the exact duty they will be required to pay at checkout - not doing so is totally misleading from my experience of being a customer.
- please can you give as much detail as possible regarding the product, and hold the boutique accountable for this (as per ebay)
- please can you be clearer about your role - effectively as an aggregator it seems at the moment. You say on the website orders will come from different boutiques but it was not clear to me that after this point the consumer would be stuck not knowing if you or the boutique or neither would take responsibility/be the contact. Your 5 day return policy does not give much time to sort this out if it involves government import/export.
I e-mailed my frustrations to your contact but there was no comment on the above, but general apologies and confirmation I had been refunded on the 2 dresses I ordered and sent back through your free refund policy. This riles me still as it cost me £70 to receive them.

It was my first experience at Farfetch and I was very positively surprised.
I ordered on Monday afternoon and received my order on Wednesday morning - extremely fast! (the item was shipped within Europe).
Communication was good - I received several e-mails from both Farfetch and the shop where I ordered the item.
I'll definitely be back soon!
I have no doubts that the site is legit, I still wonder why they do this:

One of the best online shopping experiences I have had, and I have had many. I do ninety percent of my shopping online, and will definitely be clicking back to farfetch.com particularly for luxury items and speedy shipment.
Email communication was instant and shipment prices exceptional. Living in Australia, a lot of our luxury items are heavily taxed. I purchased shoes at farfetch.com for $600 cheaper than their cost in Melbourne, and they arrived four days later from Italy.

I usually order from net-a-porter.com but the Valentino shoes I wanted were 120 £ cheaper on farfetch site. So I decided to risk it although you can find a few negative reviews about this shop.
Very happy with the service, shoes arrived properly packaged, in 3 days (I ordered from Austria to Dubai), correct size & looking fab.
Dreadful and incompetent service.
Placed an order almost a week ago - farfetch still unable to tell me where the order is or what is happening.
Order shipped after a few days, then the DHL status said returned to shipper.
Chased the company several times for a response, no one ever got back to me as promised. In the end cancelled the order; I am now very nervous as to whether I will get any sort of refund.
I would advise people not to use this service - very unsatisfactory service and unreliable. By comparison I used another service in the US and the goods were shipped from the US to Asia in 4 days; after almost a week farfetch.com could not even tell me where the goods were or what was happening - total joke! Do not use this site.

Tried to place an order using PayPal; didn't go through. So I tried again using my VISA; received a message stating that there was a problem and that I should try again or use another card. Used another card, but received the same message again. Called my bank-Wells Fargo; Wells Fargo OK'd the transaction, but farfetch.com sent me an email stating that they couldn't 'confirm some payment details,' whatever that means. Called my bank AGAIN. Wells Fargo said that farfetch.com was paid - and this is a large amount of money, BTW. Received an email from farfetch.com stating that they are refunding my VISA within the next few days. What is going on with these people? My bank cautioned me against ever doing a wire transfer which is what farfetch.com suggested I do, even when my VISA already paid them.

I am dissatisfied with the quality of the service offered by farfetch.com. Awful experience.
Farfetch.com did not react swiftly and, because of that, the order was sent three days later as foreseen. Farfetch.com did not release the package on the fallacious pretext that it did not receive a copy of my bank statement.
So after reading all the horrible reviews, I wad really expecting the worst for my farfetch experience. But despite all of the negative comments, I was pleasantly surprised. I got an email two days after ordering that the shoes had been shipped fr Italy and four days later they were at my doorstep. I prayed and prayed that they would fit an they did so I didn't have any experience with the farfetch return policy. The shoes were packages in a nice box and in pristine condition! They were cheaper than if I tried to buy them in the states too! Overall, happy costumer.
I used farfetch 3 times now and love it. Everything was received on time and was in a perfect condition. I am based in the UK and the clothes I bought were from European boutiques. I guess if I was to buy from the US boutiques I would have to pay tax duty. Its good to keep that in mind. Great service and amazing clothes. Keep it up! Recommend!
A terrible experience. I wish i had seen the many negative reviews before i spent $350 on a pair of shoes. The shoes do not fit, as the actual makers have said they run a half size smaller than regular. So i have spent 5 days emailing farfetch customer service only to get absolutely no response whatsoever. I see now why they don't even have a phone number to reach them on their website. Obviously that is a dead give away for very bad customer service dept..

This website is not advertised I stumbled upon it by chance and I am so glad I found it. I love the idea of a global network of boutiques. The concept is good but I was sceptical of how it work in practice. I was proved wrong. The whole experience of browsing, ordering, creating an account was user-friendly, efficient and fast. No connection drops, perfect search facilities and filtering.
Items ordered arrived promptly and beautifully wrapped. Returns system is well-established. All in all, a perfect retail experience. I recommended the website to friends and family already.
Answer: In my experience, as far as genuine items go, yes. My recommendation to you is, research the store you're buying from, because your experience can be 0 or 5 stars depending who you're buying from. I bought a new Valentino bag and received an used one from a store called Gente Roma. Farfetch did nothing other than contact the store and politely reply back to me that there was nothing they could do about it! They made the sale, they're making money off me, off course they should have done something. Nope. I could return the bag, which was an option regardless. Gente Roma was so disonest about the condition of the bag, I was afraid they would blame me for sending back a used bag and only give me a patial refund. I felt my safest option was to keep the bag. On the other hand, when I bought a pair of Valentino shoes from Exelsior Milano my experience was flawless. From the fast shipping, to the packaging to shoes that had never been opened. Moral to the story: if Farfetch doesn't have to get involved, you're golden. If not, don't bother with them. Call the Pope or your credit card and dispute your charges instead. You'll have a better chance of getting something.
Answer: Maybe there is a 24 hour time frame to cancel your order after you made it but if that 24 hours frame has passed I'd try calling them. Their customer service can be helpful

Answer: It's a legit website and I purchased more than 5 times with Farfetch. Everything was good, authentic and the shipment was fast as well. I'm not sure how long it takes to ship to Singapore, but for my experience, I live in the US and it takes 3-4 days to deliver.
