I needed my tickets to Denver urgently! Nowhere was I getting tickets within my budget. Thanks to FareDepot.com that gave me what I was looking for.
They cancelled my booking without notification. Thankfully, this was before the charge appeared on my end. Avoid at all cost.
I travel quite a lot and have dealt with many different agencies and airlines and I have never experienced such rude, inept and poor treatment.
I booked a return flight to London with FD - flew there. When I tried to confirm my return flight I could not find it. Long story short, I was stranded in London with no flight home.
I had to stay over night (NOT CHEAP!) and fly out the next day.
FD told me it was the airline's fault as they cancelled the flight a few weeks earlier but never notified them.
I found out from the airline that they had notified Fare Depot.
Fare Depot then took the position that since I got a return flight I had nothing to complain about. Further, they told me it was my fault "I should have checked 72 hours in advance" then they told me to deal with the airline as it is their fault.
It was the most frustrating experience and I am left with a significant cost, a profound inconvenience and I will NEVER use this company again. They have absolutely NO concept of customer service!
This is the worst experience I have ever had with a ticketing company. I booked a ticket on March 1,2015 and my flight to Las Vegas from Toronto on March 17,2015 was confirmed. On March 14,2015 I received an email with them saying that since I have an upcoming flight with them, here are some activities I can do at my destination. I get to Pearson on March 17,2015 and get on my flight to Las Vegas. Everything is fine and dandy.
Then on March 24,2015 when I am to return to Toronto, I get to McCarren airport in Las Vegas and discover that I have no ticket as it has been voided. In addition, I found out that I had two tickets inbound to Las Vegas from Toronto, both of which were voided... Which makes no sense as I only booked one ticket and somehow managed to get to Las Vegas. So instead of having one valid ticket, which I thought I had, I had two voided ones.
Regardless, on March 24,2015 I am stranded in Las Vegas being told that I have no return ticket home, because FareDepot.com apparently doesn't book tickets with the airline when you book with them online. So, I had to pay over the table for the entire round trip again. So I paid $363.58 on March 1, and then an additional $574.25 on March 24,2015 so I could return home.
I called FareDepot today to try and understand how on earth this could happen, of course FareDepot could not explain themselves. Not only did they have absolutely no clue what happened, they were completely incompetent and put me on hold 4 times in an hour. They could not explain how I never received notification about a voided ticket either. Thankfully FareDepot does not know what they are doing, because apparently they never charged my credit card on March 1,2015. Though I still had to pay for my roundtrip at an inflated price because of them. So I ended up losing $200 anyway, plus a whole lot of headache.
I had to travel to Scotland and do that within my budget. Whilst others failed, FareDepot.com helped me with offers within my budget. I really had a wonderful trip.
My budget for tickets to Bermuda was less. I wanted to economical option. When I logged into FareDepot.com, I found options within my budget. I couldn’t have asked for more.
I was planning to take a budget tour to Sri Lanka. I came across and browsed through FareDepot.com and got my tickets done for much less than what other service providers were offering me. Thank you FareDepot.com

I went to skyscanner USA to buy a discounted round trip ticket to London and they sent me to Fare Depot whom I have never used. They responded quickly right a way with the purchase confirmation. A day later, they sent the ticket number for Virgin Atlantic so I can make seat assignments and all is well. I would not hesitate to use them again. So far so good.

Hi! I needed to fly to Thailand for a weekend vacation. I planned it suddenly and had to get everything done in short notice. Had Faredepot.com not been there, I couldn’t have made it.
I never received my ticket number and when contacting them... after several attempts... they FINALLY answered me. They were SO RUDE! And when I waited for the "MANAGER" after several minutes, he said that I got him out of a meeting and he said I WILL NOT REFUND YOU! WE DID NOTHING WRONG! And the HUNG UP ON ME TAKING ALMOST $1000! I AM SO MD AT THEM!
I purchased tickets on line and had some concerns when I received an email about a security check with my credit card. After calling Faredepot customer service and speaking with Allwyn I was able to resolve my problem quite quickly. I had to call a few times before someone answered but I did get through... twice! Quite easily. I was very satisfied with my experience with faredepot and would not hesitate to use them again!
Got flight tickets with a stopover but airport 3 hours away. Impossible to make connection. Had to spend another thousand dollars to make it work. Never again
$#*! service. Didn't even make it on my flight and I am disappointed and disgusted with the service I received. Never again will I book with this company.
Hi! I’m Christian. I fly almost thrice a month for work. Thank God for Faredepot.com. Travelling was way too strenuous before I met these people. Well what can I say? Travelling is fun now!
Don't EVER use them the biggest scam! My friend booked a flight to LA to meet me with them, she received an email saying all was confirmed. Showed up at the airport and the airline said they never received a booking from them! She had to dish out an extra $500 to buy another flight from the airline. When she called Fare Depot the customer service was AWFUL and started cutting her off and lying about everyone else at the call center being too busy to talk to her and that the manager was in a long meeting. He was rude and denied everything. These guys should not be allowed to operate I would be very surprised if there aren't lawsuits pending...
I was helped by an agent named Rosario today. I had made some mistakes in entering my travel information to San Francisco. He helped me cancel that flight and found me even a better one. He gave me a call back again after settling all things. Couldn't be more grateful!
Not answering their phones neither returning calls or replying to emails. Tried to contact them for several days and they are not responding. My flight has changed and I was trying to notify these people and no one would. Answer. Horrible or simply not legit.
Be mindful of the fact that FAREDEPOT will always try to find an excuse like failing email connections, failing calls and other tricks, not to honor the agreed ticket fare and that they will lie over and over again and the reps will contradict each other. Horrible customer service.
If you are crazy enough book with them and loose your deals. I wished I had used another online service like cheapoair or expedia to book by flights.
