WORST company i've had to deal with! Their « meet the price or beat it » is FALSE advertising! My my flight on their website it was 346 USD, on the airline's website it was 242 USD. They say to contact them within 24hrs to ask for a refund, which I did (with ALL documentation necessary for a refund) but they conveniently only answer you a week later saying « you should have contacted us within 24hrs of your booking, now it's too late », plus only refund if you « within the United States ». AVOID AT ALL PRICE using this company! You'll save time, money and headache!
Many years traveling and never had a bad experience until I deal with these guys. Trust other people's opinions too, these guys should be out of business
Called them three days straight to find information about future credit they owed me each agent told me something entirely different. Told me to wait for a ***** (specific agent) to come back to work to be able to resolve the matter. Stay away their business is terrible!
Had booked last year, called in again to book today.
1. Call: They hung up
2. Call: Put on 15 mins hold by agent and disconnected
3. Call: Agent quotes 100$ price than the actual fees shown in their own website
4. Call: Who would call the 4 th time?
Just going to use another website instead of dealing with a $#*!ty service
Really good experience with the representative; Kerry. He helped me re-book my flight at a better price and even increased my layover just so I don't have any trouble switching the flights at no extra cost. Will recommend the site, awesome representatives as well.
TERRIBLE. I booked a trip with them and never received a confirmation. Called them and they said they couldn't book because the price had increased. I never received any communication from them and wouldn't have known if I hadn't went to check the details and realized I never received the confirmation email. They tried a bogus 'we'll make it right and give you a discount' and quoted me a price $300 higher for the same exact flight. Luckily I was checking the airlines flight at the same time and it was the same exact price the airline was quoting. Needless to say I did not purchase through them.
Website will mishandled your personal data and they will charged you extra to get your personal data corrected. Don't trust the website!
They cancelled my ticket 2 days after I booked it, saying it was a problem on my banks side. When I called the bank, they said that the money was already taken, the bank did not block nor cancel the payment. There was no reason for why I shouldn't have gotten my ticket, other than the fact that as soon as I called the costumer service representative they tried to sell me a more expensive ticket. I asked if they can reserve my ticket until I figure out another way to pay (since they already took the money, but did not refund me yet), and they said no, it will be 200$ more expensive. So I went ahead and got it from another site. I am requesting a 200$ compensation.
Absolutely the worst experience buying a ticket with these scams. Please do yourself a favor and never book with them!
Well, I purchased 2 tickets to Bali from them. I received an email confirmation and then I received a phone call from them to verify the banking information. Everything checked out fine, and I received an email with E-ticket confirmation. Less than 48 hours I received an email stating my reservation is cancelled due to "verification failure ". I called them immediately, the representative told me the bank rejected the transaction. When I told her that's not possible because the purchase amount has been deducted from my account. After back and forth for over an hour they offered to make a new reservation to me but it will cost $500 more than previous price.
SCAM ALERT: BUYER BEWARE
Do yourself a favor and never use Exploretrip. Put them out of business. No integrity, no customer service, and total lies. I booked a ticket and they cancelled the reservation citing that they had a problem with bank verification. I called my bank and they said transaction was processed and then confirmed by Exploretrip. I then called Exploretrip to receive 2 more lies that verification wasn't accepted through my bank and that I coudn't be helped over the phone and needed to email some generic email address. Keep in mind Skyscanner uses Exploretrip to book flights. I will never use SKYSCANNER ever again either.
Ordered two tickets this morning for my husband and myself. They sent an email confirmation of the payment for our tickets but the e-tickets hadn't arrived. We called twice, and they told us it was on its way but we still hadn't received anything and just to wait. Finally, when we called back and the representative told us, they couldn't give us the tickets because explore trip had sold out the flight in the meantime and that they would only sell a new ticket for 300$ more.
Worst customer service experience in my 15 years of travel business. I had booked 3 separate reservations for a group of 12 people. They called once and did not leave a message. After googling up, I found out that it belonged to exploretrip.com, so I called them to make sure that all 3 reservations would be all right. The customer service representative said that all tickets are set. And she even resent the reservation confirmation emails. She never indicated that there may be some verification issues. About 8 hours later, I was shocked to learn that all reservations were abruptly cancelled due to verification issues. They never left a voice mail or sent an email message asking me to get in touch to verify my reservations. When I had complained, I was offered to re-book the same reservations at almost $300 more than my original reservation. And I was penalized with higher airfares because they never bothered to check in with me first before cancelling all reservations. And their offer of resolution was below acceptance (as I had no choice but to accept their subpar resolution - which was not to my satisfaction - as I wanted the original reservation prices that they cancelled on me out of blue). I have been in the travel business for 15 years, never did I have a similar experience like this before as others would usually reach out first before cancelling. It is not that hard to make a courtesy call or email, and leave a message for me to get back to them (as I would have been more than happy to verify my purchases/reservations). Most definitely will NOT use their service again, and will NOT recommend their service to anybody.
Cheap deals attracted me and got trapped
Happen to find super cheap flight ticket from ExploreTrip on Sky Scanner.
To book tickets, i gave credit card details to ExploreTrip.
They never booked the ticket rather they say, we will contact bank to confirm card and payment.
After waiting for 12 hours, they says, your bank is not responding and now the price has increased.
Do you want to go for higher price ticket?
I said, f*** you, I don't want any ticket, cancel my booking.
I also, called my bank to stop the card.

WHY SKY SCANNER ALLOWS SUCH FAKE?
They did not booked the flight and did not bother to tell me that the flight was never booked. On the flip side they never charge my credit card. Here is the answer from them after contacting them to confirm the flight. I had to book another flight with Expedia and the price was 30 $ USD more expensive. I was lucky that I found it myself, but without this luck, this had the potential to be a really expensive decision to book my ticket with ExploreTrip.

We were excited to book flights to Australia in February when we were seeing $260 one way flights! We were using Skyscanner, which showed that ExploreTrip had the cheapest ticket ($240). What a deal, right? Well, we booked our flight, then two days later we received an email telling us that they hadn't booked our tickets, there was nothing they could do, good luck finding new tickets. Of course, during those two days the prices had shot back up to $700. We had to delay our trip by 5 days just to find reasonable tickets again. Why did they wait 2 days to tell us? We could have booked with someone else. Instead, they screwed us over.
I did not receive my e-ticket and employees in the company lied to me twice telling me I would get it within a specific amount of time. After reading terrible reviews online, I made sure to cancel the booking within the first 24 hours. I hope my card will not be charged.
I booked a flight via exploretrip.com. Two days later this flight get cancelled because they weren´t able to verify my creditcard. I tried again for 15 USD more. Two days later the same story. Then I booked the same flight with another agency and everything was good! I lost at least 20 USD and a lot of time!
Exploretrip.com an online travel agency is a liar, phony, inconsiderate and a sucker. It will eat your money to its heart's content. It is s disgrace to have this kind of travel agency on line. It refused to refund our airline tickets when our failure to show up at the airport was beyond our control. It does not consider an act of God like a typhoon a justifiable ground to reimburse our tickets. We missed our flight, domestic and international, because we were stranded for in Odiongan, Romblon, Philippines for three (3) days because of typhoon Usman. Next time you book your flight, don't ever, ever, ever think of booking with an online travel agency especially Exploretrip.com because it would be a nightmare and heartbreaking not to mention the fact that you no longer would be able to recover your money if you don't show up at the airport regardless of whatever reason you may have. Worst service. Do not book your flights with them. Its a spam. They do not care for the customers and make a fool of you. They will book your flight at a lower price but will not confirm your ticket and when you call the next time to inquire about booking they will offer the same ticket at much higher price. So do not book your tickets with them.
I had booked flights to India but had to cancel them. I was assured I would get the refund in 3-4 business days. Called them they told me i will be refunded in 10 business days. 10 days later no reply. Raised a dispute on my card. The card after 6 months say that explore trip cancelled the dispute. Called explore trip they said they lost the card details so could not refund it. Made me pay $100 more from a card and said they will refund the original amount and the $100 to that card. 3 years down still waiting. Wish I could file a formal complaint against them somewhere.
Answer: This site is a sham,. They lie, and will not resolve any issues you have.
