Prices and products are fine, but I get tired of clicking to see hidden information, especially dimensions, and whether or not what is on the page is already in my favorites file. Just put the info out there so that I can see it! Don't hide it behind additional clicks.
I have 4 pairs of glasses now that I love! I ordered 2 pairs the first time around and one of the frames were too small but their customer service was very helpful with the return process. The only down side was with the second time I ordered. No matter how many times I updated the shipping address, there were errors that wouldn't let the payment process but after I called them, they were able to resolve the issue and since I've made one more order and haven't had any issues! I love how cheap and easy it is!
My review was based on available frame choices and ease of website.
They have a very limited "better" frames and literally no size options. I only had 3 options on the frame style size, semi-rimless and none on the rimless. Then once the choice was made, the website was not allowing to proceed after the prescription was entered, unless you add more option, like a tint. I tried live chat, but the wait was for over 3 minutes.
This is my second buy. The first was OK to Good. The price is extremely reasonable and this is why I came back.
Ive ordered MANY glasses thru eye but direct. The XS kids frames are great for my 4 year old)he started at 3) and they really do last. When we get new ones for him its not that they have been ruined but weve lost them. My husband and I love our glasses as well. We can get a couple pair for our son and a pair for each of us with transitions for the price of one pair at the optometrists office. If your on the fence just do it! They are amazing

Although a discount and free shipping were "offered" (for first time customer), neither was available when it came to checkout. Couldn't delete one of two pairs of glasses from the order prior to checkout. Had to go to another computer to place the order. Not a good experience.

My only reason to come back here is because Costco and Zenni did not have the frames I was looking for. If you want a good looking and cheap pair of eyeglasses, this website is a right place. If you are willing to get great quality lenses and frames, go with Costco or Zennioptical.

My experience with the site was a little difficult, the person I spoke with kept breaking up, however we got thruogh it. The person on the other end was berry helpful, she walked me through how to set up my account in order to purchase my frames. Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call. Please get in touch with me asap about exchanging the glasses for ones with the correct lenses. Thank you very much.
