The website was difficult to get around in to get he Tesla needed. The glasses were to have transition lenses and they are barely darkened in the sunlight. Wanted 1.75 readers, but didn't get them. On a good note, the frames are nice. LASTLY, had no way of contacting EyeBuyDirect by phone for customer service huge disappointment).
I've ordered several pairs of glasses from eye direct and I've never been disappointed. The quality is the same as what I would expect from my eye doctor at more than half the price. The prescription is exactly correct every time. I have bifocals and they are perfect!
I bought a pair of glasses from here two years ago, and they're still doing well! They're flexible enough to be sat on a few times lol and cheaper than the ones they were selling at my dr's office.

Also when I tried to get prescription sunglasses, the site said none of the glasses would work for my prescription but I was able to get the exact prescription with the same glasses on another site, so I know they were not telling the truth, now I dont trust them.
I do love the glasses I get, however the quality is just not there. During my first time buying, shipping took over a month. The glasses themselves have lasted me about a year and a half. However during this time my lenses have gotten scratched, the metal around the nose pads began oxidizing making the nose pads blue, and a nose pad completely fell off. Not to mention the fact that the glasses have a hard time staying on my face, which I don't necessarily care about since they stay on well enough but it was worth the mention.
Again I do plan to purchase from here again. But those are some noteworthy issues.

The glasses purchased here are a present for someone else, the glasses for me will be purchased somewhere else. I don't see why someone with high prescription should be locked into the most expensive type of lenses with no options!

The glasses all have the same look. You can change the shape and that's all. There's no exciting frames. The glasses I bought ended up looking exactly the same except the temples are different. I didn't even know they were delivered till the survey showed up. I may or may not order again but definitely not for myself.
This is my second purchase and I would come back. I bought some glasses for my daughter and she loved them, of course she broke them because she is 11. I am not even mad because it's so simple to come back and get new ones. I'm on here shopping for myself and they have such cute options and great deals. I wish they had more shapes available.
I have purchased glasses here several times. It's easy to do with your prescription. If it doesn't include your pupillary distance the site shows how to measure for it. The glasses I get are as good as the ones I buy locally but with better selection. No cost surprises. No pressure. The try on feature helps a lot. I'm very happy with my latest bifocals.
Great glasses, great prices, excellent customer service, and it is easy to find a pair and "try on" frames. Slow, but easy. It's when I get to the part where I'm trying to pay that I find forms that freeze up, won't let me finish them, even if I change browsers. It repopulated--thanks to Google, I think--and the same thing happened. I refreshed screen and that worked this time without losing the order--I think. I don't always send to the same address. I buy for my granddaughter, for example. I also change to better credit cards sometimes. Please make it easier to do that; I'm going to have to drive to a house I am not currently occupying to get my order. I don't recall my last order date. It was for me and I bought round glasses but it's been a few years.
The customer service so far has been so worth it. Incredibly friendly and accommodating. I do hope your staff get treated well because they do go the extra mile which is the main reason I continue to use this site.

Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call. Please get in touch with me asap about exchanging the glasses for ones with the correct lenses. Thank you very much.
