My daughters account was hacked. I gave them all the information they wanted, screen shots of information and also the names of the persons involved and Epic still came back stating the informations was wrong or incomplete. They refuse to help if you get hacked even though they say they take this issue very seriously.

Epic games I love your game but you gotta take out the dinosaurs they aggravate you so much that it makes you loose focus and the game. The dinosaurs are very useless and annoying I think everybody would love your game even more if you took out those damn dinosaurs thank you. #$#*!themdinosaurs

They recently ripped me of by an Assassin Creed game. Without knowing or mentioning it anywhere, I bought the Russian game where I thought I was buying the English one. Anyway, I bought the game, downloaded it through the night. When I woke up, the game was downloaded and I was in the main screen. To my shock, it was in the Russian language. Fine I said, I'll try to fix it myself and change the language. To my shock, there was no English language. The interface couldn't be changed! Ok fine I said, I'll contact them and ask for a refund and then I'll buy the English version of it. And so I did. I contacted them. They said I've already played the game and according to their stupid policy, they won't refund it. I explained that I reaaally did not play it. Being in the main screen all night while I was asleep just because this stupid game downloads itself and then launches it, doesn't mean that I was playing it! But they said, it is what it is. And so I said thanks and BYE epic games. You'll never see me again. You just ripped me off legally. Stupid company. You lost me and lost a bunch of other people too.

Some have said Epic is what steam needs, and I'm inclined to agree. However, Epic Games is fighting dirty. Rather than provide a better user AND developer experience with the vast amount of capital they have, they choose to bribe devs into exclusively using their store exclusively. Meanwhile the user experience means many people don't want to use it. $#*!ty UI (the friends list takes up a quarter of the home page and can't be minimized, for example), and lack of creature comforts from steam, like remote play or a simple option to review a game. Frankly, I just like steam more. Epic Games is a launcher and a store, much like uplay or origin, except they both have better UI (though Uplay not by much). Steam has taken the larger cut from developers, but reinvested it back into their platform. Remote play (allowing you to play pc games from your phone or tv), a large community section, mods, a cleaner UI that (thanks to epic games) has gotten better. Seriously, the only good epic has done is make steam start actually updating their client more regularly and not resting idly. To that I give them 1 star. However, removing consumer choice is not competition. It's a buyout. Funny thing is, devs may like it, but that's only half your client base. The other, larger half (though I wouldn't necessarily say more or less important) is users. There are users who will defend steam to the ends of the earth and worship Gabe as some kind of god. Obviously the latter is usually more of a joke, but when do you see people fervently do anything towards epic beyond simply vilifying it? There's a reason for that. Epic has tried to copy steam, but it made the fatal mistake of assuming steam is just a store front. Oh and they give free games I guess? That's not a bad idea, but I own most of the games they give out on steam.

The worst customer service i have ever expirienced. Not helpful at all and does not listen to what you have to say. It takes at least 24 hours to get this poor respons

I played 20 games in a row and didn't get the impostor. When I die. (FIRST OF COURSE) i have nothing to do except watch and do nothing so I just leave the game, plus no one ever give the right call because of the useless wheel that no one believes and there is no voice chat options... please make the followings:
1: make the option for voice chat please! 2: give my fellow ghosts in the game meaning! To do some tasks even tho we're dead. 3: third and last make an option for free chat, where we can write freely. This will make my life and more much more peaceful. Please and thank you: D

From a gamming standpoint its pretty good with frequent game giveaways and constant sales, however developers completely disregarded security. My account was compromised, password and email changed and there was little help from contacting epic games community support. Long story short my account with multiple games got hacked and epic games gave zero $#*!s.

Their server and application platform is basically bad. They really need a lot of work to put in in order for their server and platforms to be rated better.

I've uninstalled then reinstalled so many times with this launcher to fix simple errors that no other launcher like steam has. Free games are the only reason to use this launcher.

I lost access to my email.
Address no longer exists.
Contacted support.
Indicated that I could still receive email, but that it was not.
Didn't want to help me any further.
Stay away from epic

112 emails trying to get a nameless account named and a Nintendo account linked. NO HELP AT ALL, they had me doing the same dumb steps for like a whole week. I just kept the dummy account but I WILL NOT be adding ANY Vbucks on this account AT ALL The only reason they get 2 stars is because of the dumb entertaining names they have.

I $#*!ing hate epic games so much. You ruined my favourite game Rocket League and I lost my whole account which I have been playing on for soo long. I don't plan on making a new account because I would have to restart everything that I did in a game. So good $#*!ing job Epic, you have made lose all my love for Rocket League. I won't even mention how bad the security on Epic Games is and all the other problems is has. If you are reading this PLEASE DON'T PLAY OR DOWNLOAD EPIC GAMES, IT'S THE WORST SITE FOR GAMING I HAVE EVER USED.

After exchange emails with so many different people, NOBODY solved my problem and seems that they don't care. Every answer was "unfortunately we can't help you".
You need so many space in your computer to download a game. Even with over 1TB space I still could not download my purchase and they refused to refund me. The police says 14 days refund after the purchase, but they refused to do so with less 1 day after my purchase.
It was a waste of money and time.

I purchased a game, I read the spec requirements, did my due diligence to make sure I wasn't setting myself up for disappointment. I purchased the game, started playing it, and things went fine for the first couple hours, then I started getting crashes. No big deal, that happens from time to time, even with games that don't require a lot of CPU. But the further I got in the game, the more often the crashes occurred, eventually making this game unplayable. Since I'd "played' more than 2 hours of this broken game, they wouldn't refund my purchase. I game them the huge error list, asked them to make an exemption (something that Steam actually will do in some cases), and they just kept cutting and pasting their policy, and telling me how sorry they were. It really is amazing what they've gotten away with. Needless to say, I'll be sticking with good companies who appreciate clients, Steam has been great to me. Hopefully Epic will learn how to treat customers at some point.

I have been emailing back forth for 5 hours! Problem is still not resolved and has gotten worse. Lost all my purchases. Disgusted
