I have in the past ordered a few times. Each time got worse and I kept thinking it was isolated. But no this company is horrible, takes forever to ship, doesn't contact proper prescription providers, isn't helpful correcting or reaching out. Customer service is lacking. Overall after. A few orders I would NOT recommend them at all!

Pretty Smooth

Eyeconic is a pretty smooth experience. It's nice and convenient that it pulls right from your insurance benefit so you know what you have and know what your cost is before you get to check out.
What would be nice would be any option to enter your prescription/prescription information prior to checkout.

Difficult sign-in

Came over from the VSP website and had trouble placing my order. I completed the order then went to checkout and it demanded that I sign in. I tried my VSP login info and that didn't work. So I tried to reset my password and it said it sent an email to me but I never received it. Then I figured out I don't even have an Eyeconic website account so I created one. Your system should have TOLD me I didn't have an account and needed to create one when I requested a password reset. I tried the password reset multiple times and it kept saying it sent me an email. I had to figure out for myself that I needed to set up an Eyeconic account. This is not the first time I've purchased lenses from Eyeconic and in the past I came over from VSP also. So I assumed I already had an Eyeconic account, or that the systems talk to each other to transfer user info.

I've ordered from Eyeconic 3 years now because of how easy it is to connect insurance and automatically have benefits applied. I don't have to research or figure it out in store. Their customer service is great if you need help and the exchange process is easy if you need to use it.

I love my glasses. They did take awhile to acquire but I attribute that to ordering just before the holidays. My only concern is I think the bifocals may be off a bit. And the pair I ordered last year were 100% perfect

The first time I placed an order, no attempt was made to verify my prescription, and the day the glasses were supposed to arrive, I received a cancellation notice. The second time I ordered, the order was cancelled because the frames were no longer available. Cancellation occurred 8 days after the order was placed. Then I received an email to order a replacement; however, I was no longer able to receive the discount on the frames, and the replacement options in the 159.00 range were extremely limited. The only positive was when I called to cancel the order a human picked up the phone and was very friendly. Now I have been waiting since mid-November for new glasses. I hope this time I will actually receive a pair and not another cancellation.

Marked way up, discounts are fake

It is generally very slow to have your glasses made and shipped out. Additionally, the prices are predatory because the glasses are marked up 25-50% vs. nearly all competitor sites and then you get fake "discounts" to bring the price back down to MSRP basically. Unfortunately, I'm basically forced to use this service through my vision provider but it is tiresome to see these tactics, don't need 20/20 vision to see what's happening.

The try on tool is helpful to pick out glasses, the search tool is a bit clunky (hard to find the best deals that are covered by insurance) but I was able to get glasses very easily

Convenience as your provider owns the store so it's bundled into one. You know what you're going to pay and for me when I went into checkout it was cheaper than I expected.
