To fill my newest prescription using my vision insurance at the Eye Care office would exceed $420 in my out of pocket cost. I ordered the style I prefer, which was not offered in the office, for $207 including insurance as shipping was free.

This was my first experience purchasing glasses online and it was an overall good experience. I love the ability to virtually try on the glasses on the website and I was able to find a nice pair of single vision glasses that cost me less out of pocket than my last set cost me even after using my employer provided vision insurance. I highly doubt I will purchase glasses in-store again since this process was so easy and convenient without all the huge retail markups.

I've never ordered glasses online and was leery. After seeing my eye doctor, my prescription had changed. I've worn progressive lenses for years. I picked out new frames and given a total of nearly $400... with insurance! I looked into several places for eye glasses online. After reading reviews and getting a recommendation from my daughter, I ordered new frames with progressive lenses for a fraction of the price at my eye doctor's office. They came quickly and are perfect! So perfect that I immediately ordered a second pair.
I tried to place an order and accidentally selected an old card, so therefore it didn't work and then it told me to refresh the page, I did that, then I selected the correct card and put in the CV number and it took me back to the "My Cart" page and the YAY35 coupon code was no longer on there. When I tried to add it back to it, it said "the coupon has been used the maximum number of times". I used the chat to speak with a customer service person who told me it would take days for them to fix it if I wanted to use the code so I had to use a different code because I didn't want to wait that long because I broke my glasses and it ended up costing me $10 more. I would appreciate a $10 refund.

I have never had any problem I ordered a pair of house glasses and sunglasses had a little problem with first pair I bought but returned them with no problem.

I've been looking for a great pair of glasses for the longest time. Ive gone years without glasses because i didnt feel confident in them. However with eyebuydirect i was able to try on glasses with the picture they have. It's very accurate on how it looks like in person. Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call. Please get in touch with me asap about exchanging the glasses for ones with the correct lenses. Thank you very much.
