Because as I say the cheap always comes out to be expensive, and this company EZContacts were not the exception. Ordered on Dec. 3,2018 and did receive on time on Dec. 9,2018, but disgracefully contacts have been a scam. I opened 1st pair for New Years' Eve and didn't last anything, because they've been getting blurry and unseeable after 2-3 weeks. They've not lasted at all, paid for a 6 month supply & for it to be used up & gone in less than 4 months. It's because they must have sent me the 15 days contact lenses not the the 30 days.
This company will take your money and leave you high and dry! They will not respond they have hung up on every phone call before I could speak to someone, the ignore over 25 emails asking to refund my money because my order was never shipping after WEEKS of waiting. All chats will be ignored all emails will be ignored and all phone calls will be ignored. GO TO ANY OTHER BUSINESS! Please save yourself the trouble, this is NOT a legitimate company
I'd never buy from these clowns again. They sent the wrong glasses. And wrong lens. When I called to get it fixed - I waited on hold for 1hr17min before I even spoke to anyone. I've emailed 7 times for a return authorization. No answer. I've done the online chat 3 times... it just says "no ones available, leave a message via email".
It's an absolute JOKE of a company. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE HACKS
If I could have left less than one star I would have. Horrible company. Took a month to get my order. Called a week in and they said it'd ship in a few days. It didn't ship till 3 weeks later. I no longer needed them by the time they got here. I have emailed the company multiple times about a return with no response. You're constantly on hold with customer service. If you don't call right at 9am ET expect to wait on the phone for quite a while. I called at 9:03am and was on hold for an hour.
I was shocked when I found all the negative reviews since I have shopped 4-5 times from them and never had an issue. The sunglasses are authentic and at a very reasonable price. Surprisingly, shipping time has always been very fast for me as well.
I ordered my sons contacts on 2/25 took a few weeks to receive his order. However I ordered mine 2 days after his and STILL HAVE NOT received them. I have emailed them today being the 3rd time. Only once have I received a response and it only stated my order was waiting to be shipped? I asked if they could not arrive by a certain date for the order to be credited and canceled and that also wasnt done! This is my 5 or 6 time ordering from them and their service has progressively gotten worse!
I ordered my contacts on March 30th. I did not receive any updates via email and I was forced to contact customer service on April 5th. At that time, I was informed that the contacts I ordered were out of stock. EZContacts verbally guaranteed that my order would be shipped later that day directly from the supplier. I did not get a shipping confirmation and I called customer service again on April 8th. I was once again guaranteed that my order would ship that day. I asked for an email confirmation of the guarantee. I received the following message instead..."It's Cynthia getting back to you from Ezcontacts. Our supplier actually had your order cancelled. :( I cancelled and refunded your order."
There are many other reliable websites to use. My advice, STAY AWAY!
I have ordered several times from EZcontacts and loved all the sunglasses. I also had an issue with a credit from sunglasses that were covered under warranty with the site. Gavin was able to help me use the credit and get new glasses quickly and easily.
Galvin Fein was extremely polite and helpful. He revised my order very quickly and helped expedite my order so I could have it for my upcoming trip! Awesome customer service!
Ordered glasses over two weeks ago. When I email them I get no response. When I call the contact number I get a Life Alert type sale pitch and a hang up. Are they still in business?

Ordered my contacts 10 days ago and have received no updates to order. I have tried to call customer service and have been on hold for 30 minutes. I am still number 18 in line, they need to change their name.
I have bought a couple of times from ez Contacts and had no problems till this last order. One box I received were extremely blurry. I could not figure out what was going on and thought something was wrong with my eyes. My husband reminded me that I just got new contacts and to try the other box. I did and immediately noticed a difference. The box that was blurry had a different lot number and was made in Ireland unlike the one that I could see fine with. I called and they said they would only replace the unused portion. I told them I paid for contacts and received a full box of defective contacts. After going through numerous people, I finally got told I would recieve a replacement box. I still have not heard anything, so I called today. I was left on hold for over 30 minutes to be told a supervisor would call me back in an hour. I still have not heard a thing. Very disappointing.
I have ordered from them a few times and they have gone down hill. I am sitting on hold now for over 10 minutes and I am still caller #30... Yes 30. I'm interested to see if my contracts come before I actually talk to someone.

1 week later they haven't shipped and I have not heard from them. Now I wait on the phone and give this review to every site while I wait. This is the second time and the last.
We have used this company in the past with no problems. We recently cancelled an order because they charged our card before shipping. We re-ordered and were assured by customer service that our card would not be charged until the item was available and shipped. Our card was charged the same day. Four days later we received notification that the item shipped along with a USPS tracking number. But now, a week later, USPS is showing that the item has not left its Brooklyn distribution center. How could that be?
We are beginning to think we are inadvertently in the business of providing short-term loans to this company. They have our cash and we get it back three weeks later when we realize we are not going to receive anything for it.

I ordered sports goggles for my son last year, they took a month to get shipped. The goggles came with clear lenses and sun glass lenses but only on the sun glass lenses were prescription. Now what I ordered. After I called and waited 20 minutes to finally get to speak to someone to check on my order they told me that I didn't order glasses, then I was hung up on. UGH.
I had a simple question today to ask if I could just order the lenses for the interchangeable goggles that I bought fro them. Customer Service emailed me a return form. They weren't familiar with if we could just order replacement lenses for their product. I wasn't asking to return what I have... AWFUL they don't know their own products.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. Tried to order for over a month, they took my $200, still have not received the order, and still have not gotten my money back. If you use this company, be prepared to be on top of them to get your order processed and shipped, or you'll have to be on top of them for your money back.
Details for those interested: I placed an order on 2/23/19. I had trouble getting this order approved by my eye doctor, so I requested a copy of my prescription which I uploaded to my account. After not receiving approval, I reached out through the messaging option on their website on 3/18. After not receiving a response, I emailed directly on 3/20.4 days later, on 3/24, I received an email from a representative stating "Your order is already being processed by our supplier and will ship directly from them shortly. We are just waiting for the tracking number which will be sent to you automatically. Rest assured that I have already notified the appropriate department to prioritize your order." I waited for 3 days and still did not receive a tracking number, and finally called on 3/28. After hanging up three times due to extensive (20+ minute) wait times, I was finally able to talk to a representative. She informed me that she saw I had been waiting on this order for over a month and assured me that the facility was waiting on the order from the manufacturer. She told me that my order had been prioritized and I would receive a tracking number within 2-3 business days. On 4/1, I received an email saying that my order had been cancelled, per my request. I am beyond shocked that I have one representative telling me that my order is being prioritized on a Thursday, and then another one telling me that my order has been cancelled the following Monday. As of 4/7, I STILL DONT HAVE CONTACTS OR MY MONEY BACK
I ordered a pair of glasses and I can't be any happier with the quality and value of them. I waited a little longer than expected but it was totally worth it, I highly recommend Ezcontacts to anyone looking to get new eye glasses at an affordable price.
I paid more than $100 and They sent me fake lenses I was in the process of moving states and I was unable to return them /:
DONT EXPECT ANYTHING ON TIME OR TO BE ABLE TO REACH CUSTOMER SERVICE, YOU WILL SIT ON HOLD FOR HOURS TO BE DISCONNECTED, CHAT WILL DISCONNECT YOU WHEN YOU ASK FOR A MANAGER TO CONTACT YOU, AND DONT DARE COMPLAIN THAT NO ONE TOLD YOU YOUR STUFF WAS ON BACK ORDER AND IT WOULD BE OVER A MONTH BEFORE YOU RECEIVED IT!
Answer: You will wait and wait and wait and maybe have them tell you they are coming and then wait and wait and wait. My advice... don't order from them. There are so many lens companies that are fast and have good follow-up... it isn't worth it!
Answer: They are not a trustworthy company. They have lied to me on numerous occasions about an order I placed.
Answer: None of their frames are authentic, but some people don't seem to care as they are still in business, sad really as companies like this should be shut down.
Answer: This company lies, they do not return phone calls or e-mails, they have the worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with and I too wonder if they are a sham.
Answer: You won't get them the next business day. I ordered glasses 3 weeks ago. After 10 days I contacted them for update, they claimed that they are discontinued, no discount or anytghing offered. So I order something else, customer service great, claims glasses will be FedEx shipped next day. Still waiting... it's been 4 days, no update. If you need your glasses fast, order elsewhere.
