They cancel my ticket and promise a refund in febuary. Now it is july, i call and send email them everyday, they no answer no reply. They dont want to refund. Bad service i ever seen
About a year ago, Explore Trip had sold numerous tickets with Jet Airways, an airline which went bankrupt in April 2019. Ever since its insolvency, Explore trip has not issued a refund to the customers including myself. In fact, I found out about the insolvency within 48 hours prior to my flight by myself. There was no email notifying customers about the insolvency upon the incidence, no backup plans, and no effort to resolve the issue. When I called the customer support team to inquire about the issue, they responded: "well its good that you found out now instead of finding it out at the airport." Despite the fact that my flight was leaving within 48 hours, the person on the phone could not provide a solution or an alternative. He asked me to send an email, and told me "they will probably get back to you within 48 hours" I waited for about 10 hours and couldn't wait anymore so I cancelled my flight with them entirely and re-booked my trip with Expedia. I have been contacting them via phone and email back and forth for more than a year now, and they only keep telling me that "they are working on it, please be patient" It has been over a year! Are they waiting to a point that they are no longer reliable? Jet Airways is non-existent now. I spent $678.26 on the original flight with Explore Trip and an extra $930 for the last minute booking. I have waited too long to reach out to my credit card company and the dispute period is 3 months; however, my transaction was made over a year ago. Does anyone know if there is any way to get my money back? Is taking legal action the only way now? Hope you all are safe and well, and DO NOT BOOK WITH EXPLORE TRIP.

Complete SCAM! I purchased a ticket through Farescan/ExploreTrip for a flight with TAP airline. Called the airline, they advised me that they are offering a full refund, but since I purchased my ticket (PNR: R5U8JM) through Farescan, they must contact the airline's helpdesk and the refund will be given immediately. The airline went as far as put a comment on my reservation that the refund must be requested. I sent all the information to Farescan. The company is refusing to issue a refund. TAP advised me that it is illegal and to let them know that I am a US citizen. I sent a copy of my passport and another request. Farescan is taking advantage of people in hard situations due to COVID -19. If I don't get a refund and response, I am going to turn to social media and begin exploring legal options. Shame on them.
My flight got canceled, call them to get refund. Agent told me that they will give me credit for it. I told them I want the refund bcos you never know. Since some airlines will be going bankruptcy. Agents says that they will be taking 30% out for canceling fee.? Fxxxxxk. I wanted to talk to his manager... he says there's no one here that you can talk to... he was saying that hes the only one who can help me... and i told him you are not helping me. Only words coming from his mouth was nope no nope no nope... only credit... nope. Hold for 10 minute... let me find out... nope... no... I will be back 1 hour... fxxxk... I was on phone for 90 minutes... amd 70 some minutes I was on hold... I was getting tired and gave up... I let them take my $450... it was so stressful 90 minutes... I will never use this junk again.
Everyone is suffering at this time due to the covid 19, however, exploretrip still want to charge for a cancelled flight by china eastern airline. The airline stated to refund full, but exploretrip still want to get money from this canceled flight? I don't want to give any star to them and the customer service is so rude.

Customer service (Colin) was absolutely $#*! and they were not gonna give me a full refund when they are supposed to due to covid-19, i even called the airline to confirm this. Still trying to resolve this - such a waste of time

It is a long story between exploretrip and me because of corona virus. They got my money and they are not giving me back that's all. Never again and please do not buy from exploretrip even you buy ticket in the future when you go to airport they might tell you there is no ticket. Customer service hang out on me 10 times they scream at me and they don't answer my phones anymore last time when they answer she said she doesn't wanna help me all I asked was refund of my money 2437. 68 Canadian dollar. When there is corona and I can't work and make money to pay my bills and rent exploretrip didn't give my money put me in worse station. I didn't wanna write all story because I need like 10 pages.And the other company Turkish Airlines didn't try to help me and they lie to me my 2437. 68 dollar is a big money for me to alive at this pandemic but for that companies nothing. All I want is hopefully they will became same position they put me in.
If any of your flights are affected by Coronavirus and exploretrip.com is refusing to give you a FULL refund, contact your credit card company for fraud. Explore Trip tried to deny my refund after Turkish Airlines cancelled my flight. Explore Trip only offered me a credit. That wasn't going to work for me. I called Turkish Airlines and they said Explore Trip owes me a FULL refund. I called my credit card company. They took care of it and got me a FULL refund. This is a bad business! Do not book with them!
I booked a flight with them, airline cancelled, they did not notify of cancelation, called them and they sent me to airline, airline sent me back to them. Nightmare to get hold of them, ask for supervisor, refused to do that, ask for refund, refused to do that. Overall, very unprofessional, dishonest, never do business again.
I called customer service asking for a full refund, they said they would only be able to give me 104 dollars out of the 900 I paid for the ticket. After a lot of debating, they told me they could only give 400 dollars back and that I had no time to decide because it was a one time deal and if I called the next day, the deal was off and I'd only get 104 dollars back. I ended up giving up to the pressure and getting the 400 dollars back, I'm extremely unsatisfied. I regret using this website, the worst decision I made.
They are the most manipulative, shady dishonest travel agency on the internet. The 5 star review is from their employee.
Booked United airticket to Japan through them for cherry blossom in April. Now the Covid 19 pandemic make United cancelled a lot of flights which affecting me as well. Instead of following the United cancellation policy this travel agency refused to do so, they only want you to rebook the ticket with them and pay the different for their higher price ticket and you must complete the travel by the end of 2020. In one email, this agency said United approved my refund, but a week later said United is not approving refund. This explore trip website is a scam business without any integrity. Do not spend your thousands of dollars hard earned money with them.
This is the worst travel company I have ever booked with, during this horrible time with the Coronavirus (COVID-19), first my county, then my state, and finally my country has completely restricted my travel and ability to take my flights on my Cancun vacation. Explore Trip was happy to take my money months ago in December, 2019, before Coronavirus was even discovered, but unable to refund me anything.
They tried to offer me then chance to reschedule my flight up to a year, but they couldn't even offer a flight that was anywhere near the price I paid originally so I was unable to reschedule to ANY flight (it had to be the exact same departure and destination).
So, I told them to cancel my flights (departure and return) before I left on my trip on 3/19/20, and guess what, they couldn't even follow my instructions and do that. I called yesterday to confirm they had cancelled both my trips (and I gave them both PNR numbers: M38F4B, M32VER), and they hadn't cancelled either.
As the situation with COVID-19 has been rapidly changing and restrictions increasing, I have called them over 6 times, and they were useless. They all have thick accents and are impossible to understand, and impatient and display horrible customer service. In fact, in 2 of those 6 times they HUNG UP ON ME for no reason.
This company is criminal, they just want to steal your money. I would not be surprised if they permanently go out of business during this horrible time of COVID-19 because they don't know how to treat their customers.
I have a flight to Mexico on April 9th and of course I not able to go do to the virus witch is a world wide problem and international flights are not recommended, I call this $#*! of a company 3 times and I got different answers! One wanted me to pay 62 dollars more to get a credit of my flight, the other one wanted me to choose a date to flight at another time, the last call also wanted me to choose another day to be able to take a flight, but how do you choose a day if we don't know how long this virus is going to be around! I did not even asked for a refund I only wanted credit to be able to use at another time when is safe and the guy hung up on me. THE WORST AND $#*! COMPANY, AVOID AT ALL COST!@exploretrip #exploretrip

I (and countless other people) never got my refund from these scammers! Just look at all the complaints and 1 star reviews at these sites. I should've done my research before booking my flight with this TERRIBLE agency! Expensive lesson because it cost me almost $750.

All the 4 and 5 star ratings were obviously done by bots (not real people). Comments are all fake! Compare them to the comments of people who rated this agency with 1 star.
There needs to be a Class Action suit against these scammers! Put them out of business!
A guy with an indian accent accuses me of being idiotic for trying to get a refund on my flight. He then went on to tell me how busy he was with the increased calls from the virus outbreak.

They are ROBBERS. Stay away from this company, I confirmed and paid a penalty fee. They called 6 hours later to ask for more and more money. They tried to steal my money.
Like everyone stated read the 1 star review! They will not give you back your money, they are a scam site, the use bots on all the 5 star to up the review! BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! Will make you wait 4-5 weeks for refund then in 4-5 weeks tell you that they process, then 4-5weeks later tell you the same story without giving you a refund, picture are from 6 weeks apart!
I booked one fight through them and I called to cancel before 24 hours pass just to get my refund. First of all, they told me we will cancel your ticket, but we will deduct $200 from your money! Then I waited for more than 2 weeks to get my refund and i did not get it. I called them back, they told me that your ticket is not canceled and it still valid. I said what are you mean it is not canceled! I said i called you after a couple of hours after I booked and the evidence is you told me that you gonna deduct $200 from the money. They said no one called to cancel and there is no record on our system. Then i said but i have called you and the worker who assisted told me that he canceled. Then they said we are sorry nothing we can do. It was my mistake because I did not check for the cancelation email as prove because I was busy and i totally forgot it. As a result, they robbed my money and i was not able to dispute the payment from my credit company. The workers have a bad service and they let you stay on the line for a too long time without solving anything. So i am planing to make a court against them, but the issue that there is no evidence of my issue.
Answer: This site is a sham,. They lie, and will not resolve any issues you have.
