Extreme Terrain does not honor their promotional items. I saved copy of item I was supposed to have received with photo.
3 years and 30k miles i have been dealing with clunking in my front end, I did a full suspension swap, ball joints, drive shafts, drag link, tie rod and STILL the clunck and clicking over bumps. Did Fins and things in Moab and several other tehcnical trails without any issues so i just dealt with it. Fast fwd till last week, My mechanic chased it down for a while and said its GOT to be the steering box, if i gave the tie rod some good tugging i can feel the slop in the connection to the pitman arm was evident.
After exhaustive research it seems replacing it with the OEM doesnt seem to last long so, especially since im on 35's. I decided to bite the bullet on a PSC Big Bore x2 (buy once cry once), the unit is massive and proper overbuilt so its got good piece on mind factor.
Happy to report my clunck is gone, steering is nice and light and seems tighter, havbt been for a proper long ride or wheeling yet but im sure its going to work well.
P.S.: The big bore had no fitment issues on my 2010 JK 2 dr with Terraflex drag link
The only place where I could get aftermarket parts that actually fit my 2015 Rubicon. I tried a couple of other places (even China) and nothing fit even though it was advertised as being made or my Jeep. Extreme Terrain has the real stuff, and it comes with directions for installation.
Don't be afraid, if they say it fits, it fits. And they have it for your model!
Bought the steer smarts brace and sector shaft support for my Jku. It has a 2.5 lift on 35's with Teralfex HD steering, and control arms.
We all know that jeeps have that "wandering" feeling in the steering, but after putting on the brace, that feeling is almost entirely removed. Honestly it made me excited to drive it on a trip down the west coast from Seattle to San Diego.
Highly recommend, it was built well.
Good I like the texts I get on sales and things going on
Super fast delivery. They look amazing on my Jeep and the kids LOVE IT! I was able to install them myself without issues 👍🏼
Fast delivery, product was what it said it would be.
As the heading states, the fun didn't last. The Rampage Trailview top I ordered is a mess. The rear bracket pre drilled holes are not even close to being in the correct position. I called ET about the issue and they requested pics, which I promptly provided. My confirmation email said to give them up to three days to review. We are now FIVE days out with no response from ET. I had to get my hardtop back out of storage so I can drive my Jeep. ET did send me a $20 voucher, unfortunately I can't see me using it if this is the way customer service works. Sorry ET you've lost what could have been a long term customer after our first transaction.
Great easy installation and great quality for the price
Everything came exactly on time with all the hardware to get the job done
The best I can say anything but the best they gave me the best service to follow up the next thing I know it was already home
Very easy to find the right floor mats for my needs. At what I thought was a fair price. The shipping was also super fast.!
Delivered faster than expected. Will be installing but appear to be great quality.
Ordering my items was a breeze and very straightforward. Communication was good and shipping was quick.
The Extreme Terrain website is easy to navigate to find the items I wanted to purchase.
One part of a four part order arrive broken. I called and was informed that I had to send pics of the part, which I did and no return was necessary. I then got an email saying that a shipping label was available for the return. I responded saying that I thought it not necessary to return the part. Got another email saying they were reviewing my order and that I should send pics of the broken part. I responded that I already sent pics and shortly after received sn email asking if I received my replacement. I responded that I didn't yet receive it followed by another email saying that the part was in the mail. I decided not to respond any more and the part arrived a few days later. Seems that folks at this merchant don't communicate amongst each other.
Best price anywhere so quick did I receive them. Everyone needs to check this site out an order anything and everything for your Jeep
Answer: They have broken several federal consumer protection laws in my 2 experiences with them.
Answer: Scam as far as I'm concerned. Cheat you out of product and don't make it right, how else do you describe them?
Answer: Not worth giving this company a second chance. Other more legit companies to purchase from.
Answer: Have a lot of time, be patient and expect nothing. ANd you will be fine. If
