I purchased a ticket the morning of a movie, I realized the show time was in the PM, not AM... so I went back in the app to get a refund/credit. But, because the payment was pending at the bank and it was a Sunday I called Fandango customer service for help. I was on hold with for hours with no response. I have screen captures showing the time and date before the movie showing and NOT having the choice for a refund or credit. Also screen capture with time/date and how long I was on hold... The ticket was $20.20... they closed out my complaint tickets after calling and getting through, their customer service is AWFUL... won't ever be using Fandango again!

Total scam

Horrible customer service. Waited an hour on hold, then when someone finally answered they "transferred" me, then I immediately got cut off. Also their VIP rewards are a total fraud... I was not able to redeem them. I'll never use Fandango again!

Stole my Money

Purchased two tickets by mistake for another City (I realize this was my fault) but when I tried to contact them immediately, I was unsuccessful. I was on hold for 2 1/2 hours and never got thru until the next day after a 3 hour hold and a 2 hour chat time hold! This company is fraudulent. There is no customer service that exists. WARNING - DO NOT GET THEIR APP OR USE THEIR SERVICE. There is no such thing as an exchange or refund and their app doesn't work for exchanges. DON'T BE FOOLED

I purchased 5 tickets online with the wrong date. I purchased the ticket for the same day and had only 15 minutes prior to show time. I totally realize that this was my fault. I called Fandango immediately. I was place on hold for over an hour and never spoke with a customer service rep. I eventually disconnected from the call and I've lost $62. It would have been good customer service if someone from the company could have simply answered the phone and exchanged the tickets for another day. Is this company legit? I will never use them again and will spread the word. They have to do better with the respond time.

I purchased two tickets -- Immediately had an act of God disable my car before we could go see our movie. I asked them if we could just get additional tickets to see a future time -- They said that they cannot do that. No explanation, nothing. Garbage customer service.

We bought 2 tickets on the app and the app said the purchase was complete. They refunded the tickets for no reason. We drive to the movie theater thinking we have tickets and we don't. Wasted time and money driving there. We call them and it takes 30 minutes for them to answer the phone. We explain what happened and the customer service lady says that it never happened and that it said there was an error and that the app couldn't have said the purchase was complete. She was completely rude about the entire thing and then tried to hang up on us till I asked for a manager. She said they didn't have a manger to talk to. They are rude and have no respect for anyone. They have absolutely terrible customer service. Never use them!

I strongly advise against ever using Fandango for buying tickets. On two occasions, all due to issues with the application, I got ripped off for a total of about $50. Their customer service is almost non-existent and spent hours on hold just to be treated poorly and refused any compensation. Trust me you're better off buying online directly from the movie theaters as Fandango seems to have become a scam nowadays, which is sad...

Worst customer service I've ever received. Spend almost 2 Hours on phone WAITING for somebody to come on the line. Finally get somebody to answer, doesn't say anything, & hangs up! At the same time while trying to get somebody on the phone I was on the chat, just to make matters worse! Also almost 2 hours, finally got somebody on the chat & when typing in my concerns, she leaves the chat. I reached out by email, & still to this day no answer. Worst company ever! DO NOT GO THROUGH THEM, YOU WILL REGRET IT.

Ripp-off company

I been using them for about a year, recently I booked 8 tickets, for that they charged me a hefty fee. Unfortunately, plans changed real quick and i went into cancel the tickets. First online system won't let me, and than i had to wait half hour for online chat. She was super rude, did not care. And in the end won't refund me my booking fee of around $15. Such a bad service. Wonder how many people they rip-off on daily basis who wants to cancel there tickets and make millions.

You can call and they immediately put you on hold. They say 5mins. Good luck. It's usually about an hour. And when they do get to you, they can't help you regarding your purchase. They can't refund, they can't credit, the only thing they can do is apologize. Worst. Customer. Service. Ever.

I bought two 3D tickets to Spider-Man thru Fandango $28. When I got to theater the projector was broken. I was told to get a refund from fandango. Fandango is impossible to contact. Was on chat for more than an hour and then it froze. Was on phone for more than an hour and gave up. Tried customer service - received ridiculous circular emails. They are the worst. Avoid headaches and do not use fandango. Send a message to everyone you know until they go out of business. Bad companies should no earn our use

We bought movie tickets for my family and my aunt and uncle and right before the movie began my family's plans changed and because the movie had already began and I COULDNT get in touch with anyone from fandango until the next day they wouldn't even issue me a credit! This is very bad business and I will NEVER use them again for tickets! Everyone do yourself a favor and book straight thru the theatre!

We got tickets to see Toy Story 4 and we got caught by a really bad storm, we missed the movie and I have sent them screenshots of the storm, my email stating why we couldn't make it with movie confirmation, proof of payment ect - they still won't refund me $60 second time they have done this to me! You can't get ahold of anyone when you call their customer service number and they never email you back! Worst COMPANY! CEO - should be ashamed of themselves to take advantage of families like this!

Requested a refund of $15.70. Purchased a ticket on 6/30 and when I got to theater it was still pending on the app and I hadn't received a confirmation so I could not use it. I had to buy another ticket at the theatre as a result to see the movie. NOW Fandango will not refund the ticket I purchased with them! I used them for many years but now I will never use them again. You cannot request a refund BEFORE the movie started because they keep on hold for almost a hour waiting. Ridiculous.

There is no customer service what so ever by my mistake I printed out tickets wrong and never went to see the show tried to explain, they would not hear about it. I am cancelling my Fandengo there is many other ways to buy ticket use the app Regal

We purchased two tickets through fandango for a movie at a local theater. When we got to the theater the seats were extremely uncomfortable and not in a good view of the movie screen whatsoever. Do you theater said that if we had purchased through them they wouldn't have refunded our money but because we purchased through Fandango we had to reach out to fandango to get refunded or to exchange the tickets We Waited 40 minutes to be able to chat with somebody on Fandango. They basically said we were out of luck ( for an exchange or a refund-it would not do either). Will never ever use fandango again!

Purchased 1 too many tickets and went to the Fandango site to obtain a refund (before the movie as noted in the terms. It took almost 25 minutes before an on-line support person connected and her demeanor was very short and to the point. Sorry, no refund. No help, no support, and absolutely no care about the situation. The person at the movie ticket office said if we had purchased through them, they would gladly have refunded the extra ticket. I will never use Fandango again!
