Ordered a good pair of glasses that fit and worked great under insurance.
I purchased some contacts a while back (Order #EYECMO*******), but the order got cancelled because the prescription had not been approved due to not meeting the requirements, or not matching some information.
Fast forward, I went to a new doctor, got a new prescription with all the requirements and made a purchase of 2-24 packs of contacts.
I mistakenly entered my OD prescription as +1.50 instead of -1.50.
I didn't realize this until I received my contacts and was trying them out. Once I discovered what was wrong, I sent an email to request for assistance, but nobody ever got in touch with me.
Then I read the policy for returning contacts and I saw it said the box had to be unopened.
Although I made a mistake entering the prescription, the person who had to validate this didn't catch the mistake either, which is the reason why I'm assuming you guys are so strict about these things.
On top of this, nobody ever reached out or replied to my email requesting assistance.
I purchased contact lenses years ago and I just ordered a pair of glasses. Had a great experience with contact lenses.
Contacts lens prices are jacked up more than 100% than what is found elsewhere online. And of course VSP members can't use their contact lens benefits anywhere but Eyeconic. Truly heinous.
Order process was easy, good. This was an exchange and it was unclear to me how to conduct the exchange - i simply placed a new order but there should be a one-click exchange check box or button. The user benefits did not acknowledge there was even an exchange.
Shipping is too slow, and the prescription validation takes too long.
